Farsite touching down lightly upon the street after a slow fall from shadow, stretches for a moment and with blue tendrils in his eyes beguines to walk down the street, his coat billowing and whipping to his right from the wind.

For a moment, she lingered under the overhang of the apartment complex as the rain fell steadily on the people of the street. She sighed slightly. It had been raining since the first day she had arrived in the city. Oh well....she couldnt change the weather. Flipping the collar of her trench coat up, she walked down the steps and into the streets of the city once again, the rain falling straight down for the moment.

It wasnt long before she turned to see a shadowy figure leaning over the firm of a woman. Her body was limp in the figures arms, and from what she could tell, a mere passerby would assume that it was two lovers. However, she was immediately suspicious.Veering off into the alleyway, she looked around to make sure that there were no other innocents around before drawing her magnum and heading towards the two. Kicking a small stone to the side as she walked towards them, the figure's head whipped around to look at her. His fangs glistened in the dim light as he hissed at her, immediately taking off down the alley. Briefly, she looked at its victim. She knew that the girl was a goner, and so she knelt by the corpse, sliding her fingers over the girls eyes which were open in a blank and lifeless stare upwards. Growling, she stood and faced teh direction that the vampire had gone.

Within seconds, she was in hot pursuit as the vampire weaved itsway further into the alleyways. Despite his speed advantage, she managed to keep pretty close to him. However, as she rounded a corner, she couldnt see him. There were only two ways he could have gone. To the right and into a dead end, or jumped over a large wooden fence blocking the path straight ahead. As she stepped slowly into the middle of the junction of each path, she smirked, slipping her gun into its holster at her side. Her eyes scanned around the area when suddenly, she felt the woosh of air behind her as if someone were trying to grab her from behind.

Without the slightest hesitation, she dropped down so that the grab attempt passed right over her and swept her foot at his ankels. The man let out a malicious laugh as he simply jumped over them, trying to grab her once more. Grinning, Kerrigan pushed off the ground and did a backflip away from him, landing in a crouched position as he turned to face her. "Well hunter...your not like the others ive come across...you might actually give me a challenge before you die." She simply narrowed her eyes as him as he charged her once more. As soon as he got close enough, she jumped, swinging her right leg around to connect squarely with his jaw, sending him sliding into a wall.

Using the time he was dazed from his impact with the wall, she took a running start at the wall opposite him and ran up the wall, springing backwards in a sort of flipp and grabbing ahold of a low hanging fire escape that was directly above him. As he staggered to his feet, she dropped down, locking her legs around his throat and then threw her weight to the left so that they fell together, but he spinned a few times in the air before making contact with the concrete ground. When she landed, she simply did a shoulder roll forwards and onto her feet, drawing her magnum with the vampire rounds in it and fired off three shots into the vampire as it struggled to get up off the ground again. The first shot went into the heart, the second shot through the forehead, and the third shot through the right side of the chest.

Immediately, the smell of garlic permeated through the air as she stood over the body of the vampire. Looking down at it with a look of disappointment and yet triumph, she holstered her magnum and turned, walking back out into the streets. Stretching, she smiled softly, continuing on her way.

Len exited Hunter's door, it swinging back into it's proper placement. He turned and nodded the two hunters that were guarding the entrance in greeting. The bright reddish light that was caused from the elctric club sign over head, loomed over the three figures as they stood there, Len looking straight ahead into the very early morning streets. He then levelled the dark shades upon his nose so that they concealed his eyes completely with a finger as he moved down and into the deph streets of the city.

It was reletively calm at this late, or early, for it was day, but it was still dark. He couldn't seem to be able to get to sleep for the past few days because of the dreams that kept coming to him. It didn't bother him though, he was sure he could last at least a good week without a full sleep, of course with the exception of ten minute naps now and then. As he walked down the streets that were, every few minutes, consumed by single drivers heading home from busy over night working scheduals or just early birds, he thought about anything that came to his mind. These walks were good for him to do such things, and to calm his nerves after a full tempting work-out.

He walked through common low-down New York neighborhoods, leaving about an hour perhaps, before people were to get up for their daily rutines. Something that a hunter would probably never know...at least Len. Ever since he became bent on being a hunter of the super-natural after his father's murder, and learning of this constant war, he had wanted to become a difference in it. Who knows, maybe he already had, but still it wasn't enough. He didn't know what to do with himself anymore. These were the things he thought on during these lonely walks, letting all the harsh feelings and inner depression out so that he may return to his normal self afterward; after all, that's what she would want for him.

He let out a sigh, stopping at the corner of the sidewalk where a stop sign loomed over head. He looked in both directions for any vehicles, and when non seemed to be in view he continued his way across the street and back onto the sidewalk on the other side. He looked up, seeing smoke coming from metal chimneys a top apartments and diners, signaling the awakening of the city was to approuch shortly. But not yet, meaning that they would still be out now, and that was the meaning of lowering one's guard was not an option. In fact, even during the day, it never seemed to be either.

He stepped up and nodded to a man reading a news paper on a green-painted bench. While moving away he stopped, he heard something approuching. He grinned, knowing that the man was a vampire and was waiting for an unsuspecting victim to pass by. That's what was satisfactory with Len's casual appearance, if one were not to look close enough that is, it lurred in his prey.

"Bad idea..." Len smirked, the clicking of the Desert Eagles that had been, unbeknownst to the vamipre, brought out slowly and were ready to fire at a single movement from the blood-sucker. Len tilted his head slightly at the movement of the vampire getting closer and chuckling silently, followed by the turn of the hunter and a muffled shot that could barely be heard throughout that streets commented the hunter's gathering a new kill. Another turned and unexprienced vampire was off the streets.

Neko walked along the empty sidewalk, her umbrella barely keeping her dry. She had recently purchased a new outfit and, even though it was still raining, she had wanted to go outside and show it off.

It was a red, knee length dress that was just off of her shoulders, with trumpet sleeves that stopped a little short of half way between her elbows and her wrists. Over it, she wore a strapless black corset, rather odd because she almost never wore corsets, that was tied with a deep purple ribbon in the back. As usual, she wore her normal shoes and her knife belt. Her other weapons were invisible, and her left eye was Illusioned to be the same shade as her right one, emerald green. Her engagment ring sparkled in the rain on her left hand, and she sighed when she noticed it.

Her tails and ears drooped, betraying her emotions. She hadn't seen anyone in a long time...so long that even seeing Nox for such a brief moment had been a relief. Talking to Kage wasn't the same as having a normal conversation, and both of them sighed at the same time.

Turning the corner back onto the main street, she still had the trace of a smile on her lips as she shoved her hands deep into the pockets of her trench coat. It still amazed her that these people never seemed to sleep. Every time she was out, it seemed that the rest of the city was with her. While at first she found the hustle and bustle interesting and fun, she soon grew tired of being shoved out of the way by rude businessmen and clubbers on the way to their next hangover. Turning onto a deserted street, she walked along once more leaving the noise behind her.

It seemed that there was only one other person walking along that street, in the opposite direction that she was walking. Thinking nothing of it, at first, she stepped to the side slightly to let the figure pass. However, as she glanced over as the girl walked by her, she caught a glimpse of the knife belt. Snapping her attention back forwards again, she took a few more steps, instinctively placing her hand over her magnum should something start.

Neko smiled, intruiged by this woman. You'd've think she'd notice the ears and tails first, before the belt. Right, Kage?

A hunter's still a hunter, no matter what they notice.

Oh, you're no fun.

Neko stopped, placing a fist on her hip and tiled her shoulders and hips accordingly to maintain her balance. She really didn't want to go into the sea of people the hunter just left, but following where the hunter was going mihgt make her think she wanted a fight. She sighed again, exasperated. She turned around to head back home, despite what the hunter might think. Stupid crowds.

A faint smirk crept across her face as she heard the girls footsteps change direction and begin to follow her own. Her first instinct was to turn and start firing away. However, there were too many people close by that would be able to respond quickly to a gunshot. Second option was to engage in hand to hand combat. But she was still a little tired from her training and such. Until she knew more about this persons intentions, she would wait.

Taking a quarter from her pocket, she flicked it onto the ground and bent over, pretending to be searching for it. Of course, she really could care less about the quarter. Keeping her ears open to listen to the movements of the stranger, she glanced up for an instant before turning her eyes back to the ground, waiting to see what the girl would do.

Neko kept walking, staring at the woman she she bent over. She was looking for a quarter of all things. She shook her head. Such a pretense. "Ya know, if I had wanted to do something to you, I already would have." Neko kept on walking.
