Hello everyone!

Sup girl. Are you familiar with how to level up yet?

@jwalker: I think I've read some of Battle Angel Alita before but I might revisit it. If you like The Breaker and Veritas then I'd highly recommend Holyland. There aren't any superpowers or anything, but it has a very gritty and slice of life story and dynamic characters. But what really surprised me was the action, in which it almost teaches the reader about martial arts by introducing new techniques and concepts through the plot. Its difficult to explain but if you've ever been in a fight or have even trained to fight then you should remember or realize a lot of what they talk about in the manga is accurate.

(honorable mention to Akumetsu (manga) for its excellent premise and ending)

If I had honorable mentions, I would definitely put those 2 in there. I think I might try out Holyland....but right now I am re-reading Black Lagoon cause I hear the author is coming out of hiatus.

Well you can find it in the student handbook, but basically there're two ways to advance.

1. You can level up by winning two battles against someone your level or higher

or

2. Take a level up test

If you go for option 2 then you're going to need a teacher npc to give you certain tests. Most students tend to stick with a single teacher for their tests.
