Chuckling, she picked up the quarter, flipping it up in the air and catching it as she looked after the girl. "True...i guess i was wishing i could give you a little more credit than the others...maybe think before acting." Slipping the quarter into her pocket, she turned starting to dash across the street. That was one of the problems she had with demons...rather they recognized it or not, they were sometimes extremely arrogant.

((But I'm not a Lycan...I'm a demon.))
"Sorry if I came across badly." Neko shouted after her. "It comes with the territory unfortunately, no matter how much I try to stop it." She sighed. Yet again. She could get along well enough with other night-walkers but humans? They just confused her at times.

"Yea, whatever," she said as she got to the other sidewalk which turned left towards the park. Her stomach growled slightly as she looked around to find something to eat. As she turned, she saw the silhouette of the demon as she walked away, which cause her to growl slightly. Shaking off the feeling, she walked over to a park bench and sat down, folding ehr hands in her lap.

Neko felt along the length of her choker. She folded up her umbrella and put it into a shadow, reminding herself to get it later. She turned into a white cat, her choker still there, and trotted after the hunter. She sat up on her haunches next to hunter and mewed at her.

She began to run her fingers back through her hair to get it out of her face when she glanced down and saw a cat. She had always been fond of cats, so natuarally, she started to reach down to pet it. However, she drew her hand back before it touched the cat, biting on her lower lip gently. "What do you want, huh? I dont have any food...go on," she said, turning her face up to the rain.

Neko twined about the hunter's ankles, purring and rubbing against her in a playful menner. She mewed again, rolling onto her back even though she was getting soaked.

"Ugh...what is it?" Leaning forwards, she stroked the cats stomach for a moment before standing, "There, is that what you wanted?" She placed her hands on her hips softly, looking down at it. She couldnt help but laugh, moslty at ehrself as she turned to resume her walk.

Neko followed her, mewing to get attention. She twined about the hunter's legs even though she was walking, and kept going up on her haunches to get her attention.

After a few steps, she growled, bending over and picking up the cat, setting it on top of a dumpster that was on a street corner. "Look...what is it that you want from me? Huh? Just...stay here!" Taking a few steps backwards and still looking at the cat, she started to run across teh street.

Neko titled her head to one side. Okay, this wasn't working. She jumped off of the dumpster and trotted behind the hunter, wondering why she was now being so cold to her. She had been so friendly before...Did she know that the cat was Neko? Unlikely...She mewed again and sat down on the sidewalk, staring at the hunter. At that moment, a truck came by and splashed into a puddle, drenching the already drenched Neko. She sat there, looking rather dejected and sad. She mewed quietly.

Sighing, she stopped and turned around as she had just willed herself to keep walking. Muttering to herself, "This is going to kill me," she walked over to teh drenched cat and picked it up tucking it into her trenchcoat. "Come on....lets get you somewhere dry..."
Turning the corner into a dead end alleyway, she set the cat onto pf a pile of boxes, rubbing its head for a moment. Looking at it, she sighed, "Please...just tell me what it is you want. Is it food? What?!"

Len smirked at the blood and ash that blew away unseen. He turned and headed once again down the street. He noticed that he never saw many hunters out in the city, or atleast any he had met so far. There were beginning to have quite a few join their ranks, but he had seen few on his hunts and walks so far. He shruged and continued down the street, looking into the alleyways he passed just incase something was dwelling or waiting in there. It was a common spot just before day was to arrive, as well as a good spot for them in general.
He sighed and levelled his shades, continuing down a now more busy street, the life of day developing now.

Neko pressed her nose to the hunter's. She mewed again, and then licked the hunter's nose before turning back over onto her back. She mewed, looking up in a clear cry for attention.

Wrinkling her nose as the cat licked it with her rough tongue, she patted it on the stomach a few times before taking a step back. Looking at the choker, she quirked an eyebrow, sliding her fingers against it. Looking around slightly, she took a few more steps backwards so that she was out in the sidewalk again. "Listen....go home, or something! I dont have anything else to offer you." With that, she turned and began to walk once more, shoving her hands in her pockets after brushing some wet hair from her face.

Neko raced after her. What was wrong with being friendly? She would've asked, but that would be...akward to say the least, since cats don't talk. Well, normal ones didn't anyway. She dug her claws into the hunter's pant leg, mewing for more attention.
