I'm making two new characters. How does that sound? Pdragon, should I bring back Ayaka? Definitely bringing back Leviathan in the future. Or maybe in a week.

The fairy held her hand in the light, afraid to melt, like snow and spring.

Ivory sighed inside the doorway of the infirmary. It was nice to get out of view. Aerith strolled in ahead of her, glancing around the large infirmary. She called for someone, a person named Plus. The doctor on staff, she presumed. A spike of anxiety made her breath hitch once. How was she going to ask him if they could use the infirmary to talk. It sounded so silly.
She didn't have time to worry about it for long, though. There was a faint whistle of wind, and suddenly a presence took up the side of Ivory that Aerith had left to search for Plus. "Ivory, are you okay?" a boy asked. She whipped her head around, and stared face to face with Maro. Not realizing he'd come to her aid earlier preceding the incident, since she'd been blind with panic and oblivious to her surroundings, she sloppily pushed him in the armpit and took two steps back the other way, her breath coming out quickly. All the blood rushed to her face, making her as red as a tomato. I'm fine," she snapped. It would have been convincing...had she not snapped. She didn't usually snap. Nor did she usually tremble all over and jerk weakly towards one of the infirmary cots before she collapsed. She put her head in her hands and heaved a great big sigh, calming herself.
"Alright. What happened?" Ivory heard a new voice inquire. That must've been Plus. Aerith had found him. She sank lower into her hands, hoping Aerith would give her an excuse.
She did. Ivory's faith in Aerith paid off tremendously when she did the chore of asking for a room, and politely dismissing Maro. Ivory sniffed and leaned out of her hands, breathing the antiseptic air in. Aerith kindly gestured for Ivory to move into one of the smaller private rooms. The girl stood up obediently and wobbled past Maro, without shooting him so much as an apologetic glance. She was in no state of mind to be courteous, to mind Aerith's friend. She shuffled into the smaller room and all but toppled onto the cot.
A sudden thought pinged through her mind. "Oh, no, Aerith," she started, rushing back to the door, bracing herself with both hands on the doorjamb. Her eyes flitted to Plus, then to Maro when she realized the doctor wasn't some errand boy. "Uh-um, I...could you tell the headmaster...I'll be late meeting him...?" she pleaded, desperate. She'd almost forgotten. The thought of losing the opportunity, the privilege had reached through her emotions in time to alarm her of it.

But her white skin flashed in the sun, solid, existing, and astonishly alive.
