What's with the rats?

Don't know, don't want to. So talk to me about your bid for president. I can't not support one of my best friends.

Right, right, media comes first. *waves him off and goes back to sketching*

*watches the rats* Huh. Kinda nice to see those somewhere other than a sewer, cave, or crypt.

Just who the hell are you, anyways? You go around asking intensely personal questions of some of the candidates, yet don't bother to identify yourself.

Just whose side are you on?

Well we are the voice of the common man. Being mutants we know what is like to be left out and we are here to give everyone a voice. Jean and I feel like we have the experience to lead. I have founded several charities, while Jean was even the headmistress of the Xavier institute for a while, but of course you know all that.

I'm on my own side. They didn't need to answer ANY of that stuff. I Don't need to PUBLISH any of it. I asked for myself. As A voter.

What does it matter to you?

Because I'm running in the election, of course. If some suit comes up to me and starts asking questions of an intensely personal nature, he'd better either give me his name or buy me dinner first.

Of course I do, I just wasn't expecting it. I mean we've usually been more about looking out for ourselves, right?

Some of them seemed to jump at the opportunity to speak with me.
And, if I needed to give my name and dinner is always an option, I have nothing better to do.

Most political blowhards will jump at the chance to preach their hypocrisy, so I'm not surprised. How many of them have told you that the 'represent the common man?' How many of them actually DO? That's the question.

Well I think it is time for a change. We can't stay cloistered off in our own little world. It is time for us to interact with the world. That is part of the reasons I started those charities, which were partial you idea.

There is no common man. Each person has individual needs and ways with which they should be dealt.
