Alright, since certain harsh people want a less lame review of the DS, I guess I'll have to deliver.
The graphics are equal to that of the N64, and they've ported Super Mario 64 with quite a few upgrades. It's a great system, the touch screen is durable (even though I really don't like that element of the system) and it's a nice piece of hardware. It's a tad pricey for a portable system, but I'd have to say that it's worth it. The game cartridges are really small, so make sure you've got a place to keep them.
I can't really come up with a complaint about Mario 64 DS, besides the touch screen element and mild camera problems. But, the touch screen element can be totally eliminated, so it's all good. It's the cheapest of the launch titles, and it's a great game, so if you're getting a DS this game is a must have.
The Metroid Prime Hunters demo that the system comes with is almost like a stand alone game. Again, same touch screen element complaint, but with a different control scheme it can be completely eliminated. Also, I have a problem with you not being able to un-invert the controls, but that's just me. I hope the full version allows you to do that.
All in all, if you want a portable system, DS is the one to get. It's a bit expensive, but it is a great system, and I think it's worth picking up.
Edit: Pictochat and wireless (and amazingly long distance) connectivity are solid additions, even though I really haven't had the chance to make much use of either of them.

Kinetic Dream ...Pappy Phoe-Phoe... xd -snicker- -Hugs Mala- Welcome back to the AG. whee *hug* It's good to be back! surprised ...And now it's time to go back in to CCU. We're splitting the shift, though, so I'll be back early this evening. We've only got one patient in CCU right now. cool And Tinker's not really even critical; she's only still in the hospital because her owners couldn't make it down through the snow to pick her up.

Zelyhon yaten Streamjumper yaten Grendel IM'd me on AIM asking to be booted from the guild, so I attempted to do so. Not sure if it went through... but if you don't see him around anymore that is why. sweatdrop *goes to bed* **yaaawn** Did he give reasons? I PMed him to find out why, but I can't quite be sure he'll answer. He's always been under the impression that the significant majority of the people in this guild hate him. I've argued it out with him a couple of times that you guys don't hate him... he asked me to kick him out this time, and if someone else wants to argue it out with him and invite him back, go for it... but I'm sick of the same argument, so I just went a head and banned (the only way to kick people out) him. Yep. We all hate him. That's why every time he's said in the guild that he wants to leave, we argue him out of it. rolleyes I'm going to leave this to someone a little more diplomatic than myself, though. neutral I'd try to talk to him, but I don't feel we'd exactly see eye to eye... neh. -shrug- Still, it's frustrating to see everyone think everyone hates them. I don't, for one. I'm happy that anyone who's in this guild is here, and I really don't want anyone to leave. So the "Everyone hates me" arguement is, from this point on, INVALID! scream

Anyway, thanks for the review, I'll be sure to look into it when I get some money in my pocket.

Kinetic Dream Anyway, thanks for the review, I'll be sure to look into it when I get some money in my pocket. Im saving my random pocket change and lint for the PSP. But on a few conditions: 1.) I flat-out refuse to buy it if its $299 when it comes out. Same for $249. Actually, if its more than $199 when it first comes out, they can kiss my red indian a**, unless- 2.) FF7 is one of the release games. Then Ill pay ANY price to get my hands on one! Are you listening Satan? scream
