Keo growls again softly and continues grooming her son. He lolls in the grass and purrs loudly.
You oversized cub! Isn't it about time you started washing yourself?
He yowls and cuffs Keo's ear playfully, then rolls on his tummy and grins cheekily at her.
But you wash me so well Mama! Why pass off a grooming from you, when my own grooming sessions take longer and don't clean me as well?
She growls at him, grabbing his head and trapping it under her paw to clean his ears properly for him.
Perhaps I should wash you the way I used to. Dump you in a cold brook.
Kit snickers, knowing she wouldn't, and holds still for her.

*a jet-black portal appears, suddenly a wave of black flames springs forth from out of the portal, a dark figure can be seen within the flames, the flames soon fade, leaving him standing where the figure was, but her looked different, he was taller, his build was larger, his black hair had silver highlights in it and his eyes, they were pitch black, his puples silver, his eyes had this look to them, the look of a dragons eyes*

Keo growls softly in her tree, draped across Kit. She whines a little and turns her eyes to the sky, waiting for Spike to come home. Kit however, continues to sleep.
