"It's quite embarrassing, acctually," she began. "The other night two cats busted the window screen and jumped throught- It scared me to death!" she added. "They knocked over everything!" she said. "I used to have a mirror there," she said, looking at her vanaty. "I finnaly got the cats out and I cut myself cleaning," she added, looking at her hand. Sadness flooded her vision as what really happened played over and over again in her mind.

Tohru's eyes widened. "Then I'm glad you're all right, Tora-sama. You may want to get a dog to help keep the cats out of your room."
Tohru bowed. "Sleep well, Tora-sama."
Tohru walked back to her futon and lay down. So much had happened in one day.
I am on my way to becoming a maiko...and then...a geisha... she thought before drifting off to sleep.

Tora smiled. "Goodnight, Tohru-chan. And, thank you." She herself rolled over and drifted into a rough sleep.

Somehow, that night, Yumeko stumbled to her futon and flopped onto it. She didn't know what exactly about the day had exhausted her so completely. Besides the obvious, she thought. She missed her little brother dreadfully. She sank into sleep.
Yumeko may have spent a lot of time listening to her own thoughts, but she belied her name in one respect-- she couldn't abide sleeping late. Rising early the next morning, she pulled on a fresh yukata, white cotton printed with green chrysanthemums and a red sash, and tiptoed over the other futons on her way to the kitchen. With a flourish, Yumeko pulled cloth strings out of her pocket and tied her long hair back in two bunches. Seeking out the tofu, she set water on the stove and started to make miso soup for the okiya's breakfast.

Walking back in from being in town all day signing up for classes... Hara slipped out of her street sandles and into her slippers... and made her was to the kitchen feeling and little hungery and in need of some hot tea... Being a Makio was going be work... but she was ready for it....as she walked in the kitchen... She saw a girl making soup.... she walked over to the table and took a seat... Then said.... "That smells wonderful.... then continued... I'm sorry I don't think we have met...what is your name"...

Sakura had already eaten. At the moment she was in her room. Of course it wasn't /her/ room seeing a few more people shared it with her. At the moment, as in NOW she was thinking of a name. They said all great Geisha changed their names... maybe hers would be something like... Mikomi, or something extravagant. Something everybody would and will remember. She had borrowed two kimonos from the okiya. It's all she had... Sakura sighed. Now she would have to go to her first class. But that wasn't anytime now...

Seeing as the girl didn't answer her... she got up from the table... and made herself a cup of tea... and grabed a few pieces of bread.... then made her way back to the table and sat...

"I've been thinking of a new name, you know... when we become Geisha, a name everybody will know us by," She smiled.

"Huh?" Sakura blinked slowly. It seemed as if time had stopped. "What do you mean? Your older sister or your younger sister?" Sakura, at the moment was confused. Didn't you have to be Geisha to be an older sister? Didn't Hara have to be a Geisha in order for Sakura to be her younger sister? Maybe the lack of //Active\ Geishas in the house did seem to make quiet the impression.
