Paradox wasn't surprised in the least bit. He walked through the door, sighing to himself. "That's good to hear. The countryside is awfully quiet now, so I wouldn't be trusting anyone at the moment. Even the people can feel the danger in the air." Paradox told her calmly. The forests had been unnaturally quiet lately. It wasn't a good sign.

"then you have herd that her majesty left this morning?" She said stright forward like she thought he would already know but she had to tell him in case.

Paradox stopped moving. "She's gone!" He said, the first sound of surprise entering his voice. He turned again to Dialh, looking at her with cold cold eyes. "Did she say anything?" He asked urgently.

"She left a letter to Zypher saying she was safe thats all." She spoke thinking about the shock she had herd in his voice. "Thats not all though, the night before she was attacked they haven't disciverd by what." She spoke calmly to him. "Something is going on isn't it?"

Paradox glanced around, watching everything moving around. "More than what you think. History is repeating itself, here. The cursed queen, the defeated princes, and the strange happenings are all falling into a circle. " He told her cryptically. His armor screamed menacingly, as he began walking again. Paradox really had to polish it, soon.
The girl, Serenity, walked into the library. She looked around curiosly. Everything around her was new and amazing, but that was not why she was here. She was looking for somebody. A clerk. The Queen's clerk.

Dialh only looked confused. "her highness is not cursed. Fools will always target royality for there own gain." She spoke not believeing in that kind of stuff, at least she tried not to she had been bought up better than that.
Orian sat in the libary at his own desk which was a smaller own near Katherine he held a quil in his hand writeing something. He looked up when he saw the small girl. "Looking for something M'lady?" His dark voice spoke really not ready to amuse her though.

Paradox nodded. "Right. Right." He said absently, as if deep in thought. The general turned a corner and continued walking. The castle could be a maze at times, but he knew exactly where he was going. "If you think about it, Lady Dialh, many things can be cosidered a curse. How would you feel when fools always targeted you for their own gain? I'd consider it a curse." Paradox replied reproachfully.
Serenity looked up at Orian with big puppy dog eyes. She was the paragon of Innocence. The girl didn't look like she could harm a fly. Innocent incarnate. "hmm. I. . . guess so? Do ya know if the ruling family has ever been replaced?" She asked, clicking her heels together. he looked really strong to her.

Dialh looked down when he spoke those words. "Your right I guess, but.. " She paused for a long moment following him on dow then halls. She knew the castle better than probally Katherine did actually. "Is she in trouble where ever she has went to?"
Orian shook his head slightly. "No little one they haven't." He put his quil in the ink well and leaned back. "They were almost defeated once but thats all we know. Would you like to hear about it?.. In fact it is believed that a part of the royal family still might live in Rhina."

Paradox turned another corner. It was the pathway to the caverns. He had posted guards down there since the last incursion. They were private. He would say what he needed down there. "Dialh. I don't know where she went. She never told me." He replied calmly.
The little girl squeeled with delight. "That would be wonderful! Pappa always said that one should learn from history." The girl was so exited that she hopped in place. Serenity found a seat and sat down. She couldn't stop from fidgeting around. Strangely, her bodyguard was nowhere to be seen.

"It doesn't make sense to me why she wouldn't have told you I know why the others but you.." Her words stopped. "I am sorry i am not saying what that sounded like we both know she trusts you." She stopped following not knowing if he wanted her to keep walking with him.
Orian gave a slight smile. "There was a Queen who potched things up name Colleen. She got involoved with a wizard of some sorts at least thats what history tells us. They had one child together a little girl. Thats when things went wrong. " He paused with a smile recalling a story. "some say it was a lovers arguement others say it was over the little girl, but the wizard went into a rage and destruction came to the land and demons as well plauged the realm the queen found a way to sneak the child from Llyr and to Rhina were a lord quickly fell in love with her. They had a son named Theron. Though it was short lived for the wizard killed the girl's husband.. we know very little at this point we know that she met another man though history doesn't say who that she raised a nother boy who was the first Mirza." He folded his hands in front of him. "Theron stayed behinde inheirting his father's titles. Some how the wizard was killed and balance came again. This was a long time ago mind you."

Paradox stopped when she did. The general looked down at the ground. "I was gone at the time. Everyone seems far too trusting of me. Even you." He said, calmly, regretfully. He looked farther down into the place which became the tunnels. "There is something I must tell you. It is important, but we can't have any prying ears." Paradox told her. He continued walking forward.
The girl didn't smile by the end of it. "That's not how it goes!" She cried out unhappily. She was standing by the last word. She sat down as she realized it. "The wizard didn't get mad over love. He was never in love with the Queen. He wanted the child, He loved the child. She snuck out to get the child away and that's what made him angry. She was caught six times, until she escaped the seventh time! She fell in love with the first lord of Rhina, and they had the child. Theron was the first true lord of Rhina, but he dissapeared. The wizard was destroyed by one of his own creations, anyway!" The girl retorted unhappily. She stared at the clerk, and smiled. "At least. . . That's how I know it." She finished.

Dialh noded and followed him she didn't understand what he ment by far to trusting of course they trusted him. They trusted him because Katherine held faith in him. "of course." She spoke following beside him.
Orian smiled some and shook his head alittle. "I would think that Llyr and Rhina do tell it differently but I believe her majesty knows the truth. The girl child, the mother of Theron and Mirza. The one who escaped she goes missing once the wizard is destroyed so it has always been my belief that she killed him." He shrugged abit. "Her majesty did name her son after Mirza who rebuilt Llyr, so you would have to ask her more."

Paradox continued walking into the tunnels. He passed by a sentry who saluted to him, but Paradox didn't respond. Instead, he grabbed the lantern, and continued walking with it, deeper into the caves with Dialh by him.
The girl brought a sinble finger to her chin. "I would've. . . but. . . Mrs. Queeny is gone. Do you tink dat somebody has kidnapped her. It would be easier to take over with Mrs. Queeny out of the way." She wondered out loud. Serenity seemed to be in her own little world.

Orian moved the child's hand away from his face gentally but with some irritation. "My dear girl that won't happen. Plus she won't be gone that long." Then he sighed picking back up the quil. "It is a intersting story. That means that Llyr's royal blood sired Rhina's." He looked back to his work then.
Once they had walked so far were there was no one ahead of them Dialh stopped. "We are far enough away now. I believe you have taken me for quite a hike. Now please what is it?"

The giant sighed. "You would think so, but sound travels far in these caves." he replied. In an instant, his familiar battle hammer was in his hand, swirling like a gigantic baton. The wall resounded with the force of the impact. it echoed every which way, and could be heard again and again. The hammer blow had made a hole where there had been a wall before. It opened up to a crystal cavern. Water dripped from the ceiling, and in the center. . . In the center of the cavern, almost as if on a pedestel, a coffin layed. Paradox walked into the cavern, motioning for Dialh to follow. The air was sweet and pure inside. yet, there was a demonic undercurrent that even mortals could feel.
Serenity smiled. "You haven't been listening, have you, idiot." She whined. Her face was in a unhappy pout, and her arms were crossed. "How would you go about taking over Llyr. First, the royalty would have to dissapear. This is exactly what happened to my dad. Then you would need the help of at least two of the great houses. Then what?" She asked, specutively.
