Oassu grinned "Well you know what I mean, sure he's got other tricks up his sleeve but yeah we were up out early today so other folks have presents for us I'm sure that we never got" he said getting up from the table and going to order the noodles.

Gil smiled stroking Satoshi's hair "Sure I'll make you something, what sorta thing would you like for breakfast tomorrow?" he said releasing Satoshi so they could keep walking "Want to keep you pampered and pretty tomorrow since you have someone to celebrate it with you tomorrow" he said brightly.

Jeckhart nodded "I see, well he was shutting up when we arrived, but I hope I'll still be able to get a suit from somewhere else, perhaps I'd best head off now to look for it to save time" he said uncertainly.

Zadina smiled reaching up and extending a hand towards Amane's ear as the sparkle dragon leapt to Zadina's arm and curled its way around his neck towards his shoulder. "Unfortunately this spell doesn't really have any practical use really and so you don't find it in any books" he said looking over at the dragon turning so Amane could get a better look "Though that spell makes a message appear in a book by the front door and then the doorman will take the message to the highest ranking staff member on call at the time. It's a difficult spell to set up as the book in question needs to be specially enchanted and replaced if it runs out of pages. It can also be more difficult over range but it's handy for things like this" he said examining Amane's dress "You're going to look really beautiful at the ball tonight in that dress I bet everyone else will say so!" he grinned

Felina rubbed her hands together casting a spell of warmth upon herself also "Maybe he will surprise us one day and start floating without a bubble hehe. But for now the only thing he does on a regular basis that can be surprising is breaking wind and burping. As for presents I am seriously hoping Alpha got us something tasteful" she groaned putting her hands in her pockets while she waited.

Satoshi paused steering Gil away towards the outskirts of the village "Hmm I think I still have leftover egg and bacon in the apartment but really just anything edible would suffice if there was none left. To be honest with you, it's going to be strange for I am not used to guys going out of their way to keep me pampered and pretty as you call it. I mean with the exception of Yuudai I think the guys I know just see me as one of the lads."

Hebal swallowed hard looking at the bill a moment before releasing a huge sigh of relief when the cost was reassessed "Well that was a little bit of a spare but thank you for everything Mr Bartlby and here, there should be a little extra for your hard work and for keeping the shop open a bit longer" she bowed then handed over her bag of gil in exchange for her shopping bag.

Amane smiled giving Zadina a brief hug "Thank you again for the pretty dress. It's a great present. Though Im sure the staff around the palace would be able to help take care of me or at least I hope so. Shame the books aren't really practical though. Maybe you could invent easier to use ones"

Oassu nodded nudging Cid gently away from his food as he came to investigate "Well I'm sure all those centuries of noble upbringing won't have had no effect on him, I've got faith he'll be fine in the long run" he said wrapping some of his own noodles "I'm sure he'd say something if he felt Alpha was really out of line" he said beginning to eat.

Gil raised an eyebrow "Well that's a surprise, but in any case I plan to take extra special care of you since you are such a lovely woman" he said reaching out to gently stroke her face as they walked "Though this must be the 3rd change of direction you've had" he chuckled whistling to Enkidu to turn back.

Mr Bartlby emptied the back of gil onto an ornate set of scales and examined the amount "Yes indeed this should do nicely thank you" he said tipping the majority into his till whilst putting some back in the bag to return to Hebal. "If you like we can deliver these dresses to the ball later on if you like, save you carrying them all day? We send out many dresses before the event anyway" he explained.

Zadina staggered slightly from the sudden hug but gladly returned it "Oh well I enjoy helping you out, don't worry besides I need to be good at protecting you if I'm going to be your guardian" he said happily "Still I could have a look but I'm not really sure what could be done about it, I could counteract the lack of magical talent in the user with an enchanted object I'm sure but that would just increase the cost of the whole set-up" he said thinking.

Felina wagged her finger at Cid the moment he had turned to her food seeing as Oassu already said something "No no Cid you don't want to have noodles, you couldn't chew them properly" she laughed placing down a small carrot from her bag to keep him entertained. "I would hope so but a young elf entering puberty is a really important for character developing so we have to keep an eye on him. You know when my parents thought I was starting to like boys they wouldn't let me go within three meters of the male palace staff until I was around Corella's age" she recalled with a snicker,

Satoshi shrugged "Well I don't usually even have to think about stocking my place with food and it is kinda important so if you can try not to complain then I will get you something nice to eat later too. Though why the surprise? Some people just aren't good at relationships"

Amane gave the store owner one last bow before skipping down the few steps "Unlike mum though I am not the master of improvising the dance moves and I think I got two left feet from my dad who I heard was quite clumsy from what little mum told me about him. Not that I will ever get to meet him since... well its just culture curious as I get" she whispered back.

Hebal smiled jumping over the steps and into the streets "Well guys now its time to make sure that Jeckhart has himself a nice fancy suit to the ball too though nothing as fancy as what we have. Sort of smart but not designer maybe?" she suggested looking at Jeckhart for ideas. "Know anywhere good Zadina?" she asked skipping around Jeckhart.

Oassu watched the little blue light curiously "Well perhaps later but I'm feeling ok for now, got plenty of energy, it's your sister who will need it more I think since she isn't used to trekking through the forest" he said continuing to eat his noodles.

Gil nodded "I suppose you are right though as a mercenary I don't especially have a home myself so it's not really that much better" he said bashfully as Satoshi almost tugged him along "Still its not like Ninja where you are given regular jobs at least I can pick and choose my work" he said.

Zadina giggled giving Merric a quick cuddle feeling him shiver inside his robes "Well you have a long life, I wouldn't put it off yet perhaps you might meet him sometime" he said petting Amane's ear gently "Still yes lets try and get Mr Jeckhart some clothes, though I'll admit I don't know many other shops for it that would be open, it was always my mother or father who took us clothes shopping and they insisted on this shop," he said gesturing to Bartlby's "Even then most of the times they sent the servants to do business but the Market might have something nice I suppose" he said

Jeckhart nodded smiling slightly watching Hebal hop around him "I am not a wealthy man Lord Zadina, please the market will be fine, even if it's not a suit necessarily but just smart it will suffice" he admitted not wanting to cause a fuss.
