I'm still in a slump for this case study about the old man and his living will. What the hell do I say?

All Hail the Reign of the Ostriches! Let it hereby be announced that:The doctors were right for conforming to his request? And that assisted suicide could have relieved some of the pain of his passing away? ...that is all

Strangely enough the case of assisted suicide is not an issue in this case, since the man has a living will that states that he wants to die if certain things were to happen to him. He just wasn't clear. This is probably the best answer I can give for it: Quote: The man was not very clear in his living will, which caused a bit of confusion amongst the health care providers that were tending to him. What the man's definition is of a 'vegetable' could be different from theirs. So there would be a good deal of reluctance from the nurses and doctors to remove him from life support. However, they had plenty of time to clarify the issue since the man had wrote the living will years before. They could have asked him to be more specific. If the man had worded it as something like 'if I become severely permanently and irrevocably brain damaged, I do not wish to live', it might have avoided the confusion. I agree with what they had eventually done when they had removed the feeding tube. The man did state in his will that he did not want to be artificially fed.

It's true. And if they give the unlikely "Okey dokey" to it, the government will stop him. So either way...

To detonate a bomb over a public airspace? That just sounds dangerous, not to mention the biohazards. And it's unsanitary.
