Desmond stood back to look at his progress with fixing up the church, crossing his arms with a smile "much better" he said smiling, it was, it had looked pretty bad before, but with the right tools, he fixed it up pretty good and well, hell, someone could have a wedding here! He of course didn't know that someone planned to, but still! He was cut away from his thoughts when he heard someone falling on the church steps, he glanced toward the sound, raising an eyebrow and walking over there, and when he did he saw an unfamiliar man there on the ground, he wasn't really sure what to do, he shrugged, picking him off the ground and putting one of the man's arms around his shoulders to help him to one of the pews and sat him down on one, looking at the man with his arms crossed "you're not gonna die on me, are ya?" he asked the stranger

The sound of footsteps immediately caught her attention as she shifted her gaze towards Cloud. The tone of his voice was certainly not a surprise. "Uh... I... " She lowered her head, unable to believe that she was almost about to stutter on her words. And for what reason did she have to coward in fear before him? She shook her head back and forth then held it high, a stern look spread across her face. The fear was taken over by her strong will to fight for the innocent. Just like she tried to for Serah, and now for this silver haired woman. "I'm going to help her, Cloud. Her twin we saw in Forgotten City... Remygius is bounded by chains because of that woman." The tone of her voice contained a mix of emotions that could only be heard inside of her own mind.

Desmond raised an eyebrow "involving... Jenova? Yeah, I'm an Ex-SOLDIER, I know how it feels, the name's Desmond" he extended his hand to shake the man's own "Desmond Wolve, Former SOLDIER First Class" he said to him, then looked around the church "well, you kinda are in friend" he said, laughing a bit afterwards, and shaking his head slightly, then nodded a bit to what he said next, "yeah, well, I've been working on it for no real reason, the ones who're usually here hate me, so, I'm trying to change their mind I guess, not that I really care" he said, mostly reffering to Aerith hating him for what he had done before...

Stopping just at the bottom of the staircase, his eye's remained locked onto the young silver-haired women. Twin? Or perhaps a lie. He would not fully believe until he saw both of them together.Clouds troubled mind didn't make it easy to trust, though it may have seemed somewhat harsh and cold hearted he was only acting in the best intentions for his friends own safety. "..And how are we going to help her? How can we know she's speaking the truth? She may even have the cells.." He spoke aloud, not seeming to care the girl was right there. He wanted her to hear, maybe she could answer some of questions, mostly about the cells. If she had Jenova cells in her that would not help in his trusting abilities. "What ever the case, Be careful Lightning...Jenova touched are not to be so easily trusted, if she is one of them."

He shook his hand. "Gauntila, Gaun for short. And, um, yeah, it is a JENOVA thing. Hojo kinda messed with my DNA when i was little, so I, umm..." he paused. "I don't know how to explain it. Let's just say my name's Gauntila for a reason. sweatdrop And i think the church'll definitely change some perspectives. Thanks!"

Anger began to rose in her chest as she walked towards him, staring deeply into his eyes with her own narrowed and cold. His eyes reminded her so much of her own that day she threaten Serah's very existence for being a l'Cie. It made her stomach churn and twist in a sickening way. "Listen. I will decide her fate if she's lying or not. I want to kill that twin of hers for a reason... even if Remygius is Seige, then that just gives me one less person to kill!" A crackling in her voice gave hint that the anger was increasing ever more. Her body turned away from Cloud as she walked back towards the woman with heavy steps. With a swift motion of her hand, she latched it around Remygius's left wrist and held it high for Cloud to see. The pressure she applied to it wasn't harmful for the woman as a benefit. "I touched her... am I now going to be infected with Jenova cells? Or are you going to at least help us out here?"

Desmond nodded slightly "I remember Hojo... Wow I hated him, I've heard he's become "evil" now, so, hopefully I get a shot at him some day, because I'll take it" he said shaking his head slightly, then nodded at him "I won't pry, it's not really my business anyway" he said and looked around the church a little "yeah, I do hope it will, although I doubt it, Aerith hates me far worse then something like this could fix" he said, shaking his head slightly with a soft sigh, it's not like he wanted to do it, but orders were orders, there was nothing he could do about it or he would've been killed too, he shook his head slightly turning back to him "so, you know Aerith or Zack?" he asked randomly for no real reason

"Hmm...Well, Zack is one of my heroes... From what a friend told me months ago, he defended his honor and beliefs and died protecting them. I like that. As to Aerith, tell me, is Sephriea still alive, or here, or something?"

Aerith had left the mansion not to long after Zack had gone off to the church, finally! She had her chance to do the last minute shopping. Zack was not a easy person to shop for, as he was almost always with her every second of the day so she couldn't quite shop for a gift for him! She had known Lucrecia, her mother and Yuffie were all out shopping in Edge so she headed off to the path in which would lead her to the city.
After a good while of walking through the city,she had come across the shopping district. "Goodness, this is harder then it should be! "
Cloud looked away from Remygius as his mako blue-greens came to rest on Lightnings suddenly angry ones.His features did not change in the slightest, just remained emotionless as he watched her. "You don't understand anything about Jenova, Lightning. She is the greatest threat upon this planet, a curse that does not go away. It will only bring pain, suffering and more useless deaths. " As the women took Remygius's arm, Cloud shook his had at her. "You don't get infected by the cells from touching. They have to be injected into you. " He said to her, his voice calm for the moment. "Fine..But if she does anything.." Cloud stopped his sentence there, if anything Lightning would know just what he was going to say.
