Amane paused, her ears twitching at the loud knock outside the door. "Oh Mr Alpha arrived quick enough. Now if only the clothes will arrive just as quick hehe. But you don't have to carry them around for me... although, it will be much easier to slip away if we don't have to call someone in to fetch them for us" she decided. "Oh hai there Mr Hayate. Hope you are having a great dragon festival."

Hebal grinned bouncing up to Hayate and pulled him into a hug "Surprise! Hehe happy dragon festival! Hope you don't mind that we came here last minute but we haven't told Oassu and Felina yet so please keep quiet about us being here for the time being" she requested letting go of him. "Oh and thanks for the present"

"Hi there sir, didn't quite catch who you are but give me a few minutes and I'll introduce myself peoperly" Came Mu's voice at the other side of the screen in the corner where she was having a moments difficulty zipping her dress up.

Alpha chuckled hiding his disappointment that Hebal backed away the further he walked into the room "Ahh all getting ready for the party already I see. Hope you had a decent time around Yithra the past couple of hours and didn't have as much difficulty getting round the streets" he greeted them having forgotten to mention Jeckhart at all to Hayate.

Zadina nodded "Yes it was quite enjoyable we all had a splendid time in town" he said to Hayate moving over to a seat beside Amane "Would you like to get fluffed up just now before the party?" he asked "Then hopefully your dresses will have arrived afterwards" he said before looking over at Hayate "So Mr Hayate what did you get up to all of today?" he asked wiggling his feet happily under the chair.

Hayate snickered returning the handshake "I'm no expert on what demons find pretty so I will take your word for it. Seem to have the same sense of humour though. Probably a good reason too for him not telling you too much about his adventures too" he replied freeing his hand to straighten his hat. "Well I went out earlier to see the centaurs with Felina, Oassu and General Vistae. Then went home did some things with Adohand, went to visit the family then came here to cut a long story short. Its been a while since I have properly had time to see everyone" he informed Zadina.

Alpha laughed shaking his head "Well me being honest, when walking around in human form rather than your demon form people see anyone who can do fire type tricks as more impressive so think that worked I our favour in terms of tips" he admitted.

Mu on the other hand shook her head "Or maybe it was just because I have plenty practice getting a crowd all hyped up that they paid a lot. Who's Adohand though? And I like the hat" she asked curiously as she went to take a seat on the edge of the bed.

Hebal scratched her head "Wouldn't that make it a little like you were cheating if they didn't know you were a fire demon hehe?" she suggested sticking her tongue out at them.

Amane groaned trying to straighten her fur out where Hebal had left it in a mess "Sure I could go now and get it done so can change straight into a dress when they arrive. Bet someone put them in a room at the complete opposite end of the palace or something" she joked.

Zadina nodded "Well I'll find out where they are while you are getting fluffed up I promise" he said moving over to the door. "We're going out to the spa before the party tonight but if you need anything feel free to ask a servant with the bell" he announced to the room indicating the bell he'd used earlier before holding the door open for Amane.

A wet-haired Jeckhart emerged moments later from the bathroom looking bewildered "Erm well, ok Lord Zadina take care!" he said beginning to feel a little apprehensive as he noticed the newcomers in the room. "And hello Mr Hayate, Captain Alpha" he added quickly returning to dry his hair.

Hayate paused managing to give Jeckhart a brief hello while retrieving his hat from Zadina before he left through the door. "Well that was a pretty awkward moment... we didn't exactly have the most friendly of conversations last time we had the opportunity. But I will take your word for it about him being no bother and if need be just avoid him. Also I won't say anything about his human form" he agreed.

Hebal scratched her head having no idea what event Hayate was referring to "Well I'm sure he didn't mean to come across as unfriendly. He's really making an effort to fit in with all our plans of dragging him half way round the world with no notice hehe" she assured him.

Mu meanwhile sighed and shook her head "Hey guys, lets not go into talking about people behind their backs like this. Besides the clan members from what I heard can also try and read our minds if they think something fishy is going on from what I have heard. So instead... anyone care for a small drink? Found it in the mini bar earlier" she offered holding up a bottle.

Alpha snickered "Well sure, may as well take advantage of the free guest luxuries while staying in this room heh. But then after that it will probably be a good idea to try and iron out the old tux I have stuffed in my bag"

Amane nodded trying not to stare at the servant "Can't we just ask one of them people to arrange locating the dresses for us? They might have a better idea as to where to find them. Though what kind of spa treatment do you elves go for? Just massages and stuff?"

Jeckhart re-emerged from the bathroom clad in his newer clothes "Hello again everyone, sorry if I took too long in the bathroom" he said moving aside towards the bed for a seat "I trust you had a good day out Alpha?" he asked sighing as he resisted the urge to lie down on the bed.


Zadina paused scratching his chin as they stepped down the extravagant stairs "It seems some more guests are arriving, only a few arrive during the day most arrive in their fancy clothes towards the end of the night" he said peering over the bannister at them. "Oh look, that's rare!" he said pointing down at another group of guests.

An elegant slim elven woman with pale skin stepped into the hall conversing idly with the servants without looking at them while she examined the hall. Spotting Zadina she smiled and bowed deeply before muttering a greeting in elvish and beckoning gently behind her. Shuffling from behind her came an equally pale white-haired Elven girl around Zadina's age dressed in a fetching red dress that matched her mothers. Who peered up at Zadina shyly before curtseying politely and bowing.

"That's Lady Selene, and her daughter Mirele normally she doesn't bring her daughter along to these events" he explained to Amane tilting his head curiously before returing the greeting in elvish before Lady Selene escorted Mirele away down the hall.

"Well looks like there will be at least one other kid to play with this year if we want" he said hopping down the stairs again "To be honest I didn't want to go down as I'd probably be expected to chat to the nobles if they got close enough" he whispered "But sure if you want to go now I'll ask a servant to go investigate the dresses and a nice massage a manicure and pedicure and some skin treatment probably, I don't really know what all their things are." he said asking a servant at the door to run and fetch the dresses for them before leading Amane off down another corridor.
