Dai pours an entire box of grits into the pot of boiling water, waits for it to nearly solidify then adds three slices each of swiss, American, cheddar and sharp cheese.

He winks at Stat, and nods to Rager. "They are...I miss southern cooking. Want some?" He is stirring them and they are thick and cheesy. "One of these days, I'll go on a soulfood cooking fit and make my uncle's famous collards." It was too early in the morning for that, though, so he's content with the grits for now.

She gose about getting her plate ready with home fries and waffles and bacon and cheses and berries and a hot oat farle with butter with butter and maple pecan syupr on the waffle and catsup on the home fries and then taps a glass of strawberriy fizz and gose and sits at a table eating.
