Oassu chuckled sliding over to Felina and helping her balance with a cuddle "You alright out here? Perhaps we should put you in the float bubble" he said watching Cid roll around in the bubble as he kissed Felina taking her hand "Lets just go slow then, don't get too cocky if it's been a long time" he said.

Gil chuckled "Can't be a very popular job I'd imagine, still with the amount you turn in you must be due a promotion by this point, though what kinda luxuries do you get when promoted?" he asked ruffling Enkidu's fur as he walked up "And don't mind this guy, fiends have a big appetite I'll give him something extra when back at the apartment." he said gesturing for Enkidu to run on ahead.

Zadina happily hopped over to Alusaadi "Auntie Alu!" he said giving her a gentle hug before noticing the slight bump in her tummy "Oh oh it's.,..it's...oh the little prince!" he gasped excitedly before snapping out of wonder "Oh Happy Dragon Festival Auntie and don't worry about the gifts I'm sure they'll be wonderful" he said becoming aware of the sudden kwehing of the little chocobo in his robes grumpy at being compacted in the cuddle "Oh sorry Auntie I forgot to introduce you" he said removing the chicobo from his robes "This is my little pet Merric!" he said placing Merric down gently beside Alusaadi for her inspection.

Itaka nodded accepting a chocolate and eating it "Thanks and happy dragon festival though I didn't know you could repair stuff like that, you don't strike me as the seamstress type, I think that little toy makes a little noise when you squeeze it as well" he said sitting down beside Seph again to get comfortable.

Felina grinned stopping and giving Oassu a small bow on the ice "Oh I'm ok! I can heal wounds if need be anyway though I think it is just a case of getting used to doing this again. No need for float bubbles" she giggled taking Oassu's hand so they could skate together. "We will have to thank the nobility later for making this place so quiet just for us. And glad we have time to ourselves even if Hebal would most likely be great at this"

Satoshi yawned "Well what I am doing outside the village is more of a side job for the village than anything. But the higher your rank the better your pay and often you get big discounts at the village shops and ninja markets. Also if you get really really famous then you're treat like a celebrity. A bit like you are. But those are the only perks to having a higher rank"

Alusaadi gasped managing to keep herself from releasing a small squeal in surprise "Oh hello there little Merric. You have a very handsome coat of feathers growing there" she greeted the bird picking him up and placing him down on her lap for a stroke. "Was he a dragon festival gift from someone? One of our guests perhaps for I have heard you came in a group with 5 others"

Seph placed an arm around Itaka taking advantage of his last movements "Well I usually would take stuff to a seamstress also but when push comes to shove it sometimes helps to do a few things like when out in the middle of nowhere. Was one of the many mother daughter activities I was subjected to heh. Bet my mum would approve of you if not your choice in musical chocobos" she joked nuzzling his shoulder.

Hebal looking around trying to get a good look at the guards "Oooh yeah I guess that would look a little suspicious me looking in on the queens room but I thought it wouldn't be too bad with being a friend of Zadina's but oh well. I just don't like waiting around like this"

Amane giggled giving Jeckhart a small bow "Thanks for the compliments, I'm sure your popular with the lady demons if you are always that polite" she cheerfully smiled ignoring the guards and instead choosing to admire the paintings on the wall "If we have to wait, I'm not going to complain because at least theres lots of pretty things to see even in the hallways like these"

Oassu gritted his teeth coming to a standstill as Felina circled him "Hey now you make it difficult for me to move when you do that, but sure I got Hebal a nice pair of shoes for the Dragon festival already, though considering how much science must have went into those shoes I'm not sure if they'd have developed skates for Viera" he said scratching his chin as Cid floated over to his shoulder seeing an opportunity while he was still. "I mean Viera don't exactly live near lakes, and it must take a long time working out the balance formulas and stuff like that and it's a niche seasonal product so I'm not sure someone would have developed something like that yet" he pondered.

Zadina nodded bowing happily "Oh don't worry Merric likes to give shiny things as gifts so I'm sure he'd just offer you your own jewellery if he did pick something up" he explained hopping a bit away to the door leaving Merric with the Queen. "The guests we have are Miss Hebal and her daughter Miss Amane and Mr Jeckhart who looked after me when I was ill a while ago" he chirped hurrying off to the door to open it for them. "It's ok you can come in now just remember and be polite and bow, this is the Queen of the elves after all" he said beckoning for them to follow him through.

Gil chuckled "Good, sooner you get out of this business the better I guess right?" he said happily "Besides it's a real pain when people challenge you to prove they are better than you, you can't really just brush them off because they are so aggressive" he grunted.

Itaka raised an eyebrow "You think? I didn't know your mother, what was she like?" he asked adjusting his position to be more comfortable since Seph had trapped him "Well it's nice to know I meet your standards at least" he yawned "Though I have fine taste in musical chocobos"

Felina giggled skating back to Oassu's side "Hehe I forgot how fun skating was and it feels nice now I am starting to remember again how things are done. But hey you never know, theres some completely random and niche inventions out there. People used to come to my dad all the time with ideas for inventions in hope that he would invest in them and really silly ones too to the point I think he stopped doing that sort of thing"

Alusaadi tensed up somewhat taken aback by Hebal's introduction but removed her hand from Merric's beak to return the handshake. "I remember you Lady Hebal, you are a good friend of my daughter. And I thank you both for the compliments though I believe that elven pregnancies last longer than that of a vieras so I am sure you looked fine considering the stage you were at. So may I ask what brings you to Yithra at this time of year? Felina failed to mention your visit." she wondered.

Satoshi nodded skipping over an upcoming log "Right, other high paid and respectable jobs are welcome to me. Bet you know all about having random strangers coming to fight you. Is it a common occurrence or do people just want to get hold of your nice swords?"

Seph shook her head slightly "Nah didn't get that much from my mother really though I am grateful for the wings. Surprised she never wanted to move somewhere a little more lively though. Must have been pretty bored when I was at school. But still I am glad she taught me a few things even if some of them are useless like how to play a piano. Could have done with a white mage the amount of times I fell out of a tree trying to fly for the first time" she snickered at the thought while she idly caressed Itaka's face.

Amane nodded giving the queen another small bow. "I still have a while to go before I become a summoner yet but I will study really hard for it and make sure to keep Zadina out of trouble and I am grateful for the opportunity"

Hebal cheered happy to have at least been remembered "Maybe you are right your highness. I never even knew that you had longer ones. We also heard that Yithra was one of the best places in the world to go to celebrate the dragon festival also which would make this place also a great holiday to get rid of some stress. And I hear its because you and the king work really hard on the festival"

Oassu nodded spinning around slightly and skating backwards "Well yeah but I can't imagine many people would turn down dwarf or moogle help, they are both famous for their creations" he sighed "Though you need to realise not that many people are actually suspicious of dwarves, it's more an elvish thing I figure, outside in the cities Dwarves are the heart of industry. The factory district of Agralia is practically overrun with them" he said

Gil chuckled "I can't say I blame them, you are a very attractive woman" he said cuddling Satoshi gently while Enkidu sat down by the door waiting for it to be opened "And yeah I've lost a valuable sword or two before when I was starting out collecting but there's measures you can take." he said.

Zadina nodded "I'm trying very hard in my studies Auntie, I'm taking lessons in flying airships and learning to use a sword as well as teaching myself enchanting" he said proudly

Jeckhart bowed again "Zadina was a pleasure to look after your Highness I appreciate your thanks" he said politely "I'm sure the festival will be delightful, I think young Amane is looking forward to seeing Bahumut later on this evening" he said

Itaka chuckled "That sounds hilarious but hey you got there in the end" he said brushing away Seph's hand to sit up "Ah lying like that with the fire makes me too sleepy, and it's not time to sleep, we still got presents from other folks to open don't we?" he reminded her.
