I hate Mecha because I'd much rather see the PERSON fight, not the Mecha. It's more interesting that way in my opinion....also I just hate robots.

I don't care either way, but I prefer to see grotesque mutilations of the human body than metal parts getting smashed and go flying. I mean, I honestly think mecha's kinda cool and all but robots can't scream and cry and beg for mercy.

I much prefer mecha fights because people can actually take damage. When regular people fight the only way someone will consistantly get hit is if they're fighting someone hand to hand, the second a sword or gun gets drawn, it's a whole bunch of misses, blocks, and deflections. In mecha, there's no problem getting a limb chopped or blown off, you just retreat, get it repaired, and that caracter can fight again in the next battle. When its people fighting, its either a graze or getting completely impaled, and there's no real middle ground to it.
@ Van: If you make a wing RP, you have to make it so that if someone stands still and monologues, they become immune to damage! rofl

Gtg, but before I do...
Umm...I was posting in the infirmary as Akira. I was supposed to make 20 posts before I was good enough to leave. But since the thread's gone now, do I just post in the suna hospital or something?
I'll check for an answer when I get back or something, I gotta catch this bus!

I beg to differ. I've read plenty of 'middle ground'. Just read Black Lagoon, people take hits in that that aren't either grazes or 'getting completely impaled'

Pics or it didn't happen.
Also, design wise (not plot wise... god no) I like Master Gundam (G-Gundam) and how it looked. Just from a purely aesthetic perspective. -Van

lol I like watching Shin Chan for a similar reason. I don't have to "watch" it so much as I just have to listen to it. (Same thing with Gundam Wing for the most part lol) -Van
