Aideen bobbed her head in greeting and smiled.
"Nice to meet you, Lord Iro correct?" Again the voice would appear in his head but to everyone else because it was a public conversation.
Getting up from the ground she carefully avoided the children and cubs and sat on her hunches instead.

Iro smiled and said "yes, now Ryu has told me of the situation and I'd already dispatched a messenger to send word of a division of my best troops sent here. Once here, they will accept orders from you as if from myself, so you can expect strict disappline."
Kitsuna would smile as she played with the children. After a moment she would look to Lyoko and say "I heard what happened earlier. I hope things will be ok. And not just with dealing with the coven situation, but with...well I know how things have been with you and Lady Aideen. do you not think this situation alone should give reason enough to bury the hatchet, so to speak. I mean Master Ryu yet has old enemies, and while he could handle them, Aideen is the elder dragon of the two and thus more powerful, she would naturally be the first choice for someone to help protect you."

"Help, yes, friendship, no. I know Ryu wants us to be friends or at least be ok. But I can't, not while she had or is having my husbands baby. You'll understand when you have kids how I'm feeling about it all."

Aideen nodded and got up from her spot and began to pace thinking to herself, slowly unferling and adjusting her wings over and over again.
Aideens ears picked up what Kitsuna and Lyoko were talking about and it sent a cold shiver down her spine, her scales raising she lowered her head to lyokos height and bore her fangs.
"I'm getting tired of your childish behaviour, do you have ANY idea how hard it is for dragons to breed, we cannot just present ourself to just anyone, we live for a LONG time and our numbers are few, Ryu is the only dragon I've seen in under 150 YEARS. My child is a blessing, if you saw her you would agree." She growled her voice crystal clear to everyone, and she dug her claws into the grass in frustration careful to avoid the cubs and children around her.
"I know exactly what it's like to have someone special to go behind you back so stop complaining and get over it, it's old so bury it and grow up." She crouched and looked over at Iro and Ryu her eyes flashing in annoyance scales still bristling.
"Teach her manners or I will. I will still help as is my duty but I do not want to hear HER whining anymore, sent the troops to my land I will be there." She quickly projected a visual of her land into Iro's mind then launched herself into the air buffeting everyone as her wings proppelled her upwards.
She let out a burst of fire from her maur and glided on the drafts to her cave.

Kitsuna would shield herself and at least Kaori from the gust of wind from Aideen's departure. Iro watched Aideen leave, then looked to Lyoko and said "it doesn't help to keep a grudge, it's unhealthy and She is right. Dragons are a dying species. if something happened between her and Ryu, it was perhapes more for the purpose of perpetuating the species, than anything else." Iro was about to go on further before Ryu placed a hand on his lord's shoulder, quieting him. Ryu wasn't facing any of them as he says "I'm sorry" then he heads to the barracks on the castle grounds. As to whom that brief remark was for, perhapes it was to everyone.

She watched Ryu leave and felt a pang in her chest. She picked up the babies and looked at Kari. "KAri, Loka, Yuuki, Kovu, come on." They followed her inside and back up to the babies room where she put the girls down for a nap. They didn't get it. They don't know how much it hurts to have someone else have the love of your life's baby. Dying species or not. 'It would be like me having an affair then leaving so the baby would know it's father and leaving Ryu with their daughters. If he had mated with Aideen he should've stayed with her. Then there wouldn't be the threat of a war...' She thought.

About a half our later Ryu would arrive in the room. He came in calm enough, but once the door closed, Lyoko could tell he felt horrible. He wouldn't look to her as he asks "Do you hate me? In all honesty, I wouldn't blame you. I mate with a dragoness, then find and fall for you. I deserve any ill will wished upon me."

Her hands gripped the side of the crib adn she looked down at her babies. "I could never hate you, I love you too much. But I never want to see her again and I will never go to her for help. She's a last resort. I'll go to Iro and Kitsuna first. BUt I do wish you had never mated with her. There's a child out there that's yours but not mine..." Tears dripped form her eyes. "You have no idea how much that hurts. Everytime I think about it..."

Ryu would look to her a long moment before he moves to her. If allowed he'd turn her to face him then hold her close in a comforting hug. "I'm sorry for what pain I've caused you. I never ment to." He says to her.

"I know." She cried for a few moments against his chest before finally stopping and wiping her eyes. "I'm sorry Ryu, I must look like a wreck to you. A crazy mother who gets upset over the slightest thing..."

Ryu himself had shed a few tears, though his didn't vocalize his sadness. He would looks to her, and give slight smile before saying "You've your reasons, but you still look just fine to me."

The babies were asleep and she didn't want to wake them up. She went into the bed room and sat down on the bed wiping her eyes dry again.

Ryu would join her, sitting next to her on the bed. Naturally he would use his magic to offered added security measures for the babies room while they were not in it.

Ryu would loop an arm across her shoulders and bring her in close. He'd kiss the top of her head and say "don't worry, the coven won't get you or the children, I promise."
