Khana was still with Luke's arms around her for a good while before she quietly said, "She could have told me." There, she had said it. And yes, she was being a bit childish, and she knew it. Telling her over and over again that she shouldn't be trusted didn't make up for the deceit, especially about her whole attitude. Telling her that she didn't really know her didn't either. She hadn't known her because she had not allowed her too, and that hurt.
She pushed Luke off her suddenly and stood up, then started walking toward the camp.
Luke was patient and prepared to wait all night if he had too, for he knew that she was going to say something eventually. Fortunately, he didn't have to wait quite that long. And as she said, he thought, and there it is! He had been wondering why she had acted that way, and it made sense now. He was surprised when she shook him off and got up. He followed her and ended up walking next to her on the way back to camp. He wondered if Kimmi and Kay had gone back yet.

Kimmi woke up violently with a stifled scream and shoved Kay away from her as she shoved herself forward and threw up in the water. She gasped at the air, taking deep greedy breaths till she stopped shaking enough to sit back.

Kay, after roughly being knocked out of thinking, knelt down beside Pinky. "You okay?" she asked softly, brushing back the girls hair. She was concerned about her. Not just because of who she was, but because she was her friend. One of maybe two she had...

Kimmi automatically pulled the mask in place as she rinsed her mouth with some of the water. She glanced over at Kay with a bright smile. "Just peachy!" She chirped. "Must have eaten something that didn't agree with me."

"And I thought I had bad wake up calls." Kay stated, standing up with a sigh. She hadn't slept at all last night, it had been too stirred by the days events to allow her any rest. But mostly Kay was afraid of what it would do if she fell asleep... What it would do to her friends. "Guess we should get back to the camp. Before Bubbles has an aneurysm." Kay joked, offering a hand down to Pinky to help the girl to her feet.

Kimmi took her hand and pulled herself to her feet. "Nah, he's not as clueless as he seems." She laughed as they headed to camp.

Once back at camp Khana went straight to her tent and upon getting inside, pointedly closed the flap right behind her. She was tired and even though she would sleep easier if she was warmer, Khana wanted to be alone. She lay down under the blankets and pulled the around her, curling up.
She had been fast asleep when Kimmi had called her to help and the exhaustion came back. Surprisingly, it was enough to get her to sleep quickly, usually it didn't matter how tired she was if something was on her mind.
Luke got the message when Khana closed the tent flap in front of him and turned around. He avoided anyone who was still awake, which wasn't many, and wandered around, not sure what to do with himself.

"I hope not. He is suppose to be leading the rest of this crew." Kay pointed out, holding open the gate to the lift. "I'd hate to have a clueless leader who chews gum all day... Wait..." she teased with a smile, closing the gate behind Pinky as she turned to the controls.

"Weren't we all?" Kay asked under her breath, not really expecting an answer as she threw the lever to start the long journey back up the canyon wall. She looked up and sighed as she looked back at Pinky, "This journey was alot quicker when you let me jump it." she stated simply, reaching into her jacket for a cigarette.
