Amane hesitated flinging her leftover stick into the open bin "Well I guess so. My mum seems to have a bigger house and fancier things than everyone on the village. Even the village elder doesn't seem to have a house as big as hers though I have heard rumours that she might be one of the candidates for elder when we need a new one. But if that were to happen I would have no peace and quiet" she groaed at the thought.

Hebal frowned hugging Jeckhart once she finished her food "Well thaks for pointing it out and sorry you're cold. Though I don't think a few less degrees will make much of a difference since its already pretty frosty. Though after your food put your gloves on and your hands won't get sore at least" she advised putting an arm around his shoulder hoping it would warm him up.

Oassu chuckled "They'd never catch me to hit me" he said linking arms with Felina and cuddling a relieved Cid when she arrived "Seems like you were worried about me little guy but chill for now" he said handing the bunny back to Felina "Still lets get back inside, starting to feel the cold out here" he said shivering "Nice as your spells are I'd rather just get inside" he said.

Gil raised an eyebrow "A dark upbringing, I'm not really sure what that would be but perhaps it's best to leave stuff like that under the rug" he said petting Enkidu as they left the shop "Still I doubt you ever really went a wander through the city when you had all those nice things in the palace to look at" he said.

Zadina quickly threw his stick in the bin after Amane "Well that's pretty impressive for your grandmother, I bet she'd be a really wise elder but why would you have no peace and quiet?" he asked surprised "You'd just need to sneak out into the forest for some peace and you are going to be a summoner after all, going to go far and wide, should get used to a busy lifestyle." he said happily.

Jeckhart blushed slightly "That's alright Hebal, we wouldn't want to give anyone the wrong impression about us" he said gently patting Hebal on the shoulder appreciatively before gently lifting her arm off. "I'll be ok, though your fur was nice and warm, thank you" he said smiling for Hebal.

Felina tutted blocking Oassu's path for a moment "Hey, now how come Cid gets a hug but I don't" she complained flinching slightly from receiving a surprise lick from Cid. "I wouldn't get too cocky about getting past the guards of the palace though. Some of these guys have had years of target practice on people like yourself" she laughed turning around to wait for the gate to open.

Satoshi shrugged "Hebal was sort of raised by bad demons but best not mention that to her for I think its a touchy subject. And we did sort of have a wander around the city for if we spent all day everyday in the palace then you wouldn't have been able to speak to me" she cheerfully pointed out to him.

Hebal scratched her head turning to see the palace gate shut just moments before it came into sight "Hehe perhaps some people arrived left" she commented oblivious to her friends on the other side. "Even if we can't get a hot bath I think the swimming pool can be heated but that's too much water for my liking for the sake of trying to keep warm. But I am hoping we at least have somewhere we can get changed if our new clothes have been delivered there. Or did they go to your house? Hope its the palace so we can keep indoors longer"

Amane's ear wiggled happily "Well I wouldn't really be meeting that may people in all the towns and cities outside of their own temples. Most people probably wouldn't be able to easily spot a summoner anyway. Like your uncle I would have guessed was a sage just by looking at him and hey.... that looks like Oassu and Felina up ahead on the other side of that gate" she pointed out waiting impatiently for it to open back up.

Oassu nodded moving closer to Felina for warmth "Well of course they'd be jealous I bet all those rich nobles would have loved to have married you, but I've already stolen you away thankfully" he laughed hopping slightly. "That's the plus side to seeing them glare at me all night I'll bet" he said brightly.

Gil nodded "I hadn't planned on it, though it's difficult to imagine that woman ever being sad, still she's done really well for herself if all that is true" he admitted cuddling Satoshi gently as they arrived back at the apartment "Sure's gotten dark now, not sure we'd have had time to go to your painting spot as is" he remarked.

Zadina nodded in agreement "Sharp eyes Amane that is them though we should probably leave them alone for now, will see them later" he said giving the command to open the gates "Though don't worry Miss Hebal, the dresses will be delivered here, and if you like I can arrange for some handmaidens to properly clean and fluff your fur for tonight if you'd like" he offered leading them all through the gates.

Felina laughed nervously but pulled the hood of her cloak down now they were at the steps to the entrance "Im sure they would have loved more money to add to their empire and a seat or ten closer to my father at the dinner table. Just try not to brag too much. Its my job to brag about getting someone better than anything they could be. Plus they can't exactly answer back when I do it hehe" she leaned in to whisper to him.

Satoshi shook her head "We probably could have made it but the sun goes down fast here once it starts setting to it is probably a waste of time now since I don't think I could manage many more teleportations today. Because of last night making the costumes I may as well have been awake all night in terms of energy. So lets just grab a jacket or something then put the food away. Oh and I will show you that picture of yourself"

Hebal smiled shaking her head "Oh but Zadina is already a good young man like all noblemen should be" she argued stomping through the snow making the shape of an H while waiting for the others to join. "Is it really only 500 staff members? I thought it would have been more based on the size of the palace and how much security it would need" she asked surprised at the information.

Amane hesitated "Well I suppose a little bit of fluffing up wouldn't go amiss if its not too much of a burden but shouldn't need to have the full works with gloss and things. It's not my kinda thing and I don't think is worth it" she explained watching her mother with curiosity "Come on mum no time for that or your shoes will get too dirty"

Oassu bowed politely along with Felina to the noblewoman "Well I'm not sure your mother would appreciate that considering how busy the palace is gonna be and how important today is, no wonder they scurried away so quickly" he snickered "Still lets get back to the room, I'm dying for a warm bath now" he said shivering once more.

Gil rolled his eyes "Don't need to be an overprotective father to want to keep Takeo away" he said petting Enkidu as he hopped in and settled onto the couch "Well I'm glad they liked me too, seem very nice to me though perhaps I should learn some to overcome that language barrier" he said.

Zadina scratched his head "Well I hadn't included the guards in that number just the servants, perhaps there's more than I thought" he said shrugging slightly looking back at Hebal hopping "That's a very nice little "H" you've drawn Miss Hebal, we can come back later and draw the rest of your name if you like" he said giggling.
