he taps his headset. "i'v already hacked in. but it does give me a seat." he rolled over and climbed into the chair with difficulty. when he was comfortable, he started to type. "for some reason, the engines are only working at 89%. i'll try and fix that." he cracked his knuckles, and began typing like mad.

a warning signal blares out from the console. it then stops. "there. i've diverted power from my storage units to hurry it up a bit. another 25 min should do it. at the max. how long till the next checkpoint?"
(the storage was where he kept his extra food. They're big storage containers.)
