Kilo followed behind Poke quietly and parted ways with her when she turned down the hall. He would go to the room she was assigned to and destroy it. Make it look like a struggle had occurred. From there he would alert the guards and let them know she was in that area when in fact she was on the other end of the facility. "Good luck." He whispered under his breath. Poke had a long way to go before she would be back where she had been abducted and the harder part would be traveling through the snowy climate of the Frozen Abyss to get there.
The staircase itself seemed normal enough. Steel stairs led about fifteen feet up to a metal door, both of which were dimly lit. What lay beyond that door was a sight of horror to behold. There would be no indication until the door was opened that something was off. A foul odor would be the first sign, hitting anyone like a hard brick wall. Once passed the door the perfect scene of massacre was laid out. Bodies were strewn about the hallway, lab tech and guard alike. Most were torn to shreds their innards painting the walls and ceiling of the tunnel leading to Poke's freedom.
The cold had prevented a great deal of decay but the process was still happening as the flesh began to sag and fall away from the corpses of the deceased. Many were hardly recognizable as humans being nothing more than bloody smears on the wall and a tattered coat. Deeply embedded claw marks in the stone walls were the only clue to the crime. Nothing short of a wild animal or beast could have done this.

The staff member, though small, was apparently no stranger to threats. Even at Hanse's intimidating advance he stood his ground. "Well, I certainly hope that you do leave, and leave quickly. From the looks of it you were never supposed to be here in the first place. There were only supposed to be seven in these two rooms." He eyed Hanse with a quirked brow as he made his threat. Sure he was big enough to carry through with such a statement no doubt, but they were in a public place. Would he honestly risk doing something incriminating in front of so many witnesses? "I would ask that you think before you speak, Sir. Such statements can get you in a fair amount of trouble." Stepping aside he allowed Hanse free reign to leave.
"None the less, I still need to inspect the room. The...barking has me concerned that the rules of this hotel are not being followed." He eyed Yuki through the door, or at least the best he could from his blocked view, furrowing his brow when he made his statement.
Neko laughed lightly, "Don't mind the big guy here he hasn't had his medication today. Just a tad grumpy. But I can assure you there is nothing going on here, no rules being broken."
"Then how do you explain the barking?" The staff member calmly awaited his answer.
"Well....uhh...you see," Neko looked back into the room and then looked to Hitsu......think damnit think! "It was her." He pushed Hitsu forward a little bit. "She likes to play games and pretend." He leaned forward a bit and whispered. "Not quite right in the head but she is a sweet girl." This is so going to get me in trouble.
"So...you're saying the barking was this young lady here?" The hotel staff obviously didn't buy into the act.
"Of course, she was in here running around barking her head off a moment ago...R...right...Hitsu?" Neko looked cautiously back with a pleading look to back him up somehow.

Blade shook his head as Yuki glared at him. He was about to mention something of the one chasing them before, but that was soon answered before he could open his mouth again. Then, he directed his attention towards the door as the hotel staff came to see what all the ruckus was about.
Watching and listening what was going on, he glanced over at Hitsu and nodded lightly, hoping she got the cue Neko had given her. But just in case, he decided to join in on the act.
"Yeah, she likes to pretend she's different animals sometimes," he said while turning more towards the girl before giving a command as if to a dog, "Sit!"

This wasn't expected. Being in a facility such as this she expected there to be cages of people, but instead she smelt something..discusting. Her eyes buldged and she took a step back as her mind tried to make sense of the carnage. The alarm that the mantis man had mentioned had begin to go off so she couldn't linger. Who could have done something like this? her mind questioned. The more she looked the more she felt the need to vomit. poke also noticed the deep claw marks and for a brief moment wondered if the creature that did this was still on the premesis. Trying not to step on any of the remains, poke made her way through the hallway and then made leaps and jumps as she focused on the blaring sound in her ears. Stupid alarm.

Before Riyo had a chance to respond to Yuki, or even continue drilling him, there was an unwelcome visitor. Oh, right. The dog isn't supposed to be in there. Well, crap. Maybe it was time for them to move on anyways. Maybe they should get a move-on and start looking for Poke. Maybe-
They could just lie through their teeth at Hitsu's expense. Riyo's eyes widened as Neko 'explained' the situation. Real bright, Neko. Putting poor Hitsu on the spot like that.
Oh, but that wasn't enough. Blade just had to command her like an animal. Hitsu didn't deserve that! Even if it was an act. And before she knew it, she was in front of Blade smacking him in the face.
She froze, realizing what she had just done. Her brain raced for a way to explain her actions. Faster than the speed of light. "I... Told you.. Not to encourage her!" She mumbled to Blade angrily. "You... You may think it's funny that my little sister isn't like the rest of us as far as mentality goes, but I will not stand you commanding her like an animal!" Her eyes then fell upon the man, or, the audience rather. "Look. I don't expect you to understand, but my sister's mental health has slowly been deteriorating for the past few years. It's hard enough that we have to hear it, but it's especially hard when people like you decide to prod with your hurtful questions!" Now she was into it. Her face was the epitome of upset/pissed off woman. "I apologize for the noise. And if you would like, I can go apologize to all of your poor guests. But I can't say I can do it without crying!" Her voice sounded like it was choking up. She turned back to Blade and used him to hide her face. Fake crying sounds followed.
Atticus just stared. Just... Watched the performance with his mouth slightly open, as if he was going to say something. It was like watching a bad play. Good thing he hadn't payed for it.

Just after he said it, he wondered if he may have taken it a little too far. And Riyo's quick slap to his face only confirmed this feeling. Staring at her, he was about to speak up but then she started to get into the act as well.
"I..er..." he mumbled, then looked towards the staff as Riyo spoke to him, 'explaining' things further.
Before he knew it, the girl was crying onto him, or at least what sounded like crying. Sighing, he patted her lightly as if trying to give comfort.
"Hey... don't cry. I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have encouraged her like that. I know it hurts but you need to be strong for your little sister.."
And in the back of his mind, the thief was hoping that the staff folk were buying into this act and not thinking they were just wasting their time with all of this dramatization.

To say that the hotel staff was flabbergasted would have been an understatement. He stood there dumbfounded as person after person confirmed this girl in front of him was nothing short of mentally challenged. "Very well," These people were all a little too strange for his taste, luckily they wouldn't be in the hotel much longer. "I'll speak to the guests and reassure them that its not a problem. In the mean time, can you please keep the noise down?" The man then turned his attention to Hitsu. "I do apologize miss, I had no idea."
Hearing Riyo's sobs the hotel staff decided to take his leave. "I apologize for taking up your time." With that he turned and made his way down the hall making stops along the way to assure patrons that the noise would no longer be a problem.
"Thank god," Neko heaved a heavy sigh. He had realized his plan was stupid from the get go but it was the first thing to come to mind. Sure he could have used his mind tricks again but there were far to many people here to question him about it. And he wasn't so sure he wanted Hanse to know any of the tricks he held up his sleeve. "Thanks for playing along Hitsu." He patted her on the shoulder briskly glad it was all over now.

The hallway wasn't too long but it did make a sharp turn a least once. Up ahead there would be light but it would be filtering through a wall of snow. It would be easy enough to dig through but it would only give way to the conditions outside. It hardly ever stopped snowing though currently it was only a light snowfall that would be easy enough to navigate through.

He was joking... Right? When Neko had made the ridiculous suggestion that the barking had come from her, Hitsu's confusion was obvious on her face. Of all of the horrible things he could have made up to try and get them out of this predicament, was this really necessary? No sooner had Neko stopped speaking, Hitsu had turned to look at him with clear displeasure. Of course, she knew better than to say anything in protest in front of this man they were trying to fool... But did Neko honestly expect her to confirm his claim? Fat chance.
Then Blade had urged it on. Hitsu frowned at him as well, there were really no words for this. Why was she suddenly selected as the one to play the fool in this charade? Surely someone would come to her rescue. She looked expectantly back to Yuki... Who had conveniently situated himself to look as though he was asleep. That jerk.
The sharp sound of Riyo slapping Blade drew Hitsu's attention swiftly back to them, wide-eyed... Though, silently satisfied that something about this nonsense was being addressed.
Until Riyo joined in, in which Hitsu only felt more foolish. She hadn't even said or done anything up to this point, she was aware of that, and as far as she was concerned it was going to remain that way. At this point, she was actually hoping that Neko would end up regretting this descision to humiliate her, by whatever means necessary.
Finally the little act was over, the staff member had believed their horrible lie and left them be. Hitsu felt Neko's hand on her shoulder, and didn't even pay mind to his words before she wheeled around and drove a closed fist into his cheek. Sure, she wasn't exactly the strong type, but it would certainly get the point across.
Sweeping past him, she quickly retreated to the bathroom that hid Mitsu and Tobi and barely knocked on the door before letting herself in. "It's me, Mitsu." Mitsu was the only one innocent right now, as far as Hitsu was concerned.
"Well," Yuki propped himself up on the bed again. "You guys had better sleep with one eye open tonight. Don't you think that was a bit harsh?"
-----
[Putting this here for Hanse. Short and sweet, just to note that he's gone.]
In the commotion the group in the room was causing, Hanse shook his head with a soft sigh while walking down the hall.

Once the guy had left, Blade let out a sigh and moved his hand away from Riyo. After the door closed, he gave Hitsu an apologetic look but he wasn't so sure she would be so forgiving. They did just humiliate her just now after all.
And the girl's actions just proved his point, as she punched Neko right in the face. He felt bad for going along with the act, but at least it had worked.
Watching her retreat towards the bathroom, he soon turned his attention towards Yuki.
"Yeah.. I have to admit it went a bit far..." he uttered.

poke reached the end of the hallway and noticed the heap of snow at the front. It wasn't packed in hard so she was able to dig through it and come out on the other side. She stood out in the open, breathing in a few lungfulls of fresh air and feeling glad to not still be in the stupid building anymore. But it was sill behind her so poke began to sprint again with all her might. The snow though was severly hampering her progress; it wasn't snowing hard but there was still plenty of snow to fall into. Pretty soon her clothes were soaked through, so she placed the coat the mantis man have given over her to keep in some form of warmth. okay, so now all I gotta do is to find another town or area were I can camp out and find out precisely were I am, and how to get back to were I was poke thought to herself. Which is going to be dam hard, considering theres nothing here to give me a sense of direction...I should have brought a compass ages ago Sighing, she kept on going forwards.

Hitsu had given him no reply only a swift punch in the face. "Ow," He yelped being caught of guard by her actions. Being yelled at he expected but punched was another matter entirely. "Hey, I'm sorry. It was the first thing I could think of." Neko explained. "And it worked didn't it?" Neko glared at Yuki as he spoke. He was a fine one to talk. He had put in his two cents and acted like he was asleep.
Mitsu looked up from her position at the other end of the bathroom as Hitsu opened the door. She and Tobi had huddled together in the corner waiting for it to all be over. "Are they gone?" Taking the opportunity, Tobi stood up and left Mitsu's side strutting his way outside of the bathroom like he didn't have a care in the world.

It was some time later, but it seemed that the sky was starting to darken even mor ethen it was. This was the only indication that the sun was starting to set. Sighing, poke tredged on, following the pathway that seemed to be the only thing she had to a destination. Her clothes were soaked, not met for this cold weather, and even with her resistance she didn't think she could last much longer out here in the cold. She scanned the horizion, but couldn't see anything that was akin to shelter. Perhaps if she found a tree with alot of snow on it....

It wasn't much longer after the alarms had gone off did Shun set out once again. Not to hunt down the escapee but to go on with his job. He had enough provisions, and he didn't really feel like sticking around with all the commotion going on.
With his horse, he rode out into the snowy abyss, sticking out quite well against the white surroundings.... with all his dark clothing and dark horse and all. He wasn't in any rush but he kept at a decent pace, keeping to the path to make things easier and safe for both himself and his steed.
And for the most part, the scenery was rather boring. Snow here. Snow there. With a couple random dead trees mixed about. But mainly just snow all around. So it didn't take much to notice someone walking along side the trail. The assassin narrowed his eyes some before urging the horse to trot forth to catch up with the lone wanderer.
Once he was closer, he soon realized it was the fin girl.
"Really couldn't keep you locked up hm? I be some heads will be rolling tonight..." he said.

Looking back and seeing her kidnapper once again, poke simply sighed. "yeah, sorry about that" she said back. "I'm allergic to being experimented on." Shivering she pressed on. "It's also not my fault the guards can't do their job right." Poke then remembered the gory scene from before and hugged herself closer. "Ugh...I'm not going to be able to eat for weeks"
