Jak whimpered a little, his eyes tearing up. "Jus hold me....so cold.."

Mikey shifted to lay down beside Jakkin and wrapped an arm around him, pulling him close he whispered "It'll be okay.... you'll be okay..."

Jak lay tense, the events of the day gradually giving way to sleep as his tighly wound body absorbed the slow steady rythym of his friend's breathing.

Though he wasn't particularly tired Mikey didn't want to disturb Jakkin, since he was nearly asleep, so he lay there quietly and waited for his friend to drift off.

Unconsciously slipping a hand into the one draped over him, Jak drifted deeper into sleep, the heartbeat at his back easing the ache temporarily.

Mikey carefully kicked off his boots, doing his best not to move enough to disturb Jakkin. Once he was sure Jakkin was asleep, Mikey slipped his hand from beneath Jak's for a moment to remove his glasses and set them on the bedside table. He carefully put his arm back around Jak as soon as he'd set the glasses down and hoped that he wouldn't stir. After laying there quietly for quite a while, he eventually drifted off to sleep.

Sleeping late into the morning, Jak stirred slightly. His sleep-fogged mind registering the warmth of another body behind him, a strong male arm slung loosely over him, he shifted closer. "Mmmm. Morning love..." he mumbled with a small smile, eyes still closed.

Mikey had already been lying there awake for some time when Jak finally stirred. "Morning... feeling better today...?"

The voice unexpected, Jak shifted, struggling to push his hair from his eyes, wincing at the sudden throbbing in his head. "S-s-suru...??"

"Sorry but no, love...." Mikey said as he reached over to get Jakkin's glasses and hand them to him. "I'm going to go get you something for the awful headache that I'm sure you're starting to feel right about now...." he said before moving to stand.

Jak moved to sit up, falling back with a groan as memories of the previous night began to seep in. "Mikey....h-hii..." Shoving his glasses on gratefully, his cheeks reddened as he realized where he was.

"Hi..." Mikey said with a smile before heading into the bathroom for a moment, he returned with a glass of water and a bottle of pain killers "These should help your headache..." he said as he held the glass and bottle, out to Jakkin.

Swinging his legs over the side of the bed, Jak accepted the glass gratefully, opening the bottle and downing some pills.
"Mike..? I...we....?" He struggled to remember exactly how he had ended up in Mike's bed as he handed bottle and glass back.

"We didn't do anything..." Mikey said as he sat the glass and bottle down on the bedside table "You were drunk when I found you in the woods... I brought you back here to sleep it off...." he continued as he moved to sit down on the edge of the bed, beside Jakkin.
