STOCKFISCH Sure, what sort of issues are you having? If not issues... well, what are ya lookin' for? Well... see, I don't know if I feel like playing a boy. I'm not a boy... so naturally there are certain issues in playing a masculine figure. eek For the most part I've bounced around looking at other people's profiles and roleplay posts that are assume ARE men, in attempt to actually figure out how to roleplay as a... well, as a guy. eek Also... I'm not sure if I feel like playing a character based on a Leech. neutral

You don't have to play as a male, unless you really want to and don't want to admit it. Your secret's safe with me... In all honesty, there's a good balance of male and female characters in the guild so it's nothing to be worried about.

Well I am most certainly a male myself, however I prefer to play the opposite gender. Something I acquired after RPing on other sites and among my friends in RL.
I enjoy it, I think I do it well and most importantly I have A LOT of fun doing it.
However for playing a male character, it truly depends on how you want the character too be. There is nothing a male character can't portray that a female character can, and vice versa (except for having a child... LoL).
Though on that same token, sometimes a male or female character can more readily provide material for a certain character-type. For example, would you be equally creeped out if Wormtongue in Lord of the Rings were actually a female character? Would that "creeped out feeling" be the same or different entirely?
Just some things to think about and I hope it helped a little.
Most importantly, I must stress that there is nothing weird/strange/or even awkward with playing the opposite gender. We are here to write a story, nothing more, and nothing less.

Well yea... I know that. It's just I'm not particularly masculine, so unless I played a gay guy, I don't think I'd be able to pull it off particularly well. ninja
And that still doesn't cover the issue of the leech. eek Maybe I'll just start over... >.<
