As Ryuujin watched his teacher walk effortlessly up a tree he became aware of the fact that not only was Alkaid-san still here, but that relaxed jounin, Kaji, had joined the fracas as well. And he was going to train Alkaid-san as well.

Sounds good. I'm really looking forward to seeing Kaji fight. I've noticed those swords he carried before and i'd love to see them in action. I wonder if I should try and learn how to use any kind of weaponry...

He was about to wave hello to Kaji when he saw a ninja appear to talk to him. He paused momentarily until the ninja left. Again he attempted to attract Kaji's attention but before he could utter a word he watched as Kaji stalked up to Itsuki, whom I also didn't realize was here...huh... and stomped off to talk to her. That was when the yelling began. Despite the apparent closeness Itsuki and Kaji had in the Hokage's tower when he last saw them, Kaji had no problem loudly expressing his distaste with her. Ryuujin, trying to be polite, tried his hardest to ignore Kaji's words but still a few got through. Suna, Kiri, criminal more than once, i believe . He didn't think about what any of it could mean and didn't strain to hear any more.

His old self might have wondered about Alkaid-san being lonely and going over there to comfort her. Indeed, the old Ryuujin probably would have sidled on over to her for some non-Natsu-involved conversation. Instead, he glared down the pellet-pounded tree. Reminding himself that he needed to balance the chakra in his feet, he tested it out experimentally, pretending he was still on the water.

Feeling confident in his skill, he strode right over to the tree. He placed his left foot chest high on the tree, not too delicately but not stomping it either. Pouring the exact right amount of chakra into his feet, he felt the left clinging and squarely placed his right foot parallel to his left. Then, marching like a soldier, he walked high as he could into the tree and sat himself on a strong branch. He figured he would jump back down for further jutsu instruction after his fellow genin (he assumed) learned the tree walked as well-perfectly.

I hate to do this when you just said enough of the OOC, but i got my -3 because it said here that chakra control types, with a teacher, on training grounds, get -3. It doesn't specify teaching profession..but if it means only those with that profession i'll go back and edit it))

Kaji Shunsui

Kaji snapped under her coolness and how she just seemed to take this situation as if it were nothing. Using his superior strength and speed he slammed Itsuki into a nearby tree, caring nothing about rank or social etiquette at the moment, the only thing Kaji seemed to care about was Itsuki's complete lack of a moral compass that their Sensei had instilled in them,"I don't give a ******** about my job or your job right now! You are openly allowing a mass murderer to not only seek haven in our village, but offer him a spot as your 2nd? Have you lost your ******** mind!!!!" Kaji had not lighten his grip one bit and slammed Itsuki back into the tree again, hoping to knock some sense back into her, "I can't stomach this...I just can't! You not only allow him in here, but you promote him up to Sannin over someone who you've know and trusted over the years!?!?! I get I'm not all that powerful, but I was certainly more then enough for you yesterday! And instead of even considering me for the position you go and make a man who has committed Genocide our Sannin!!" It was clear that Kaji's pride was also smarting from having a complete stranger promoted over him, not only that but it was the type of man he despised the most . Slamming Itsuki into the tree a final time before letting her go, Kaji looked down on her with a disappointed look,"I've been the one tending Sensei's grave the past three years...are you sure you aren't the one who has forgotten his lessons.." Venom and Malice was clearly present in his voice, as was disappointment and sadness.

Tsubame Itsuki

As she watched Kaji carefully for his reaction, Itsuki wondered if she was really doing the right thing. Of course she was hesitant since the beginning but for it to end up with her and Kaji in such a heated arguement...it just doesn't work well with Itsuki...'No common ground eh?' His strenght and speed surprised her as Kaji suddenly grabbed her and slammed her into the nearest tree. Itsuki released a low hiss under her breath, unwilling to gasp and show her weakness. At least not now and not in front of anyone who might be watching. 'D*** him and his superior strength...he's so lost it...'

Gaze locked onto Kaji's, the only time Itsuki would shut them was when he would ram her against the tree again. His words made sense but the way he view it was also his own. She knew his personality and the way he was speaking was compeltely focused around his ideals. Keeping her thoughts to herself, Itsuki held her ground and waited for him to finish his rant. As much as she wanted to just cut him off and yell at him, Itsuki knew that it's best to let him release all of his frustration first. 'No matter how much his words are pissing me off right now, I have to somehow keep a clear head about this...to let this get anymore out of hand...'

Breathing somewhat heavily once Kaji released his grip on her, Itsuki opened her left eye and could only glare at him as her back stung from the slamming. 'Jerk...' Wrapping her left arm around her stomach, Itsuki grind her teeth together and her left hand gripped tightly onto her top as she tried to compose herself. Though, it was obvious that it was becoming more and more difficult to do so. "What do you know Kaji?! You weren't the one out there constently facing the blink of death. Sannin's not just all fun and games, I've done things I would gladly not do but I have a duty to my village and I'll do what I have to to make my village thrive! Don't question my judgement, I can, and will never forget what sensei taught me. So maybe you should also remember what he said about trusting your teammates. Better yet, remember his anger management lesson? Anger clouds one's judgement and its obvious that you've lost it Kaji! So don't question me when you keep forgetting the basics."

Obviously, picking at Kaji's weak points at the moment was not the best way to go about things but Itsuki was pissed. Who was he to go and ram her against a tree, in public no less, and to yell at her? She had hoped that they could've at least attempted some sort of civilized conversation but he just had to go and explode on her. His words cut but Itsuki was determined to not let him know. If she did, it would show she was feeling guilty and it would mean she was wrong. But Itsuki stood firm by her decision and there was no way she would give in now. "You say you know me and yet here you are questioning every little thing I do! I'm not a child Kaji! I can take care of myself. You want to hear my reasonings? Then calm down first. We're in public for Kami's sake!" Panting a bit from her yelling, Itsuki turned her gaze from Kaji once more as she tried once more to contain her emotions. 'Hate him...always causing my emotions to run wild...this isn't fair...I don't need this right now...'

Ryuujin noticed that the boy had, like his sensei, climbed effortlessly. However, this time it did not bother him because he hadn't had any problems either. He could keep up just as well as the other ninja. Seeing how the other shinobi had demonstrated another jutsu, he began walking down not, may i point out, just to show off... but he was again drawn to Kaji and Itsuki. The yelling, on Kaji's side anyway, had escalated. Upon seeing him slam the Hokage into a tree, multiple times, he completely lost concentration and fell out of the tree, hitting a few branches as he went. As he stood up, brushing twigs from his hair, he couldn't help but think.

what the bloody hell are they talking about?? I mean come on! To treat the hokage in such a way!

Ryuujin had half a mind to go over there himself, if nothing else but to distract Kaji and make him realize how he was acting. He saw the Itsuki, however, and realized she was holding her ground and it would be disrespectful to interrupt upon her behalf if she didn't need it. So he turned his attention away from them for a second time.

Okay, this technique seems simple enough. I've learned how to manipulate and, albeit on a small level, form water from the air. Shouldn't be a problem. Ryuujin saw the jutsu for what it was. Using the water manipulation jutsu, he would draw water from the air into his palm. The only main changes were that he form specific shapes with them, and give them constancy so they would maintain their function after they left his hand. Ryuujin took a deep breath and felt the water in the air as he performed the hand signs. [1/2]

The water condensed in his palms and within seconds shuriken were in his hands. He felt the flow of the water, contained in their shape with his chakra. He held them for a brief second, then swung his arm back and let them fly, high into the sky. After they climbed as high as they could, they broke apart, letting loose droplets of water fall on his head. [2/2]
