It was finished then, he'd just have to report back that he couldn't retrieve any of the items they'd needed and go from there. As for the current situation, it seemed as if the vendor was restraining herself from something, and judging from the way she'd reacted when she saw him (much less, put his arm around her) and how she'd addressed him, it probably wasn't feelings of joy, comfort, or fluffy relief and happiness. He wasn't afraid of her though. He found it hard to fear almost any woman after what he'd gone through being forced to accompany Serra...
He promptly removed his arm from her personal space, not realizing that it had somehow entangled itself and casually started walking away with it.
Fine, then. If you don't want to pay me back now, then that's your decision. I'll see you aro-- Huh? How did this happen? Matthew quickly tried to get the vendors shawl off of his arm, but the stubborn thing didn't seem to want to comply.

Blossom nodded in agreement with Pent. At Alihi's statements, the Knight looked over to her. "We understand," she said quietly, an almost wry smile going across her face.

She wanted to slap herself for how lame her denial was.

Vika coughed. "Thanks, Stefan. I need to get a lot stronger..." She shook his hand before heading back to the house. That apple hadn't sated her hunger much at all. Upon entering, she'd intended to keep to herself, but there was a rather large crowd gathered. She eyed everyone cautiously before speaking. "What...what's going on here?"

"W-what?!" The red of her face that original was anger shifted to embarrassment at Rei's perception of what the "favor" was. She moved as if she was going to shove Matthew off her, but the thief had good timing and had started to walk away. Unfortunately, her shawl apparently wanted to take a stroll with the Ostian spy, as well.
"Hey! Be careful with that!" She quickly resealed the distance between the two of them, grabbing Matthew's arm to stop him from flailing it anymore. "Thats very expensive material, you don't know the trouble I went through to restore that!" Keeping the thief's hand stilled with one of her own, the other hand worked to detangle the delicate garment. " ...Honestly, I can't decided if you're incredibly brave, or incredibly stupid... Do you have picks hidden in your sleeve? It might be caught on those."
She didn't wait for Matthew's answer as she began to check. Though, it could be considered a little strange that she could guess possible lockpick hiding spots. Of course, on the other hand, she sold lockpicks, so maybe she was familiar with the tool.

Rei was surprised at how they had covered all of their bases with that.
"Hey, I never approved it. I just said that I can see that you guys are determined to find him. But, do you really need 6 people just to look around the general area? If anything, you only need maybe 3 or so out of who you mentioned. Blossom has sentimental reasons for looking. Also, you'd only need maybe one other person to carry Aidan, in case he is injured. And you might end up needing a healer, if the guy is THAT hurt. Besides. If you somehow find some morphs, and you're this huge group of 6 people, you might get attacked. Now, if it was only 3 people or so, then they'd have less reason to be suspicious. And the LAST thing that I want is for people to get captured, or even worse, casualties."

Amelia nodded once. "Well... Sue could carry Aidan if he's injured, because of her horse. And Pent is able to use magic staves, so he could perform any healing. And Blossom is able to attack from the frontlines. I'm too slow, I'd probably not be able to keep up with them in full armor." Amelia laughed sheepishly. "So if those two are okay with it, and Blossom would be okay with whatever if it meant being able to find him..."

Alihi pondered Rei's comments.
"... In that case, I think who should go is Blossom, Sue, and Pent. We've got Blossom, who is essential and I trust that she can defend herself. Then, there's Sue, a nomadic trooper, so she can attack from close and afar. Finally, with Pent, we have a healer and a magic-user." She smiled lightly, turning to Rei.
"Does that sound like a good group?"
