Deacon wasn't sure if he should be mildly concerned about how she had to keep reminding herself, or thankful. He certainly didn't want to end up on Cady's menu. Being eaten wasn't on his list of life goals.
"Yes, it was nice of Riley." He agreed, his smile returning. When the ghoul leaned upon the table, he tilted his head to gesture toward a vacant one with chairs nearby.
"Want to sit?" Deacon suggested, figuring perhaps it might be nice for her to get off her feet for a little while. That was, assuming that she wasn't dead set on remaining within arm reach of food.Ravvlet "Oh, sure. You know, lots of food. And people. People that definitely aren't food." Was she salivating a little? Surely not. "And it was so nice of Riley to help us get, erm. Dates, ah ha ha. I'm new here so I don't really know anybrudy- body -yet.""Are you ah, having a good time?" She leaned a little against the table. Talking wasn't nearly as bad as dancing, and the more she talked, the less apprehensive she became. Cady was finally starting to feel a little normal.

"Oh, don't say a word, Mot," She regarded the boil with a soft chuckle, "I'm walking you home, whether you like it or not. Besides, you walked me to prom and that's the first time anyone walked me to anything!" She nodded, turning to look at Mac when he released her hand, pouting at the boil; hey, she liked the feeling of his hand in hers!
"Aww..." She couldn't help but giggle as he went to help Mot out, trying her best not to yawn as she continued to walk towards the auditorium door, tugging on Mot's hand to lead both boils; now that the excitement had died down and the 'issue' between Mac and her had mostly been resolved? She just wanted to curl up in bed under her covers and sleep.
"Now, lets just both of you home!"

It did become apparent even to the horse boil that most of the other students were either leaving to go back to their dorms, or to gamble. Tro wasn't much of a gambling man. He'd found he was better off not betting anything, 'lest he lost something he ought not to. "Dunno 'bout y' all, but 'm thinking we oughta be heading back to our rooms. Unless there's more to this whole Prom thing after the Court got crowned?" He quirked a quizzical, square-root brow at those present. Because, really, Tro had zero clues and zero ideas over what they were supposed to do next.

"Uh, sure! It looks like things are winding down anyway, right? Did you get to try any of the games? I tried one with cards and I ate them and this horrible tentacle thing climbed into my mouth and took them back." Cady shuddered. She'd never met anything that had willingly tried to climb down her throat before - it was usually a matter of force.

Danny had spoken up, and Moure looked over to her, instantly listening to her. She was asking them to quiet down. Moure nodded, pausing to listen to her.
She took hold of his arm, then said they could go together. That was totally fine with Moure. He just wanted to spend some time with his friend. The patchwork nodded, thinking that was an ideal solution to this whole ordeal.
But then Roch decided that wasn't acceptable, and left in a huff. The Runner could only watch him go, still completely baffled as to what had happened. What had Claire said...?
Then, Danny was to the rescue. She said something about maybe how Roch had eaten something bad.
Maybe that was it...maybe...
Moure looked over at Danny, still a bit of a baffled expression on his face. "W-well...would you like to go to the Auction with me, Danny? We should take that path if we do." He gestured in the direction they could go, which would take them the opposite way from the angered Reaper.
Of course, it accidently took them away from Claire, who they didn't realize was crying near where Roch had left from.
Ahh, such is the ironies of life.

Astra didn't mind if the new ghoul cut in on her dance, but it wasn't as if she could object at any rate. "er, sure thing" She barely got out before her prom date had been swept away.
By now many of the other students were departing from the prom, and it seemed that it was going to close shortly. Astra wasn't sure what to do now, so she took to walking back to the refreshments table to get herself a drink while cat had his dancw

He would have seen a soft smile when he happened to chance a glance at her face, one that could do nothing but grow in subtle amusement as he looked away again. Head tilting to the side as if trying to catch his eye again, though she wouldn't force him. She was trying to make things easy on him, for the most part. Shame she didn't know much German, she'd have replied in his native tongue, but her knowledge of the language was very limited. She understood what he said, at the very least. "You're welcome," she offered kindly, twirling under his arm again before laying her hand back on his shoulder as they came together again. Frowning at sadness that seemed to have leaked into his voice when he spoke that softer bit. Had she said something wrong? Perhaps not. The frown smoothed away again after a moment, and the set of pale features in neutral lines was quite refreshing. Odd as it was, his usual scowl sort of fit him, but she had a feeling a smile would suit him better. It was only a matter of inspiring one. "So," she prompted hesitantly. "Are you having a little bit of a better time now?"

Danny grabbed Moure's arm and pulled him towards the door. "It would be my pleasure Mr. Koure" She tipped her hat, copying Moure's motions from earlier.
If Moure was trying to be strategic at all with his path, Danny didn't notice. Danny didn't notice much anyways. She simply thought it was the way out. Which it was. She glanced around the room one more time. Most of the students had left already, but there were still a few on the dance floor finishing up the last song. The lights and dice were still lighting up and blinking out. Slot machines still whirled in the corner.
As she tugged Moure through the door happily, Danny smiled to herself. Prom had been ... fun. Maybe not as pleasant as she would've hoped, but fun. Even if Roch did explode. And Claire had stolen her date. And Moure had lost his arm. Come to think of it, why did she enjoy prom so much? Maybe it wasn't so much all of the crazy things that happened, but the people she got to share it with.
Danny liked this school. It was fun.
On to the auctions!

"Well.. black's a fine color," she replied. Much better than being bright pink. Colette got a close look at the mouse presented to them and smiled. "She's cute. Hello there Merel." It was safe to say some probably didn't like mice, but Colette saw them as small; furry; adorable things. They hadn't done wrong to her yet anyway. Now Scrags on the other hand..
"New?" Colette asked as she looked at both Joachim and Taryn. She really hadn't seen them around at all before, but then again the ghoul knew she didn't socialize very much in the first place and assumed she simply missed their existence in the big school. "Well.. welcome to the academy. It's, uh, interesting at first.. but you'll get used to it." It felt odd saying such a thing, as if she were some sort of elite. How long had she been at the academy? It must have been awhile considering she was a Knob now. Though, Colette had to admit she actually wasn't used to all the oddities in the school, and the field-trips never ceased to amaze her.
With her date's readiness to leave becoming apparent, Colette looked around to see for herself that the prom was clearing out. "Well I guess we should go. Prom is pretty much over... Nice meeting you two," she said and smiled to Tset's friend and her date.
"Now, uh.. whose dorm first?" It was time to get some sleep for this ghoul.

The ebony mouse replied with a soft squeak to the compliments given to her by the two lovely dressed ghouls whom she had been put on displayed for rather abruptly. As the ghoul with the same colored hair as her own approached she started to twist her bow around in her paws watching her carefully. Joachim merely glared at her, the let's play the timid cute mouse trick was rather a new low for Merel considering she was more comfortable in demanding then shying away from others. She was however, still rather cute looking considering she had weaseled her way into coming and invading in the first place.
"Thank you... she is usually a little more vocal than this," Joachim replied as he looked at the mouse and attempted to give both Tset and Colette a smile in the least creepiest way possible. It didn't last long but in his mind it was the effort that counted not the length.
Joachim gave Colette a slight nod as she mentioned the school, "open house was....err very interesting....." Not knowing what else to say about it, though interesting really wasn't the word for it. Being eaten by a plant, clung to by a ghost in panties, and there was that one moment of wearing a skirt he was beginning to think interesting wasn't the word.
As the attention turned to the dying music and the lack of presences of students Joachim returned the mouse to her former position of ruling the top of his head as he waited for Taryn to decide what they would do next.

"We should probably go too..." Taryn agreed, looking up at Joachim before she turned back to Tset. All of the boils looked ready to get back home (oh no oh no oh no...) and the prom really was winding down. "It was great seeing you. We have to get together some time soon!" she grinned to Tset, clasping her hands together excitedly. She had never had a friend over before; it would be exciting!
She offered the other ghoul a hug and waved to Colette and Petro before turning up to Joachim with a more nervous smile.
"Are you ready?"

"Yes, we really must," Tsetsiliya replied to Taryn with an equally happy smile. She accepted the ghoul's hug with one of her own before she offered a smile to her friend's date. "It is being nice to meet you. Please be having a safe trip back to the dorms." She gave the two a wave before taking a few steps back towards their table and tucking the stole around her shoulders. Carefully she lifted the flowers out of the pitcher (delighted to find that they seemed to be doing well enough to make the journey back) and tucked them into their plastic wrapper and returned to her dates.
As Colette turned towards her and Petro and posed the question of where to go first, Tsetsiliya paused in thought. "I am thinking the reaper dorms are closest.." All three of their dorms lay right next to the other anyway, and the road forked right in front of the reaper dorms, so really they could say goodbye at the fork. "But we can be deciding that on the way, yes?" Regardless of location, there was still the walk in-between to do, so the night was not over quite yet. She took one last look at the room around them, trying to remember the details of this night, before turning back towards Petro and Colette. The poludnica smiled. "Are we being ready?"
The closing to a good night.

Ys watched the thinning crowd of dancers with a large amount of warmth and a little bit of wistfulness. A slow dance just wasn't the right place for a lone dancer to be, so she had kept to the fringes to allow the couples unimpeded space on the dance floor. It looked like students were starting to trickle out in pairs and small groups by now, off to more private celebrations in the dorms or around campus. Although she considered following suit, she wasn't sure she really wanted to call it a night at this point, but what would she do instead? Spending the rest of the evening quietly tucked away in her dorm seemed anticlimactic, but she was a little tired after all the excitement and dancing, not to mention that she had lost track of the students she did know. She had been drifting toward the door while she ruminated, not quite aware of her surroundings when she found herself nearly on top of a finned boil's tail. "Oh, I'm ssso sssorry!" She was quite flustered at herself for being so uncharacteristically awkward, blushing a deeper green as she apologized. "I wasss not paying attention to where I wasss going..." She smiled apologetically, still colored with embarrassment. "Ah. I'm Ys, by the way. And not usssually ssso clumsssy." She didn't know where to look now, so she settled on his feet. ((If you don't want to draw out prom stuff, it's totally okay. ^_~ It was just too cute an idea to pass up. And peer pressure, hah!))

"Yes," He replied in a rather happy tone considering the reaper had been waiting almost all night to be able to say so. There was only one minor problem, that was the mere fact that he had to still escort her back to her dorm. "I guess we should head to your dorm first.... I mean..." he replied unsure of how to put it and not seem creepy, "I should escort you to at least the front door of your dorm."

"Alright," Taryn responded with a little nod. She had been fully expecting an escort back to her dorm, but she was also aware that her date was potentially one of the most awkward there. He was nice to have brought it up himself, at least. She certainly wouldn't have. Regardless of their stickiness, Taryn reached out to take Joachim's hand one last time as they walked back toward the dorms.
