After being separated from Nimen, something Jouten didn't mind in the slightest, he came to Hidden Flame. He didn't know how exactly he'd managed to make it there but he did. He walks around lazily, kicking people that would come too near to him. Normally Jouten would be in a slightly better mood. But after the happenings, or not so happenings, in Hidden Light, he was a bit angry. "Santa isn't a man... not a man at all. He didn't come to fight me, even after I made a big flashy request to him. I will have that jolly, peace loving mortal under my feet or I'll kill whoever else takes him down. That should make me feel... alive." Jouten continues walking, not really aware of where he is at or walking to.

Hearing the mention of Santa, Jouten shifts his gaze in the direction of the muttered name. "Santa... Santa! That's it! Come and fight me Santa! Do you fear me you jolly old man? If not then come down here and fight me!" Jouten bellows, his body glowing. The large man hovers his right hand over the ground but nothing happens. It takes a bit of time, since snow is covering the ground now, despite the rate in which the ground is heating and evaporating the water it converts to, for the bright red color beneath it to show. Some sort of seal splits the earth, flames flicking up from it, a staff end rising up from the split in the earth. He grabs the end of it and rips it up, stirring the dirt below. He adjusts the staff until comfortably cradled in his right hand, the red shine fading. "Fight me!" He roars raising the Staff of the Dead--a long golden staff, with black blades at each end--to the sky before aiming it forward. He rushes in the direction of the source of the voice that uttered Santa's name last.

Once seeing who it was that said Santa's name, he skids to a halt, tearing up earth in the process, then aims it at the mans head. "Where is Santa, mortal? I wish to have a fight to the death with the man that sees peace as something not for some but for all." He would not draw nearer and wasn't close enough to cause too much alarm. After all, he wanted answers.

"How did things end up like this?" Kan asks himself angrily as he walks over to the gates of Hidden Flame. He glances back a little to see Hayai casually following up behind him. The busty woman gnaws on a bit of bear meat, her hair tied out of her face by a silver band, as Kan sighs. His hair, normally tugged back and in a ponytail much like Hayai's currently is, is hanging. His free-flowing, gray hair cascades down his back and even shifts like a girls would as he turns this way and that. His body, covered only by a white, loose fitting t-shirt and denim jeans, is slightly muscular and very pale. His gray eyes, once having fallen on Hayai's form, shift around in the sockets to take a look at their surroundings. On his back, angled oddly since it's a bit longer than Kan is tall, rests a regular katana. Hayai made it especially for him at his request soon after the world changed to a peaceful one. Without his Hidden Katana blade, he felt bare and so he requested his katana be made to be similar to it.

Hayai, covered by the cloak Kan had been wearing in Hidden Night, walks pass Kan to peer into the village. Just when she does, a man makes his way into her way. Clad in thick, silver armor and carrying a large spear, the man eyes Hayai warily. "Please step aside. We are members or the Swords of the Crescent Moon," Kan states bluntly. In hearing the boys words, the man steps out of the way to allow Kan to enter. Even though SCM was no longer, the man remembered the magnificent flame manipulation of the one that took their village over. Anything to help friends of Hikai's, he would do. Soon after, Hayai trots along after him.

"Why exactly are we here again? Hiding? I thought, following you after you tried to make me leave for Spain with the others, I'd find a bit of excitement." Kan sighs as Hayai glares at him. Having finished her meat on a stick, Hayai chucks the piece of wood at Kan. He casually turns on his heels, the stick sailing pass his head, and then turns back around in the same motion. Hayai growls angrily as Kan can't help but chuckle. Before he can react, Kan hears the sound of brick being struck by metal. "If you won't do something fun then I will."

"Damn it! Hayai, stop doing that! This is one of our villages and you're wrecking homes here?"

"It doesn't matter. SCM is no more and so I have no reason not to begin destroying this entire village." Hayai tears off Kan's cloak, his eyes watching in distain as the fabric drifts to the ground. Hayai, breasts nearly bare aside from the parts covered by the white bandana binding them, laughs loudly. She pulls back her arm from within the side of a nearby building, people screaming and running out. Alarms sound and people cry out in fear as Hayai shifts her hips side to side seductively. Even though she knew Kan had unearthly control of himself, she tended to try to seduce him just out of fun.

"I will fight you... just leave this village be." Hayai looks over at Kan a moment before snorting and turning from him. It was too late for him to go and say that. He would only use cheap tricks to dodge her anyway. She would have her fun with this village and its people. Hayai's collar's bell jingles as she rushes over to another building and slams her fist into it. She uses all of her naturally speed and strength to dodge a Kan as he reaches out to grab her. She again slams a fist into another building, and then another, and then she was bored. She pants delicately as Kan glares at her. "I won't hold back anymore. Come and fight me or I'll have to make it so you can't do any more harm to this village."

"Really?" Hayai asks nonchalantly as more people run for the docks. She flickers over to a straggler, grabbing them up by the neck. The man wrestles against her grip but it's too tight. Kan raises a hand to stop her but she clutches him tighter. "Tut, tut, medic. Don't get over your head and come over here. You got me all angry before and now you want to play? No. I'd rather continue to destroy and kill. It's been too long with this peace. This man... I'll kill him." Just when she finishes, she realizes that the Kan she had been looking at and who had been trying to grab at her, isn't the real thing. She glowers at the man in her hands, only for it to be a bit of lumber. She flings it off and to the side as Kan appears directly behind her. He draws back his fist and slams it hard into the busty females back. Her chest is jostles by the force and soon her body flings forward and into the rubble of a nearby building. Coughing is heard but Kan knows that she's far from dead.

Jouten stares at this mortal, this man, speaking about posts and other meaningless dribble. Jouten only cared for him answering in the form of telling him where Santa is. Even when loud crashing and the wondrous sounds of chaos and destruction fill his ears, Jouten does not remove his eyes from this man nor does he move his weapon in the slightest. It isn't until feeling a hand connect with his back that the Anpu takes note of the other people present. He never really liked to be touched but since it was a female, he would let it slide. He could care less for fighting with women. After all, to him anyway, all women were weak compared to the weakest of men. Though, he had seen cases where he was proved wrong. Either way, that would be his reason which would make his perception of the woman that touched him 'weaker than the weakest of men'. "Plans are for the weak," Jouten finally mutters. And yet, he turns and makes his way towards some buildings unfazed by the attacks on the others.

He would enter into the building, the area growing silent for a moment, before shrieks echo from inside. People that had been hoping to remain inside and hide rush out, limbs turn to solid gold, as crashing and slamming is heard from inside. Parts of the building, from the outside, could be seen slowly turning gold. It isn't long before Jouten exits the building and heads to another to do the same thing.



Back where Hayai and Kan are fighting, Hayai is on her feet again and the pair are throwing punches at each other. Strikes miss constantly, there are no surprises between these fighters either. Both seem to predict the others moves, as if they could see each move in slow motion. Back-flipping to dodge a kick from Kan, Hayai lands on the side of a nearby building. She focuses chakra into her feet to remain on the building's side, bringing up an arm to wipe the blood from the sides of her mouth. Kan, scratches here and there on his body, breathes heavily as he stares at the cat. "i though you were going to be serious? You liar," Hayai mocks, pointing a finger at Kan. the boy shrugs, standing upright and breathing normally.

"It'd be a waste to be serious with you. you're not that great without your weapons, to tell the truth." At that Hayai launches herself in Kan's direction. He notes her reaching for a dagger and draws his long sword. the blade slowly slips out of the sheathe, gleaming in the dim light filtering through the clouds above. His eyes focus in on the woman, her body drawing nearer. He slips the katana out to his side and then in front of him. Hayai connects with the sword, the tip of her dagger perfectly pressed into the center of the blunt end of the katana facing her. Kan releases his weapon as Hayai shifts her body to fly around the side of his weapon. He grabs her by the head as she grabs him by the waste. He tugs her into him, his strength greater than hers, and leans backward. He flings her back behind him before rolling until upright again. He touches a hand to the katanas hilt before it can fall to the ground. The weapon, mere inches from the ground, rises as Kan's request.

He sheathes it as Hayai comes rushing up behind him, fainting side to side.
