Technologist Tony Stark My platform? Well that's fairly simple. The people here are the some of the most powerful, and occasionally most dangerous people in the Metaverse. We, they, you, whatever pronoun you prefer like to play as hard as they work, and I want to keep that open. All too often when a political void like this opens up, it becomes all about rules, regulations, legislation, and all kinds of other nonsense. What I'm proposing in terms of what the President is, is more of a diplomatic body to keep the various forces around here in check while staying out of the day to day business of the Nexus' residents lives as much as possible. I've got the credentials and experience both here and in my native 616 to back that up. ::arches an eyebrow:: Looks like Tony Stark DOESN'T remember the names of people.
So. What your Proposing is controlled Anarchy? Because, that's what it sounds like.

I know Warren's name, I prefer nicknames whenever applicable, it's less formal.
But to get to the question at hand, the definition of anarchy is that it isn't subject to control so you're suggesting that I'm proposing something impossible when that simply isn't the case.
Will governing the Nexus likely be akin to herding cats? Of course, very few of us even have recognizably similar governments on our native worlds. What I'm proposing is a small government mostly concerned with keeping open diplomatic discourse between the major factions that reside here and keeping Injustice International in check.

The Theodore Rooseveldt way of course. Look when you're dealing with say a misunderstanding between the Avengers and the Justice League, or something like that all it takes is to sit the parties down and get communication going. Poof, done. Thing is that isn't necessarily happening, so when it gets to a situation where action needs to be taken, people don't follow the correct channels, and a lot of the time that's because they don't feel comfortable branching out.
I mean a case in point would be Christopher Alice Powell and his unfortunate incident with the Cyberdome. I would imagine that if Chris had a better source of information and aid, he wouldn't have skulked around stealing software and exacerbating the problem until a massive intervention was necessary.

Warren_Worthington III *sits back and watches the interview* Powell's middle name is Alice? That's what current intelligence is pointing to, yes. How's the Bay Area treating you? I'm more of an LA man.

What else do you have? Fair enough, but I'll give you an exclusive and not just to get back at Jerusalem. The SHRA expires in 2009, and while I do not have a role in the legislative branch of the US government, I will be suggesting that it not be renewed. I should also add that Maria Hill has been left in charge of SHIELD for at least the duration of this election as she is the only senior member who is not currently seeking office. Anyway, what else do I have? Well I have the guts to tackle Injustice International head on, which puts me in an extreme minority. I'm sure that my opponents will attempt to demonize my recent actions against them, but I would be interested to see where any of them have led any pro-active action against that nest of villainy. Tenzil Kem will tell you that he wants to set up a criminal tribunal, but I'm sure that he has never suggested this until an elected position became available.

Yeah, after I tapped Simon for the Avengers that just left The Order and those kooky kids with the velociraptor.

I'll believe that when I see it, Turns out that Donyell saw something extremely different from what you are saying when he traveled to the future.
What's the Reason behind your proactive stance against Villiany? Recently.. Didn't You hire a villain to help you fake your death?
