Ryou stirred slightly, feeling the weight on the couch shift as Malik sat down. He reached forward and ran his hands gently over the fabric, and was able to tell it was like his own. That explained the sound of disgust that came from Bakura. His mind dwelling on presents, he remembered that his yami had gotten him a present. That normally meant he'd have to get Bakura one back. He seethed with hidden anger at the thought of Bakura, but turned towards where Ishizu was sitting besides him. "Ishizu..." He said slowly, his voice lacking anything. It was hollow, hopeless. "You kept saying how you felt bad about not getting presents. I need to go buy something myself. We could go down to a store together."
Khalid arched an eyebrow, shivering at the utter blankness in Ryou's voice. If those two went to a store, somebody would probably have to go with them. For proctection. Khalid thought that he was being a little paranoid, but they were the weakest Millennium Item holders. The eye and tauk couldn't fall in the wrong hands, and besides that Ishizu or Ryou would probably get hurt. Before he could speak up, the pharaoh cleared his throat, looking over at the couch.
"If it's not too much trouble to you two, I'd like to go as well." Atem said briefly, thinking along the same lines as Khalid. He ignored a sharp glare from Bakura, keeping his eyes on Ryou. Besides the fact that Ishizu and Ryou were most likely the weakest as Khalid had thought, it wouldn't be a good idea to leave Ryou under Ishizu's watch. It wasn't that she was careless, but Ryou would be able to slip away if he wanted to. Somebody else would need to keep an eye on him.

She nodded "There should be a store open somewere." Kira then smiled "I'll go with you guys."

Ishizu blinked, feeling chills on her spine from the tone in Ryou's voice. Her expression softened, and she patted Ryou's hand gently. She paused a moment after Atem and Kira's comments, then nodded her head. "That's all okay. The more the merrier, unless Bakura's with us." She shot a quick glare over at the said tomb robber.

"Hey!" Bakura protested across the room, his mood lightening at once, as though the argument between him and Atem never happened. Or anything ever had happened, at that. The look shot at him from both Atem and Khalid made him clamp his mouth shut with a growl, folding his arms again over his chest and leaning against a wall. "I'm not all that bad."
Atem looked at Bakura in disbelief. This was like the mood he had been in when Yugi and him had run into the tomb robber outside. If Bakura did come, maybe it wouldn't be all that bad. He turned tpwards Ishizu to say something, but his gaze lingered on Ryou for a moment. No need to have those two close to each other; a break away from Bakura was needed dearly for the boy. "You just stay here. Don't destroy anything, don't eat anybody, and I think you'll be fine." He said, shaking his head as he went over to Ryou to help the boy to his feet.
Ryou felt Atem grab his hand to get him up, and he struggled slightly away from the pharaoh, getting up on his own. He was silent as he figured out his location in the room in his mind, and guessed where the front door would be, unsteadly walking over to it.

Kira thought for a second then sighed "I'm staying here.I dont trust him in my house alone." 'I'm lucky he hasent found my goldfish yet..' she thought.

Mokuba's face turned red to what his brother had said. "Oh......." He said barely able to speak. He shook his head getting things out of his head. Mokuba turned his face away from his brother so he didn't see his face. "S-so....that.....means....you...gotta....k-k-kiss.....me........?"

Seto gazed over at Mokuba, meeting with the back of his head of course. His own face seemed to change shades at the very thought. He was not sure how to answer the question. It was tradition to do so, but he did not have to do anything. Not to mention the fact that this was his little brother, the one that shared his very flesh and blood. His body did strange movements in his nervous reaction. Scratching his face, tapping his feet and his breathing seemed to pick up its pace.
The kitten in the youngers lap just mewed happily at his elder owner. It's large green eyes peering into his blue. It was as if the kitten was telling him that he was alright with them kissing. Yet of course, it was only an animal, its opinion meant nothing. If people ever thought anything, he could loose the company, or worse and be thrown into a prison away from Mokuba. It was not only morally wrong, at Mokubas current age, it was also against legal laws. Also the very thought made his stomach chern. But with sudden thought, his feelings altered slightly.
Who was going to know, the only one watching them was the little kitten. And it seemed to be only pushing him more to do so, as if giving a smile of assurence. He glared at the kitten, it was not helping his inner quarrel. He turned his attention back to Mokubas head, his eyes gaining the sence of tranquility in their orbs. Compressing the lumps in his throat on the road to his stomach. Opening his mouth cautiously to speak, breaking the awkward silence.
"Well..tradition says yeah..But I dont want you to be unconfortable with this. So if you dont want to..it's alright. And if you want to..I'm fine with that." he blurted out without much thought.
Through thinking over his words, he wanted to hit himself. If Mokuba got freaked out over that statement, he may have done just that. He wondered how he could have let that slip out. His lids latched together in a rush, leaving his breaths caught mid center of his throat as he waited for Mokubas reaction.

Mokuba face grew redder. He knew it was wrong. his brother could get taken away from him then he would have to go back to the orphanage all alone this time. Yet he loved his brother more than he should. Mokuba's face seemed to be going back to its normal color but was still clearly red. Mokuba turned his face to Seto when he finished speaking. "Well if its a tradition then its ok with me!" He said with a smile as his eyes met Seto's.

His eyes opened looking at his brother shocked, he could not believe Mokuba was actually willing to do it. Then again, Mokuba only saw him as a older brother. He did not have the same sick feelings as he did, so of course it would not matter to him. Siblings always kissed on the lips as a greeting or for a departer, a small peck was all that was needed. Though he would get a completely different feeling then Mokuba would get, it would look suspicious if he denyed doing it now with Mokubas approval.
"Alright.." Seto whispered.
Snaking his hands around Mokubas body to place the kitten on the couch. With Mokubas waist free, he took ahold of it to turn him around. Now the younger boy was facing him head on. Their eyes level with each other, Setos hands still lingered on his brothers hips. His gaze softened as he began to loose all concern and worries. Mokubas gaze seemed to sooth him, yet erge him further into all of this. One hand reaced its way to his brother face, taking it gently in his hand. Setos expression was much more loving then it had been for awhile. Showing more emotion as his heart picked up its stride. But with to much delay, it would be obvious, so he had to hurry. Leaning in, allowing his lips to meet his brothers.
The kiss lasted longer then a simple peck, but there was a lot to make up for. Much love he had to show for all the times of neglect, all of the hidden feelings he was forced to hide for years. All of his love seemed to pour warmly through the sensitive skin as the sparks flew between them. Once he regained control over his brain, he pulled away slowly and smiled. Smiled as if it were nothing at all.
"Merry Christmas Mokie." he whispered, uttering the nickname that for a long time went unsaid.
Though he tried to hide how he felt from their kiss, those stunning bertrayal of eyes gave everything away.

Mokuba wraped his arms around his brother's neck getting closer to him. What he had thought what was wrong seem so wonderful to him. Mokuba pressed his lips harder apon his brother's. When Seto pulled away Mokuba layed his head on his brother's shoulder his breaths hit Seto's neck softly.His heart skiped a beat when he heard what his brother called him. "You haven't called me that since that day....." He said. It hurt him yet he loved when his brother called him that. His head lifted looking into the eyes of his brother. He could tell in them how he felt. His own showed the same.

Seto smiled softly as he looked at his brother. He could read Mokubas eyes easliy, his brother loved him too. Though this did not make anything better, he could not love Mokuba openly this way. It was wrong, and Mokuba was just probably mixed up in all the confusion of this sudden affection Seto was showing. His brother was only soaking in thye love he was providing after times of neglect. Though he felt Mokuba was confused, he knew he was not. This feeling had been haunting him for years now. And this kiss may have been the biggest mistake of his life.
"Guess this holiday does have an effect on people ne?" he chuckled.
But his eyes went troubled as he looked into Mokubas eyes, maybe this was just a one time thing. But his heart seemed to beat faster as his brother remained this close to him. His hands lingered on his brothers small frame. Though he was not going to be able to do this in public, there was a possibility to show more affection to Mokuba. Of course he would refrain from taking his feelings to the extremes. Laying his forehead against his brothers as he let his eyes close contently.

(Can I be Ryou's dad? I'm not sure what his name is... Mr. Bakura, I guess. It's just temporary, unless I decide to do more with him. )
"I wouldn't do anything," Bakura protested again, not wanting to be watched like some child. "I won't have any fun. I'll come with you people rather than be with Girl." He still called Kira that, though he knew her name.
"No, you just stay here," Atem said, shaking his head. "You can find something fun. Like cleaning. Can you clean, or will your hands burst into flames?"

Ishizu sighed lightly; it was out of the question to leave Bakura alone. She still wanted Kira to come with her, though. Ishizu was bursting to tell somebody about Khalid nad her, and was overcome with a bout of girlish behavior. She wanted to talk with Kira, but if she was staying here...
"Oh, c'mon." Ishizu said to Kira, looking at her with a half-pleading expression. "Yugi, Khalid, and Malik will be here, so Bakura wouldn't really be alone. I'm sure nothing will happen." She pleaded, clasping her hands together.
