 Just came back from the movie. I can't help but think how much Holmes reminds me of doctor House ;D
The story itself, of course, has plot-holes, but I've still enjoyed it quite a bit.

Oh. Remembering Sere's rant on stolen art here a few days ago, made me think of something.
If you want to own a somesort of picture of your character, yet have no money for buying art.
You can register and download IMVU. Now, before you throw tomatoes at me. Keep in mind, that their shopping works kind of like a dream avatar thing.
Looky what I made and didn't have to spend any money on it.
Just print screen, paste into MS Paint, Photoshop or any other image program you might use, save aaand voila!

Avatar was actually going to have a lot more sci fi element and story than it actually did, but Cameron had to cut a lot of it out to make it work in the mainstream. Honestly, bad decision for the nerds, but smarter for his numbers at the box office. Go watch behind the scenes. People that have the balls to put it down clearly don't understand how much went into it-- I can't even call it a film, because it's not.
People need to just go enjoy it without being so damn critical.
