She folds her hands on her lap and looks out the window again. Conversation with Richard is tough!
The coach drives on, and eventually comes upon a large white house. It's wood and is reminiscent of those big old plantation houses you might find in Nawleans. It has a wrap-around porch and is surrounded by a carefully tended flower garden. Behind the house is a large fenced off area that's full of chickens, pigs, and goats.

She walks around to pay the driver and take her luggage.
The driver tips his hat again and smiles at them. "You folks take care." Off he goes!
