I just noticed something. Yasumicon(which is still waaaaay off at teh beginning of August), will be held at the FIU campus. Which is both good and bad.
Good - It's right down the road from me. Sweet. Bad - Jocks. That place is full of them. And you know what jocks like to do to people with adverse hobbies to impress their little jock buddies.
BTW, in case anyone is worried of my hunger problems, Pizza is on its way ^_^

Oh speaking of Yasumicon, anyone else going? It'd be nice to have at least a small gathering of our group there biggrin and don't worry dude just go in a group (especially with bigger guys), jocks don't mess with people in large groups especially if they have bigger people. Plus I knew alot of the jocks in my high school, if they're there they wouldn't be the kind that's all "Revenge of the Nerds" style jocks rofl This is also not to far away from me so I would be able to make this, want me to make a thread to see how many people would make it? surprised Oh and enjoy that pizza (what franchise you ordering from? ninja ) I got that McDonald's Southern Chicken on its way now. Can't wait to get it ;_;

lol I'm not really afraid of jocks. I was one of those kids who, all through school(elementary through high school), that didn't take getting picked on sitting down. If they touched me in any form or fashion, or brought my momma into it, they were...dealt with accordingly cool

In high school, I was a jock. But I was one of the geeky ones. ^_^ And our football team sucks, so the football players couldn't be asswipes. Actually, some of them were really nice, and I was good friends with several of them (and I dated one, but that's another story...)
And I thought people grew up once they got to college? At Valencia they seem to have grown up, anyway. We're all like we were in high school, except we don't really give a damn what everyone else does with their free time unless we happen to be part of that free time, lol.

Speaking of stereotypes, I was too complicated to be put into a category like jock, geek, etc, so I'm just weird (although I do like to refer to myself as a nerd because my favorite cousin has always called me one). 8D

That's who it is! I was trying to think of where your banner came from. I finally saw the episode of Death Note today on Adult Swim OnDemand. I was never interested in it because of all the hype surrounding it as well as all the emo-tastic photos that surround forums of it's fangirls. Then I actually broke down and watched the first episode. I was surprised that the Japanese could dish out such a controversial series. It's a series that makes you ask yourself questions about yourself. Kinda of like what Gundam 00 has done, except better. Most anime out there is purely self-indulgence, merchandise promoting, and love-triangle remixes of little to no value nor humor.

But all changed when I moved to a new town, better people. But either way people change, people grow older they learn more, all part of growing up.

I liked it 'cause of the games L and Near were playing with Light and vise-versa. Although, I must say, the series kind of died when Near and Mello were brought into the picture. I read it to the end, though. ninja
There's a sort of love-triangle in the series... but it's the girls loving Light and him playing them to not get caught by the police. surprised

That's it, spoil it for me, why don'tcha? *grmble* lol j/k
By the way, in FFCC: My Life as King for WiiWare. I broke down and got it and Defend Your Castle. FFCC isn't really all that fun yet, because I can't get my adventurers to party up together. Now, if I could go out and fight, it'd be a different story. But nooooo.
Party up, bitches!! scream
