"Are you kidding? Corella will be fine. She will have probably spent most of the day being pampered and with her feet up getting a massage and her nails done and other incredibly girly stuff before the party. If we stayed around the palace much longer they probably would have wanted to give me the same treatment. Would think we were like dolls sometimes" Felina shuddered gripping her hair briefly. "Be grateful people never try and do stuff like that to more common people like yourself"
Satoshi stopped suddenly realising she was starting to pull at Gil "The food stores aren't far now. But you are right about that when it comes to ninja life. Fortunately for me because I have been permission to roam I can pretty much choose what I want to do so long as I'm not doing anything to jeopardise the village and I'm still pulling in money. Though I think it's because of my dad I got the special treatment to get that" she quietly admitted.

Oassu chuckled "Don't need much work here, I look fine as it is as do you still your sister could do with more time in the forest if you asked me to toughen her up a bit, unless she's just going to be a stay at home princess while you and your sister are running about doing stuff" he said reaching over to play with Felina's fingers.
Gil shrugged "Well perhaps but you've shown you earned the position at least even if your Dad helped get you into it. Another person might just cruise by on their parent's coattails, still I take it you are going to continue travelling with Felina then?" he asked.
Zadina nodded pointing back down the alleyway they entered "We passed it on the way in actually, it was that place where you smelt all those nice things Amane" he said nodding in agreement with Hebal "It was a pretty good day and I hope we made plenty of money for Miss Satoshi but you shouldn't write it off entirely is all I'm saying Amane, though I guess Melanae's dad must get a lot of trouble then if that's the case" he mused.
Jeckhart nodded in agreement "Your daughter is probably right Hebal, it's hard to see how anyone wouldn't want to come up and talk to you, plus you'll have had sales experience I bet with your own shops" he said following the direction Zadina pointed as they left the alley.

Hebal smiled making sure to round everyone up into a brief hug before they set off again "Well maybe I had a little to do with it but I think it was more Zadina's ability to resize and all Satoshi's designs and hard work that paid off hehe. Shame she's not here now or I bet she could have made you a fantastic suit for later for she could easily settle down and make a fortune."
Amane cheered sniffing the air happily hunting for traces of the market she had detected earlier "Yay that place smelled fantastic. So please lead the way. And maybe I can buy one of those delicious smelling cakes to take home with us...." she pondered almost spacing out a moment. "Sorry I got distracted hehe, Looks like Satoshi has herself her first big fan"

Felina sighed slightly disappointed she had managed to finish her food already. "I can't see Corella being anything but a stay at home princess as you call it. Could try and toughen her up a bit but I bet she will just keep kicking and screaming the whole time. Mum spoils her far to much for me to imagine a change anytime soon" she quietly added.
Satoshi hesitated a moment "Well maybe for a while I will since I have nowhere else to go though truth be told I don't think I am being all that helpful at the moment to Felina since I'm more of a people hunter than some weird alchemy item hunter. A break might be nice at some point though because I was hoping it would be a nice opportunity to spend more time with you at some point" she confessed.

Oassu smirked "You must've been hungrier than me then" he said slowly eating up his noodles "Well that was delicious but eh your sister isn't so bad, she has a kind heart at least and I guess that's all a princess really needs to have en't it?" he said dropping his disposable fork in the small box and closing the lid seeing Cid hopping over to investigate as Oassu petted him.
Gil raised an eyebrow "Well I suppose but it's not like they made much use of your tracking talents before did they?" he said pondering what to say next "Truth be told...your mother approached me in the kitchen and suggested I take you along with me on my journey" he said watching to see Satoshi's response.
Zadina and Jeckhart returned Hebal's hug somewhat surprised at the sudden affection "Well we all chipped in Miss Hebal but I think Miss Satoshi focuses more on women's dresses than men's clothes" he pointed out before hopping ahead to keep up with Amane seeing her space out a bit "Well sure Miss Satoshi is talented it only makes sense people would like her work but I don't think it's what she really wants to do still yes lets go get you something real tasty and nice-smelling while Mr Jeckhart gets his suit" he said nodding happily.
Jeckhart watched the children hop ahead "Yes Satoshi certainly has a talent, it's a shame it's not her true passion though and that so much of being successful is just about being a well known name" he sighed "Marketing must be extremely difficult for just one woman" he pondered.

Hebal smiled allowing the children to move a short distance further ahead before following "Uhuh though at least she has a few good connections because of guys like Zadina and Felina. Means she can at least have her work seen by the wealthy people hehe. It's a shame you don't have heightened senses like ours. Her clothes smell really nice but nowhere near as much as how nice that market smelled earlier. Might have to teach Amane a little self control when she's older"
Amane cheered skipping happily alongside Zadina "Yay but nnot too many sweet treats before the party for I don't want to get ill later and miss the fireworks. Though what sort of things do you elves like to eat as part of your culture during the festival" she wondered.

Felina scooped up Cid in her arms and held him tightly to her chest for a cuddle "Oh yeah she has a kind heart and is soft like butter. But also lives a very sheltered life and unlike myself hasn't shown any desire to go out and see much of the world. Think mum also sees her somewhat as her own little project since she's determined to have at least one princess like princess"
Satoshi groaned "Oh trust my mother to bring that up. Heh guess she couldn't help but meddle a little. Well it would be nice to travel around with you a bit. You make good company though you probably wouldn't want me getting in the way of your business. Though its not just tracking and scouting that I do. I do plenty sneaking and trapping"

Oassu nodded "Well if Corella is for it no right to force her to be more outgoing though I can't imagine your mother considers how flirtatious she can be as 'princess-like'" he said taking Felina's rubbish and tossing it in a bin "Still perhaps we'd best move on, more folks are staring at you again" he said.
Gil nodded "As do you but it's not that I'm afraid of you getting in the way it's just that it wouldn't seem fair to drag you into a conflict, I wouldn't want to put you in harms way, especially with your friends like Hebal and Mari. Wouldn't want to worry them" he said.
Jeckhart tilted his head "Well I wonder if she perfumes her clothes or something then though I think Amane is entitled to a little indulgence this time of year. After all it's her first time out the village yes?" he said.
Zadina nodded "Yeah that would be a shame if you missed the fireworks but there'll be loads of sweet things at the party too, huge cakes taller than us I'll bet!" he said skipping with Amane "Though we don't have many dishes for this time of year really, our normal traditions are mostly fruits and vegetables but a lot of them don't grow because of how cold it is." he said sadly.

Hebal nodded giggling away at the skipping "Oh yeah... well its her second day now but still its Yithra of all places. Theres a reason people associate all those fairy stories with the city. Place even looks pretty half ruined but theres going to be giant cake towers and everything. I have been to one of these palace thingies already so I know there will be loads and loads to indulge in later on. Suppose a little snack would be ok though and I think Satoshi does have perfume. Smells nicer than Felina's at least" she quietly added so Zadina wouldn't hear.
Amane gasped in awe at the thought "A cake as tall as us? Wow! But if everyone in the party gets a slice then we might not to get more than a couple of slices since I imagine there will be a lot of guests. Sounds like a good food plan though because I love nice big juicy fruits but its mostly just boring not so refreshing bananas we get in my forest. If very lucky might get peaches but that's it otherwise we pay a fortune since someone will have had to go out of their way to grow their own"

Felina looked around leaving Cid disappointed to suddenly no longer have her full attention "Oh yeah you're right. I wasn't even paying any attention so didn't see them. Yes lets move on" she agreed rubbing Cid's belly as she rose from her seat. "I don't know about that. Apparently a good princess knows how to charm their way into getting things their own way. Especially when they don't have any titles like heir to the throne and blah blah blah" she explained mimicking her mothers voice the best she could.
Satoshi snickered shaking her head "Is that all your worried about? Heh I'm a big girl and I can get into conflicts and potentially harms way all by myself thanks to all my wonderful training with my village so no need to worry on that front. I may not be the best fighter out there but I have plenty tricks up my sleeves and you can always help me work on my skills a little" she smiled steering him into the side door of the food store.

Oassu chuckled "Careful there, don't want you sounding too much like your mother but I'd think Princess is enough of a title to help you get your own way plenty of times" he said scooping up Cid into his arms seeing him hop after Felina.
Gil nodded "Sure, but fighting is exactly what's going to be done, perhaps an operative mission but it'll probably be more like the battle of Yithra, standard rank and file combat, I'm just worried since you are more suited to smaller encounters" he said trying not to offend Satoshi.
Jeckhart nodded "They've certainly dug deep to recover from the damage as well as they did, still I suppose they have the barrier to thank for that, the white mage school certainly earned its accolades that day" he said stopping as they arrived at the market.
Zadina giggled "You are right but that's why there's several cakes like that, each a different flavour but I'm sure we can get you something nice here" he said pausing to look at the market, somewhat quieter now most of the day had passed by.

Hebal smiled her ears twitching as she tried to tune into everything going on around here "Well guess even if they tried removing the barrier I don't think you could beat elves very easily in a magic fight. But I like how they managed to bounce along quite nicely and put things back together. It's barely noticeable in the forest itself. And think all the pretty large flowers where all the fairies live and make everything all pretty and glowy is fine too" she cheerfully added.
Amane grinned choosing to make the decisions for the group and took them straight down the middle row of stalls "I'm sure it will be great when we are there though must be a lot of pressure on the staff to make the best cakes in the world there. Also... do you even know who all your guests are that go to these things. Theres probably half a village worth of people at least who must be attending and I don't even know all the people in mine"

Felina shrugged "well that's not entirely true. The further you are away from the throne the less and less you really get to do anything and with Corella soon to be 4th in line. She doesn't get to make any real decisions without first asking everyone else. Usually the youngest I noble families get married off to various people as a way to make allies unfortunately" she whispered noting the increase in people "I guess the last of the nobility will have arrived by now"
Satoshi rolled her eyes "I would like to think that I am better than how you make me out to be. I did fine in Yithra, barely got so much as a cut during that battle and ninja go to war all the time so its not like we were never trained at that sort of thing. I'm sure you could fid a use for someone good at mid to long range fighting" she shrugged giving the person by the till a polite nod as they passed.

Gil chuckled cuddling Satoshi gently "I should have known but I just didn't really want to drag you into a potentially dangerous situation but I suppose...you could come along if you wanted. Would make your mother happy I'm sure" he said looking around at the strange foods "Best explain how to cook these things if you want a nice breakfast tomorrow" he frowned seeing the instructions weren't in Agralian.
Oassu scratched his chin "Well I hope she doesn't mind it, though she'll probably get to choose won't she? After all all the nobles will want to be closer to the King unless she has to marry to another country or something to secure an alliance" he said chuckling "Best she'd hate that though"
Jeckhart nodded "It probably is, they wouldn't exactly gain anything from destroying a little forest patch like that and I doubt they'd have much success anyway, Faeries have their own strange little magic" he said following Amane.while keeping an eye out for Clothes stalls.
Zadina nodded "It's mostly the nobility that attend this event, there will be delegates from other friendly countries as well, so there should be some Gria and Viera there and Humans from Tricasia." he said trying to recall what he knew of it "Based on recent politics I imagine we'll see some Dwarf delegations as well, though it'll be a brave few to come above ground" he giggled.

Hebal stopped one stall suddenly coming to her attention "Well this is odd but what about this one? It's got loads of viera like fashions in from the looks of it?" she suggested pointing out with a small giggle. "Guess male viera don't change their fashion much even outside of forest villages. Talk about boring hehe. We have a little fairy who travels around with Mari. I think you would like her, she makes everything all sparkle even your clothes"
Amane squeaked in surprise "I always thought it was just going to be elves. So that would be really cool since I have never seen a gria or a dwarf before though I heard the latter are really nasty and mean looking people. I'm also a little curious as to what viera will be there since we have no united leader"
