Hey, you guys should check out the link in my sig. My friends and I started a writing shop the other day and I'm trying to get the word out. If you're interested check it out. And feel free to make any suggestions as well to me on pricing and things like that to help improve the shop and I'll run them by the other co-owners.

stare I'm having some computer troubles. After several months of no problems, my new solid state hard drive may be crapping out. My compy has crashed twice today, and both times when it rebooted the SSD reported that only half the drive was working. I turn the compy off and then back on it goes back to normal. This is NOT cool. crying

Soultrain So you guys write the stories, or are you more of an editor in the sense you improve what someone else has written? we actually write the stories. You tell us what you want in the story and we'll write it for you. Makes sense right?

I'm back, sorry for the week absence. Here's what's been going on in Soultrain's world:
1. Computer problems: Yup, that SSD died on me. I was able to back up the important stuff, but it's still been a major hassle. I'm running off of my 500Gb bulk-storage drive, which isn't ideal, but it works. It's taken me so long to get it up and running because of...
2. Work: The company I work for bought one of it's competitors Wednesday. We got all the equipment, all of the inventory and whatever machinery that's left after the 7th. The property was leased, so we have 30 days to clean it out. There's been probably 50 truckloads come down so far, and it all has to stay separate until after it's processed, which won't happen until after the new year due to the annual inventory in two weeks. The good news is they hired on more people to help, the bad news is they could have brought on twice as many new people and we'd still be behind with all that's going on. I worked a full shift today, and will probably tomorrow as well. No weekend for me. crying
3. Dentist: To top it all off, I went to the dentist on Monday to have a little work done, nothing major. Before he began I mentioned a sharpness in the back of my mouth. I though I had another filling come out. NOPE! One of my wisdom teeth had BROKEN and had to be pulled, which he did. Have you ever had a tooth pulled? The sounds it makes are terrifying, but surprisingly it didn't hurt much, and though I got drugs for the pain, asprin has been enough. Still, the whole experience has been unpleasant.
4. Cat: You know what the icing on the cake of all this is? My cat had to have surgery Thursday to have a cyst removed. cat_crying

That sucks. I'm in the process of building my computer but with bills and getting a newer car and losing my job I haven't made much progress. Good news is a was only off a week before I replaced my job with another. The pay is terrible but with my second job I still make decent money. Oh yeah, I'm also getting a new kitten next Sunday. Purebred bluepoint Siamese. Supposedly they are the smartest cat breed but also the most talkative so things will be interesting to say the least.
