Felina paused "Ok if you like but maybe not too much to eat since in a couple of hours we'll be going to a big royal buffet and best to leave plenty room for those for it would be insulting not to try a lot of the food" she warned following Oassu around ignoring the fact she had finally been recognised by some of the other spectators. "In that big time span its easier to adjust if you keep yourself busy I believe"
Satoshi smiled putting her drink to one side to return the affection soon followed by her clone doing the same. "Well glad you like it though I wouldn't recommend scavenging for fruit things in the wild without knowing your stuff. All it takes is one wrong berry to poison you. Though if I were to just want to travel I would probably get a job as a courier or something. As nice as moogles are they can't carry as much at once"

Oassu chuckled "Sure sure, just a little snack though I'm not planning on eating too much at the buffet later, I'm sure everyone will want in on it" he said skating backwards slightly slower so he could face Felina before passing Cid in his bubble back to Felina.
Gil chuckled lifting both Satoshi and her clone up while picking up their drinks before carrying them both to the couch to sit down with them placing the drinks on the table "Thats the benefits of having a travelling fiend companion, Enkidu has a nose for these kinda things as well, so he sniffs out what's good and bad too" he said giving the clone a kiss as well.
Itaka nodded "Thank god Hebal didn't make it otherwise we might not really enjoy it though I don't think you CAN get fat the amount I've seen you eat" he said crawling over the bed to examine his present from Mari "Ah she made me some unusual little biscuit things, must be something from her homeland" he said examining the unusual little panda-shaped biscuits.
Zadina giggled "Nothing Miss Hebal just where we'd go to shop first, we can take you to the Viera district if you want a cheaper dress more suited to Viera styles" he suggested to Hebal walking alongside her.
Jeckhart sighed "I'm not sure I can, your mother will probably be all excited by the goings on tonight but I'll do my best, I'll probably need to look out some form of formal clothing as well" he muttered to Amane.

Seph scratched her head "Hmm I think I have seen that animal before once in her lands. Wasn't doing anything interesting though and I think I could have taken it in a fight had it not been under some species protection programme. Can be arrested for harming one without good reason. Though if Hebal baked this we would have a pile of hot ash that looked like fire demon poop" she joked.
Amane nodded "Yep but whats not to be excited about? Its going to be a really good experience that doesn't get to happen just anytime so a little bit isn't so bad. I'm mostly looking forward to seeing the great Bahamut the most myself. Still have you got no formal clothes? Then perhaps we can visit the mens section then too"
Hebal stopped and turned around walking backwards to talk to everyone "Did you just say you needed clothes too Mr Jeckhart? Best go look at elf clothes soon then. Don't take this the wrong way but make viera clothes really wouldn't suit you. Or most people for that matter based on the villages I went to hehe" she warned.

Felina grabbed hold of Cid escorting him to the rink exit "You say that now but just wait until you get to try the food. It's yummy and there is always more than enough for everyone. But lets get the skates off and head off and quick since people are starting to talk about us more than I want today anyway" she sighed popping Cid's bubble leaving him confused and lying in her arms.
Satoshi gasped clinging tightly onto Gil until safely put down "I think its going to be a long while before I get used to having someone around who can pick me up so easily. Where is Enkidu lurking around by the way? Think he went to nap somewhere" she wondered patting the couch for Gil to sit between her and her clone. "Lucky you have Enkidu for I just had to do a load of research and years of studying edible plants and mushrooms around the world. Though think half the class slept through it" she laughed.

Oassu nodded swivelling around on the ice to notice some people staring at them on the ice "I see, want me to get rid of them for ya?" he asked swivelling back to step awkwardly off the ice before shuffling over to the booth to get his shoes back "It'll be nice I'm sure but it'll just be like finger food for a party, that stuff isn't really filling" he said.
Gil chuckled sitting down between them and cuddling both of them "Sure but it took me some time to get used to being teleported around. Enkidu is just dozing down the side of the couch there, probably finds all this place really boring" he said rubbing both Satoshis' shoulders "Still that doesn't sound especially good of them, would think ninjas would pay attention to a class that's essentially about poisons" he shrugged
Itaka grunted "That's a horrible image, thanks for that" he said crunching one of the biscuits from the box "Hmm strawberry filling, try one" he said offering one to Seph "Well that's all the presents, quite a nice few little gifts there" he said looking over the stuff.
Jeckhart nodded "Yes but I also don't have the most income, either, I'll probably make do with something a little simpler than one of the suits from the expensive shops but I'll make an attempt at least, we don't have any such big formal events at the clan so there's no need for suits or dresses" he said.
Zadina nodded "I'm sure we can find something nice for you to wear Mr Jeckhart no need to worry, anyway this is the side gate to the palace, since the nobles are arriving and being greeted at the front" he said "It's why it's not as extravagant here but it's still pleasant" he said

Seph snickered grabbing the biscuit with her mouth "Mmm that's pretty good though I ber your mental image of that was worse than it is" she eventually added more than happy to nibble away. "Well I think still your gift was best out of all of them. No idea how I would make use of them horn warmers. Will probably just go in my bag and be forgotten about"
Hebal scratched her head "Well in that case I guess I will style you as well though it will be the first time I have ever styled someone in man clothes. Hehe should be an interesting experience. But you can count on me to make you look good on a budget though you might want to give your hair a good comb before the party too" she recommended.
Amane held her breath fighting back a laugh from her mothers comments "I like this entrance more than the other one. Well I like the garden better at that side but tis side gate isn't as intimidating to walk under. But Mr Jechart, don't the clan have any special occasions or holidays?"

Felina paused politely waving to the onlookers "Oh there is no need for that Oassu, they aren't being any bother and would be mean to do so" she insisted slipping her boots back on "Mostly finger food but I believe there is going to be a giant cake and things like that too. Those always look incredible" she grinned sliding her boots back on.
Satoshi rolled her eyes watching her clone bury herself into Gil with a delighted squeal "Well the half that stayed asleep only turned out to be low ranking ninja with little hope of promotions so more fool them for sleeping through the boring sounding part. My favourite class was camouflage and all the face painting involved. But you know me, I just love all painting heh. Hope my clone isn't getting too cosey with you there"

Oassu chuckled "Shame I had a great plan too" he said untying his own skates once sat at a table "An yeah I'm sure cakes made for royalty would be incredible, must have a really famous chef or something make it" he said tying his own shoes back on "I'm sort of surprised those people haven't came over to see you yet, perhaps they are just shy" he said quietly.
Gil chuckled giving the clone a tighter hug and a little kiss "No no she's fine, cuter than ever and extremely cuddly, feels quite nice, I like this side of you" Gil teased turning his attention back to Satoshi "I don't know if I liked art I imagine camouflage wouldn't really be any fun, you wouldn't get to do anything you wanted with art just boring drab face paints" he mused.
Itaka shrugged lying back on the bed "Well that's what happens with all little presents eventually, though I suppose I could leave that little statue there" he said looking over at his chocobo statue on the table "Seems an ok place for it I suppose" he sighed.
Jeckhart hung his head slightly mumbling something about liking his hair quietly while the group moved "Er...well we have some but they are mostly different than your ones, demons come from a whole other world remember, they don't really share any of this world's traditions or customs" he tried to explain to Amane.
Zadina nodded "Though you should be scared while you are here Amane, it's a nice safe place and I'm looking out for you so everything will be fine, you already got to meet the King and Queen so that's some awesome privileges already" he said to Amane before turning to the guards at the gate and exchanging a greeting in Elvish before the guards bowed and opened the gate for them.

Seph nodded getting up to move the statue more into the middle of the table "Well sure its in your home nicely tucked away and technically mine will be also if I put it in my bag. Maybe go get it valued sometime when we have time. for all we know that could be pretty good quality" she guessed lying down beside Itaka. "You look like your worn out from today" she remarked.
Hebal politely waved to the guards as she happily skipped by them "Well why not tell Amane about the things you do in demon cultures. I know they vary from species to species but there must be one or two dates important to bird demons. I know that Alpha celebrates the festival of the dead in private but I don't think Sephy does for instance"
Amane shook her head but gave the guards a smile "Oh I'm not afraid really, well I am a little since everything is so new but I'll be ok. And I know I am getting quite the trip. Melanae and Ardie probably will not believe me when I first tell them I got to meet the elven royal family but I think they will be jealous but then maybe when I am older I can take them too"

Felina shrugged "Maybe they are just polite. I mean all the obnoxious journalists are paying attention to the parade of nobility anyway and my return wasn't announced in advance. Just be grateful that its a shy bunch or we would never get any peace. But of course, all the cakes are specially made by some of the best cake specialists around. Could probably book a week away in Tricasia for the price of one of them cakes."
Satoshi finally stopped looking at her clone now satisfied that it wouldn't try and pounce on Gil "Guess randomness is on your side clone wise. But even painting all the drab face paints were fun to do though was even better when they allowed me to do full body camouflage. Plus I was good at it and got lots of praise which is a bonus and.... oh hi Terrato. Nice to see you finally awake" she giggled tickled by her pet affectionately slithering around her shoulders then onto Gil's arms.

Oassu chuckled "I'd probably rather have the week in Tricasia to be honest but for now I'm sure the cake will be delicious" he said picking up Cid "Still lets hurry on out of here in case the next skaters aren't quite as polite or shy as that bunch" he said aware the group were still glancing at them.
Itaka smirked "It's not nice to return or sell on gifts besides, I doubt it's worth that much really but no it's just that way when you lie down on a bed and realise how comfortable it is after a hard day" he sighed "Probably just because it's been a bit cold and it's really warm in here" he said looking over at Seph as he put an arm around her.
Jeckhart nodded "I suppose I could, there's just so many for each different kind of demon you could spend years learning all the intricacies and details of them" he said tilting his head in thought "Even then, clan members are mostly trying to shed some of their demon heritage and customs anyway so many don't especially celebrate that...." he made sure they were some distance from Amane before whispering to Hebal "Succubi and Incubi for instance have some extremely unsavoury festivals, and then there's the season for all demons, demons don't have many especially pleasant festivals in that way" he said.
Zadina nodded "Certainly I'd love to show them around the palace and everything too when we come back on the pilgrimage but I hope you are enjoying Yithra in spite of it being a big city. I suppose I had plenty of time to get used to it" he said watching the guards shut the heavy gate behind them.
Gil chuckled nuzzling the clone "Sure she's certainly nice and affectionate I'm quite happy with at least one here" he chuckled turning round to kiss Satoshi "Guess I'm just really lucky to have a woman like you" he said shivering slightly as Terrato slithered over his arms "That feels a little unsettling though" he muttered.

Seph shrugged rolling onto her side to face Itaka "Well I don't have a problem with people selling gifts if the money from selling it goes towards something they do want. Though for me, its my wings that feel more tired out than usual because I have been exercising them more but I'm making great progress in getting them into proper shape. Plus its like learning a skill then decades later having to do it again never practicing in between" she explained folding one of her wings around his body.
Hebal gasped her ears twitching slightly also "Oh well I am glad you didn't mention those to Amane since they aren't appropriate for young ears. I was invited to one of their parties once... was interesting. Sort of took a peek in then ran off before any could see me" she shuddered.
Amane paused "Well that's kinda disappointing but oh well I'm sure that some demons somewhere have at least one nice celebration" she smiled anyway looking around in the street. "I am enjoying the city despite all its differences. But even just leaving the palace grounds the streets are an entirely different atmosphere to the place" she grinned watching a group of younger children run past in dragon masks.

Felina reached out offering her hand to Oassu "Well with you I would gladly have that trip to Tricasia than the cake but hey cant always swap. Just be glad to know that we'll probably get one fantastic wedding cake when we finally get to that stage. But tell me, what food interests you today?" she asked unsure of where to take him.
Satoshi sighed redirecting Terrato to sit around her neck before leaning in to return the kiss "Mmm was that a hint for me to bring out more clones there hehe?" she responded summoning a third clone to appear from behind the couch who leaned over to hug Gil before he could answer. "Sorry about Terrato though. I guess he just feels left out all day and also he does really enjoy using your arms as a climbing frame. It's like your his mini tree"

Oassu shook his head "Anything will do, I'm sure it'll be enjoyable, let me try one of your favourite things" he said taking Felina's hand to let her lead "It's your city and it's rare we get a chance around here like this" he said carrying Cid along with them "This bunny is sure getting his exercise today" he added brightly.
Gil groaned slightly as the clone hugged his head "Well that's certainly nice as well though she's not really in a position I can return the affection" he murmured nuzzling Satoshi and her clones "Though...didn't we plan...on going out somewhere..." he said slowly.
Jeckhart blushed somewhat "Well...I...I'm glad you didn't participate, but yes I wouldn't tell something like that to children, I realised I'm quite fond of looking after children when I was taking care of Zadina" he said looking back at the kids.
Itaka chuckled stroking Seph's tummy and wings "Well sure I'd say this was a great investment, it certainly seems to have made you happier." he sighed happily "Good thing we got lucky in Tricasia, though those doctors are really out to take every penny" he grunted.
Zadina nodded moving along after Amane watching the kids run past nervously "Sure it's different, I didn't get to explore like those kids did though, I spent a lot of my time at the mage college so despite the fact I've lived here so long it's still a little new and terrifying to me" he said

Seph laughed "Oh yeah that's Nu mou for you. They know what they are good at and they know how to take every penny you own in exchange for their services. But you're right. I feel better physically than I have in a long while and at the very least none of the other demons will keep staring at me and wondering how I lost it. That was a bit annoying" she admitted.
Hebal nodded her head approvingly "Well of course I wouldn't participate in stuff like that when not in a really close relationship with anyone. But its really fun to look after kids once you work out a knack for it an if you work hard. It's surprising to see any guy taking an interest in looking after kids. Usually its more a thing ladies enjoy doing. If you want, maybe now and then you can help me look after Amane more often" she suggested.
Amane followed the kids with her gaze until they turned around the corner "Then that would mean we can explore the city together and it can be a new adventure for both of us. And maybe we can check out what all these little stall are selling and maybe what it is exactly I am smelling"
