Luthien nodded. To some, surely, her name would sound a little interesting. Yet there wasn't a name in the world that didn't sound strange to someone. "Indeed. You name is a little foreign to me." Her ears flicked in interest as she sat there, still looking him over. Her thoughts drifted to names as they shared each other's company. Willow, a very simple name and also that of a tree. Dargeael, a Faerie's name and one that sounded a bit strange to her. The only other name she knew was Luthien, her own, so she pondered no more.

Garland nodded his head slowly, confirming Kaie's assumtion.. He was very much unused to company.. "Yes.. my only company and friends since I can remember have been the trees of the forest.." not that he would give them up for anything.. The words they speak with the help of Wind, the feelings they portray in their very being.. Garland could understand them all with naught a second thought.
His right paw brushed lightly at the soil peeking through a portion of the snow that had already melted.. Much like some would run their fingers through a thick carpet.. or even a fur rug as they lie before a fire.

A half-smile crept it's way unto the faye's lips, as she replied.. True as her thought, Dargeael knew the same.. Though, his name would sound foreign to most others he would ever meet.. "As true as it may be.. a name is just that which others identify individuality. Though for some, the name may hold a certain, special meaning.."
Changing the subject... "How is it you yourself do not know many others?" Of course, the same could be asked of him.. but his explanation had already been granted..

Luthien nodded then looked to the side and watched as a leaf fell then twisted in the wind. "True. Though I have yet to know one that does." Her ears twitched once more as her thoughts drifted to different topics. Trying to keep from losing herself in thoughts, she answered his question, "I came to this forest not too long ago. Willow is the only Fluffy I've spent any time with.. and now you of course. No one has crossed my path until you. Since they don't cross my path, I don't seek them out. Why should I?" With that last statement, she realized she was rambling and being a little rude. She sighed at her stupidity yet said nothing to excuse herself.

The faye remained silent as she spoke. His tial flicked the air only briefly, and his chest seemed unmoving.. If not for the small whisps of condensed moisture in the air.. it would have been impossible to tell he was even breathing at all. This way he remained, the blinking of his eyes taking much longer than any normal cat would be comfortable with.. at least.. until she had ceased talking..
"I have always sought out others.. though see me they did naught. In trees I hide, in shadows I await my moment.." A grin began to tug at his lips before he continued. "Unsuspecting are they, to be prey to my game. Jump and dash and bob and weave, these victims of mine do so amuse by antics of searching for he whom play pranks.."
A chuckle rose in his throat, thoughts of times of his most amusing of toys. "I take entertainment in pranks we play.. such is the faerie way."
((Meanwhile I'm going to go ponder where the hell all that came from.. Think Dargeael decided to be serious in his posts finally..))

Lucifer stroke Fujiro's arm and nuzzled the top of her head. He relaxed into the couch holding her close. Watching the movie he munched on popcorn and purred softly.
" you love the forest" she spoke in a fond voice. she understood somewhat. the forest was home to many creatures and it was her home as well. " It's very beautiful" she looked out at the lake and had a thought ful look on her face. ( heh, my brain will kick in soon enough to where my post will be good hopefully! )

The elemental let his eyes search his surroundings a fond glance at each tree as they would wave to him with the wind in their branches to give them a voice.. His gaze found their way back to Kaie as she spoke, nodding softly.. "Yes.. the forest is..." he paused in thought.. Part of me.... though what he really said was "Very dear to me.."
Both his thought and his words were very true.. and he knew if danger were to ever befall the Greenkay, he would rise to protect it and those that would dwell within..

The movie finally reached the part with Lucifer the striped cat. "Oh, sweetie, I never knew you were in a movie! You're so handsome!" she winked and laughed cheerfully.

" I believe the forest is dear to those who live in the forest." she spoke the truth. " if anything was to happened to this land many would die.." she turned her head to look at him.

With a small nod, Garland glanced down at his paw, the one brushing lightly over the ground. True as her words were, he also knew she didnt yet realize the way he'd meant it.. though he was perfectly fine with that.. He was yet unsure how others might react if they knew...
"...I would do all I am able to keep that from happening.." barely speaking above a whisper.... There had to be others like him.. but where?... He knew not.. though, he was fairly certain they would know one another upon sight..

Nearra_Sinshi Ares nodded and took off in the opposite direction. His family was boring, especially Aphrodite when she was around a male. Sighing, he decided to look for Hera, the only one of his family who he would always enjoy being around.Athena looked around the tree as she arrived at it, "Eventis!?"She called, the paused to look around, "Eventis@?" She called again, hoping he would hear her and come out to see her. Excitement grew in her voice as she spoke.Aphrodite smiled again and slowly followed behind Adish, still slightly not convisinced that he was not hurt. she flexed her buttefly wings and looked around at the scenery, something....just something seemed out of place, but what?
