I think she'd be a house mother. You know, those ladies who run a whore house. Hmmm I'm getting in the shower right now let me think about it. It depends on which personality we want to play with and who she's with. If she's with Selina and Harley I can totally see them as outlaw whores/burlesque women. Even seen the movie Bad Girls with Drew Barrymore? Bad Girls

So it's clear slag and i worked out to have his character killed off by Roy in the old west rp. We already arranged for it to end that way.

Well Selina said she would be a Saloon girl if Ivy was one with her. Since you're so set on the Ivy/Nightmare relationship, she can unofficially adopt him after he decided to go out exploring one night and finds her brothel.

Damian is so nice in the old west version.
1880 Damian: Pets the circus tiger. "I have my moments."
Other three Damians point at the tiger. "Mother I want one!"
Off to bed.. see ya

Would everybody still have their powers?
I can see Nightmare causing trouble with her ladies and them calling her out.

Probably not, everyone is pretty much normalish without powers... well so far.
The Nightmare of 1880 is an orphan in a Circus Freak Show that is called Red, he's still scaly with wings, tail, the works. He's shy, timid, and easily startled by strangers. He could sneak out of the train while everyone is alseep and goes to explore the new town.
He passes by Pam's Brothel that night and is awestruck by all the pretty women and when one of the brothel patrons tries to rough up a girl, he tries to be the hero and save her but just ends up getting his a** kicked. Pam could come in and kill the guy causing trouble with her girl and that girl can tell her home the stranger (Red) tried to save her, and Pam brings him in to nurse him back to health.

Well isn't Nightmare's looks his powers? How could he end up the way in that period when science is nowhere near as innovative or advance?

1880 Nightmare isn't super strong or anything, he's just born different. He wasn't a science experiment or anything, its just a big mystery on how he came to be since he was found like that as a baby.
Hell he could be an alien or baby demon sent to Earth like Hellboy *shrugs* I haven't figured it out yet.
Red peaked out from his room "I'm not demon am I?"
No Red, you're not really a Demon, or an Alien.

I actually kind of imagined a way for that to work. It's like American folklore. In his case it'd be something like the Jersey Devil.
Match doesn't have an easy American folklore counterpart.

You're reaching out that box kiddo but Nightmare wouldn't be Nightmare without his signature physicall appeal. :p
I was thinking that Ivy would still deal in poisons and toxics but more in an executioners sort of way. Needles and vials and what not, which cause people to spread rumors are her being some sort of witch or something.
Since she's living the whore life she could have picked up her trades from the men she's been with.

*shrugs* pretty much.
Though all Pams would want 1880's Nightmare to be their ward.

"I don't know...Eric has broken my heart but... I do love his smart a** mouth sometimes."
Hmm I don't know if I would want Pam to teach him to toughen up so that he can scare away the riff raff, or if she's keep him just the way he is and do the scaring herself.

I don't know if he'd want to toughen up, he's very non-violent, easily scared because he's so used to people being scared of him naturally. I mean, if someone threatened Pam or one of her girls, he'd try to protect them, but he'd get his a** kicked since he's not much of a fighter.
Nightmare groaned "does your heart even work any more in the conventional sense?"
Red inched closer to Ivy holding out a flower for her "y-you're very pretty." He said shyly as he tried to keep his coat tightly clung to his body to hide his horrible appearance from the pretty green woman.
