Carlos sat next to Aurora's bed as sun's dawn first crept up. He was pale and care-worn. Both of his hands were cut deeply, and shared a deathly pale colour which conflicted the dried red blood over his hand. She had stopped much of the problems herself, but since she was vampire, he had to guess she needed blood rather than water, and had no time to fetch it.
"I see your awake. Good morning Aurora." Carlos started caringly. "I wouldn't wish this upon you, but you remember last nights events?"

"You were bitten. By a werewolf." Carlos reminded her, indicating to her shoulder. "I had to bite you, so that the others wouldn't kill you."
Carlos lowered his head, apprehensive of how Aurora would react to it. He was slightly fearful, though he wouldn't admit it. When Shadow found out, because it was indeed going to happen, he was a dead man.

"Without me, it wouldn't have happened in the first place." Carlos said sternly. "And for that, I'm sorry this has been forced upon you. It's a burden you shouldn't have to bear."
Carlos used his spare hand to grip Aurora's right hand. His own hands were extremely cold, and rough from the dried blood. His grip was weak, and so was his posture. He was showing clear signs of tiredness, and weakness, but keeping a contradictory attempt of being fine.

"Yes, I'm cold and tired. But I'm here to help you bear the burden I have put upon you." Carlos said, carefully removing and replacing the blanket. "For you are now part vampire and part werewolf. But you know little of how our side operates."
Carlos stood from his seat, thinking himself how their kind operated. "We work in packs, usually of many, consisting of a Pack Alpha, who would usually be the strongest, and Pack Wolves. To form a pack, you claim territory. Many packs hunt and kill those who try. But that is irrelivent right now. As you know, we transform into wolf-like forms. It's involuntary when we're in pain, overly enraged, or deathly frightened." Carlos lectured, trying to keep a wise tone. "We also personally trigger it at will. It's as simple as imagining the form, and waiting for it to happen."

"I wish I could, but I'll need to look after you for afew days." Carlos mentioned. "Make sure you understand how you transform, and why I call it a burden." Carlos sat back down, turning his head so she could do her morning activities in privacy.

"I know he's going to kill me." Carlos replied, glumly. "But I did what I could to keep you alive. It's enough for me to go quietly. It's what I deserve."
Carlos lowered his head in thoughts, curious how the day would go.

Shadow walked out of the forest, he had spent the previous night and day wandering around looking for those who left the amulet. He had little luck, no trace could be found of them. Shadow began to think that maybe someone just dropped the thing and it wasn't ment to be found but then everything else dosen't make sense. With a heavy sigh Shadow entered the manor through the back door and grabbed soem blood from the fridge. "Where are you?" he asked himself as he took a swig of the blood.
