It was written somewhere that demons drop something if they die. but you could get it if they ave it to you. My brain can't remember right now.

I think that referred to NPC demons, like random encounters...not PCs.

Ah, I was clueless as to what it was referring to. And I plan on having him die fighting. And as well as wanting him to drop part of what he was looking for. Is that alright?
I know I am asking a lot from a single death from a continuing guild that has already hundreds of deaths, but I just want to have Fujimatsu leave his footprint in the guild.

We could discuss an upon-death drop for him. It won't be anything overwhelming, but who knows?

I understand that completely, I mean, he was only there for like two game days. But still, it would leave a legacy that would allow for other Fireborn-Firebros to remember.
But anyways, I am going to have to hit the bed. Stood up too late last night, need to regulate my sleep pattern for the essays.

Though first I would need to understand the realm of what is plausible and what is not for a item drop.

Well, one of my characters gets to grab the demon's essence, take a skill, and apply it to their weapon, but that's a slightly odd case... XD
For the most part, item drops happen as a result of story events, largely for participation or particular accomplishments. They tend to be in the "Medium" to "Epic" ranges, and really, they go all over the place. ^^ Drops for random demon battles done just for fun are... not typically gonna happen.
