Aquaria drew in a sharp breath from the sting of Garin's words and from a sudden, throbbing pain where her wings had been. At least you can do that right, she thought. I'm supposed to heal people and I can't even do that.

"But no, you think you're the bad one," Garin said and slowly let her go. He quickly turned away from her to hide the fact that he was crying.

Aquaria thought about comforting him, but she was too afraid to. Instead, she threw a solid punch in the wall in front of her.

Garin ground his teeth together, his hands clenching and unclenching. He was feeling so many things at the moment.
