Merc nods as he rids himself of the rest of his clothes and pulls his pajama pants on. "Just lost all my energy is all."

He looks at the catboy skeptically... at least until he takes his clothes off, then he turns to look away, "Aa, well... I'll just go read in the kitchen until I'm ready for bed, so the light being on doesn't bug you then."
And he retreats back into the other room.

Merc throws himself on the bed in utter frusteration. He knows he won't be able to get to sleep but staying in the same room as Seth was driving him mad.

It doesn't take more than 15 minutes before Seth is tired enuogh for bed, between his vigourous practice earlier today and the cathartic beating of the wall after the business meeting. He takes off his shirt in the kitchen and throws it with the rest of his dirty clothes in the main room, then gets into bed, under the other blanket than the one the catboy is using. He rather hoped he hadn't offended merc somehow, althuogh for the live of him he couldn't think of how.

Merc is still awake as Seth crawls into the bed and he tries very very hard not to groan at the proximity but fails utterly. He covers his head with a pillow quickly thereafter to his his embarrasment.

Seth hears the groan, and sits back up. He doesn't know what wrong (or won't admit it), and says, "I'm bothering you, I'll go somewhere else."

Merc sits up as well. "It's not you Seth, this is entirely my fault." he says, catching Seth's arm before he can go anywhere.
