DC is a full game isn't it?
Like Episode One for HalfLife2?

Note that I said BFME2: Rise of The Witch King.

Not DC.

I wouldn't call DC a full game, as to make the best use of all it's content on-line you are required to have DoW and WA installed. This is however a waste of precious disk space, seeing as DC will look for other games installed and upon finding those ask for their keys.

HL2 Episode One on the other hand is a stand-alone / full product, not requiring anything else to get the most out of it.

I can't remember where I was going with that either.

Yeah, it is rather the sucky that it requires the other games to be installed.

And thus, making it a waste of disk space. On the one hand it's a way to be sure that ou have the other games, but on the other hand it is utterly useles. I'd demand a patch and scream about it, but I'm not that much in a caring mood.

Do you absolutely positivley HAVE to have Winter Assault before being able to use Dark Crusade? Cause...blech...I'm not sure I like it all that much.

If memory serves, it should say on the case that it doesn't require anything else.

So just put it in and play.

Also, apparently a very good way to get people into 40k.

12 years of poking and prodding my friends to get into the hobby, and I finally move on.

Then ONE NIGHT of Dawn of War and suddenly he's asking his in-laws for Space Marines for Christmas instead of baby supplies. stressed

Which is a good thing, seeing as how it cost thousands of dollars to create and animate, not to mention the many months it took.

I think it has to do a lot with a person's imagination. When I have a little battle going with the minatures, I think of it both as an intriguing strategy game and an amusing show of me little men running around going "OH NOES!!". The video and game just jump-starts one's mind.

Also, I hate Necrons in Multiplayer. Some people are fine with them, but I hate it when people just try to cheese with them. Really bad on small maps.

Oh, and what are some decent Tau tactics for attack? My Fire Warriors seem to die like candy, and expanding my force to include Kroot Hounds and Krootox only does so much.

Yeah tau die too fast for me, and necrons take too long to die for everyone else. I really dont know, just amass as much firepower as you can really fast.
I find Krootox only disrupt and take all the firepower that would be better going at your other valuables, they arent exactly killing machines seeing they only kill one guy per minute.

Yay, Blur! Might I recommend viewing their original shorts In the Rough and Rockfish?
