Kubain *looks at the ships, then back at john* these ships were not meant for retreating....that is a sign of weakness...these ships were meant for fighting...for defending i didnt say anything about retreating, and besides, u only have three, i just think we could use more boats just in the case that we need more supples, and if in any case call for back up, its in the matter of the since of just having them their cause i usally becomes useful

alright, just as long as we have more longboats in the future, kinda exercising my commanderness, due to the captain, first and second mate are on an absence.

you may be the crewmaster, but i am the bo'sun. These ships are my children and i will handle them how i please.
if we were at war and we did use them to call for reinforcments, then they would be blown out of the water trying to escape....i wouldnt make that a risk...

but u said u were using them for fighting and defending, they have the same risk of being blowen down, dont you think?, and also, i wasnt telling u how to built them, thats why ur bo'sun, i just make sure everyone is doing there job in the absence of the captain, 1st and 2nd mate, u should know how it goes and plus i have to deal with the crew members cause of being in the mist of war, and train them for war, if they were to ever show up..., their should be no worry, im not doing your job, im just making sure you do.

We need to ready the ship for war. We need to mend the sheets, need to fit the Lady with new guns... we even need to dry dock the Lady so we may lay some new tar on the hull. We also need to replace the foreyar'arm. It's rotten and has been neglected for far too long.
RAISE THE SPRIT'SAL. STOW THE GUNS. WE MEAN TO NOT SCARE THE LIVING BEJESUS OUT OF THE CIVILIANS. We might need them to see to our wounds when all is said and done.
