Mitchell Hundred Aren't most catchy headlines actually about people who are being held accountable for their own actions? And how many times, when the media makes a mistake or deliberately misleads the people, do you see a retraction in great big letters on the front page? How often does a reporter who decides to 'spice up' an article get called on it? The media is just as corrupt as the politicians they're covering.
Take this election, for example. If the article with Spider here textually fellating Stark hadn't been so obviously slanted, do you think this inane election idea would have taken hold?

*Finishes the beer.*
What, and you don't think I have an agenda of my own helping this craziness into existence? Setting Stark up was just as convenient for me as it was him.

Did you even read your own article? Just what exactly are you washing the taste of out of your mouth?
"Well played, Stark," You said. Hard hitting interview? Don't make me laugh. I bet Stark brings it into the bathroom with him instead of Playboy.

Nick Joseph Fury You want to reschedule? Walk it off? ******** the whole thing? Reschedule. I want to hear what you have to say but I don't think I want to do it tonight. Doesn't mean I'm publishing either.

Possibly. Maybe. I don't know. Media certainly helps as it's the means to project the proposition of an election in the first place, and yes journalist have their own goals - as journalism is also a industry. I wasn't insinuating anything about this election. Merely commenting that most big headlines, the really sought after ones, are stories involving a person who has to own up to their own choices and actions.

I'm missing where I'm supposed to be giving a s**t about your griping, Rathaway. I'm here to start a media circus and reap the benefits. That's what I do.

*laughs*
You were led around by the nose in that interview. Asked all the questions that HE wanted you to ask. Lobbed the softest of softballs and got completely distracted from asking anything of substance by some bikinis. That wasn't journalism. That was you writing in your diary about how you want to be Tony Stark when you grow up.

I'm sixteen years older than Stark, and did everything he's done in the name of fame at least ten years before him. There's nothing he's had that I haven't gotten and thrown away. Next time you try to rattle me, make sure you know what the ******** I really am.

Ah, they always leave when the questioning gets to hard, isn't that the truth about politicians? I see it's true about journalists too. Hard to come up with an actual retort to the truth, isn't it, Spider. You didn't ask any real, pertinent questions. That's what it boils down to. You were used.
You're a tool, Spider. Have a nice night.
