Felina shook her head "Dad certainly wouldn't let me get away with it. He can be pretty tough when disciplining when he wants to be. Though I don't exactly have any thief tricks like yours so it would be a lot harder for me than it would be for you" she smiled taking Oassu's hand also having seen the purse "Well if you are going to be teaching them your tricks I guess its my job to teach them all how to fit in with high society. Once I have managed to at least teach you to not do anything particularly offensive" she teased giving him a playful nudge.
Satoshi nodded with a shudder "Oh sure I know that much, its not a common sight in villages like these to see a complete family with no underlying issues tucked neatly under the rug. And sure mum has some good qualities. I just wish she had a different career. It's like most of the world has probably seen more of her from her job than I have if you get what I mean. You know for a while a few people mistook me for my mum and reported you as dating her" she snickered.

Oassu nodded "Though hopefully they won't have to do all that much since I reckon the socialising is probably going to be the least fun thing I have to do tonight" he grunted "Perhaps I should go back and tell that woman to take better care of her purse..." he pondered aloud before snapping out of it by Felina's nudge. "Hey I was never that offensive, I just think if them noble types are set against me it won't make a difference how charming I come across" he said poking her back.
Gil blushed slightly "Well that's a little embarrassing though I'm surprised, you don't look all that much like your mother, though wouldn't this village have a problem with your mother's choice of career" he asked idly rubbing Satoshi's shoulder "Famous as she is, she must have photographers and reporters scouting her out all the time, eventually one of them will stumble upon this place and reveal it's location no?" he asked.
Itaka nodded in agreement before drinking "Sure that sounds like a fun enough goal, didn't think you particularly cared for sailing" he said idly playing with Seph's hair with his other hand "Still would it be a small boat you run yourself or a big luxury cruiser with servants and the like?" he asked curious.
Zadina giggled slightly at Amane's surprise "Actually Amane, the Viera community has been here a long time, so long that most of the Viera have integrated more of elvish culture into their own so they don't treat it so severely here" he said happily "Admittedly they have probably lost a great deal of their own culture but if it means they can live together peacefully I'm sure it's fine" he said shrugging.
Jeckhart smiled "It's fine Hebal but yes Amane, most other cultures all live without the gender seclusion that Viera have so it's definitely possible, doesn't your friend Melanae have her parents living together happily?" he asked surprised she was taking it so surprisingly.

Seph paused stealing some of Itaka's leftovers "Well yeah I did spend a good decade sailing at one point pirating you know. Was a great experience. I wouldn't want some big cruise ship. Just a modest sized one with a small crew of experienced seamen. One is nice sure but in heavy weather and other unexpected circumstances you are far less likely to come back in one piece. Sailing probably isn't your thing though. You Don't seem the type to like it either"
Amane paused scratching her head "I guess their family are ok but that's just one male viera and cant do too much by himself. And a lot of the older viera really don't like him being there so I admit I feel a little sorry for him in that sense. Not to worry I just wont mention it to the elders if I bumped into boy viera hehe"
Hebal nodded "That's probably a good idea, they wouldn't like that one. But hey check outside, theres like a whole crowd of people on either side watching our carriage. It's really quite creepy and must be nearly here by now based on the amount of them"

Felina smiled politely declining a passing vendor trying to sell her a selection of stuffed dragon toys "Well you managed to win me over and Corella likes you so maybe you can start throwing the compliments at the right people and will be fine. But hey, that's why we came out here remember. Time to have some proper fun in the meantime. It's not like anyone knows who you are yet, means if we choose to go ice skating nobody will be pointing and laughing if we mess up to" she added pondering on whether to engage in that activity.
Satoshi snickered stroking Gil's cheeks where he blushed "On occasion but considering the entire family outside go on fake names and identities, most of them don't get very far. Plus for the very few ones that make it so far, there are ways of making them keep quiet that involves erasing their memories. So don't go accepting any friendly drinks on your way out the village, You may be a guest but depending on whos on duty they might try it" she warned

Oassu nudged the vendor gently away from Felina as they passed with an apology "Sure but winning over takes time, I'm more worried about getting harassed tonight" he sighed not quite sure Felina was right about it being so easy "But sure we're just relaxing though I don't know, didn't I get any press over here? Thought I was palace gossip for a fair bit" he said raising an eyebrow in surprise "You can ice skate?".
Gil sighed shuffling slightly in the water starting to feel a little cold from lack of movement "Well I suppose that's one harsh way of dealing with them but sure I'll be mindful of that, it wouldn't really do any good anyway you'd just invite me back another time" he chuckled.
Itaka frowned "Hoy, wasn't finished yet" he said swiping the bowl away with a slight chuckle before eating it "An you underestimate me, you really think I'd enjoy just sitting here all the time? I said I didn't do much in the running of the guild despite the time it's been there but it's been a profitable business venture and with the right administration I don't need to be anywhere near it." he said finishing his pasta completely before washing it down with some beer "Ahh that was nice, but yeah I used to run pirate ships with Barbaros' dad you should know, it's where he got that big cannon from...sure he modified it a fair bit but still came from his dad's ship at first" he said sitting back and placing an arm around Seph as they relaxed on the couch.
Zadina giggled "They might be mad just to know you are spending so much time with a boy regardless of race" he pointed out glancing outside "Yes, I think I mentioned but nobility arriving in the city at this time of year for the ball tends to get quite the spectacle, you'll see we've got guards along the side of the road to clear our path and I imagine you can hear the horns now as well" he said waving to some of the people outside unsure if they'd recognise him through the small window.
Jeckhart nodded "I had noticed the carriage had slowed considerably but don't be creeped out Hebal I'm sure you'll receive a great round of applause for taking such great care of a beloved Lord of Yithra." he said

Seph stuck her tongue out at Itaka, waving the single piece of pasta triumphantly that she did mangae to steal "Well perhaps hats something for you and me to save up for. Couple of years at sea would be a nice little semi private adventure don't ya think. Would even let you choose the destination as I would just be happy to do the sailing part" she grinned nibbling at her prize. "And that's how Barbaros knows about your slow aging I'll bet, must have been a weird relationship between the two of you at first. I find it is when people you knew as kids grow up and overtake you anyway"
Hebal rubbed her ear "You make it almost sound like I am one of his maids or bodyguards, probably the maid option since I didn't take my spear with me to the palace or in more bizarre cases half might think I am organising some kinda arranged marriage hehe. You know how silly gossips can be at times"
Amane paused wondering how people might recognise who was in the carriage until she suddenly remembered the crests on either side of the carriages on draped fabric "Nah that's just stupid mum. I bet they will just see us as people looking after him.. Maybe a really pretty nanny with your fur all shiny like that. People must really like the nobility here to stand around all day and not even see us do anything"

Felina nodded "Oh no actually there is no official statement about us as of yet. Just hear say and rumors really. you can thank dad for that one. Or rather he used Elithana's engagement to keep ours quiet until we wanted more people to know about it. dad has a talent for fobbing off journalists fortunately. As for people harassing you. With all the high status nobility around, almost all the top ranking military officials are present with the exception of Dysocu. It really wouldn't be difficult to get any trouble makers out of our hair if we say the word" she assured him skipping around him in a circle. "Oh yes, mother taught me to ice skate as a child on the palace lake all the time to get me moving around more during winter times, was really fun if painful when I fell but she was always quick to heal me. Elithana was the worst at it, grace isn't her thing"
Satoshi nodded "I would gladly have you back and so would my parents. Probably the dogs too and you got Haru to say something which is an achievement in itself and..... ugggggh!" she suddenly groaned caught off guard by something large jumping into the water behind her "Hey Aelo way to ruin the mood" she sighed while the dog barked happily swimming around.

Oassu raised an eyebrow surprised at that "Well that's impressive sure, surprised there's not much official out about us but rumours can be as good as fact for the commoners I should know" he said smirking at Felina "You certainly seem excited but sure we can go ice skating, it's one of the few activities I could really do as a kid, public ice rinks an all being free" he said linking arms with Felina again in an attempt to keep her still at his side "I think Hebal's starting to rub off on you" he joked.
Gil chuckled reaching out to pet the happy Aelo swimming around "Well that's my cue to leave and dry off I suppose" he said releasing Satoshi from his arms to make his way over to the ladder to pull himself out.
Itaka shook his head "No I've not been in his life that long, he knows the secret from his dad but I met Barbaros when he was a young man, helped him set up in the Agralia before he met his wife and had kids, gave him a job in the guild and...well he's a lot like his dad so we just got on well and of course he knew my secret from his dad but no he's a good guy" he said pulling Seph over across his lap laying her down so her could idly stroke her hair and horns with one hand and cuddle her with the other "Though you wanted to go to the Tricasian islands I thought? I hear that's the place to be if you want to buy a nice holiday home, lotta luxury private mansions on them I hear" he said
Zadina frowned shaking his head "I doubt anyone would think it's an arranged marriage or at least I hope they don't but yes the elves are quite fond of their nobility, it's how we have such a strong sense of unity despite being scattered all over" he said peering out "They will see lots of nobles throughout the day, I imagine some of the better prepared nobles will even scatter some gil throughout the crowd to them" he said "Though you needn't worry Hebal you'll be announced as an honoured guest of mine so you'll be welcomed warmly I'm sure" he pointed out.

Seph gasped surprised by the sudden motion "Maybe if we are going on a sit down and sunbathe holiday sure but for long periods of time the heat would drive me nuts. We could always sail around it then dock and kick back a little while though. I would just be happy with a bigger home I can actually walk in for not having filled it right up with stuff" she smirked pulling Itaka down in for a kiss.
Hebal smiled glad to be considered honoured "oh well in that case I guess I better do my best curtsy outside the carriage and hope not to slip up hehe. But wait, the ting to do is to throw money. I think I have enough change in my purse to have a go at this" she squealed reaching over to open the carriage window "Wheee this is kinda fun even if I don't have as much to throw away as some of the guys in front"
Amane groaned shivering a little as the cold air blew into the carriage "Umm mum, I think that was a diamond you just threw at the crowd. They are probably going to think us really wealthy now. " she whispered shuffling closer to Zadina hoping to steal some warmth from his cloak. "I think its really amazing how unified you are especially compared to us viera"

Felina shrugged gently guiding Oassu forward at a quicker pace "Oh its not just that dear. I just love everything to do with this festival. This is all me coming out but we are heading towards the ice skating anyway because its right next to the band. So are you going to wow me with your skating? how did you manage to get yourself a pair of ice skates? Or was it like here were they let you borrow a pair from them"
Satoshi sighed reluctantly climbing out the pool ignoring the delight of Aelo who had located the Frisbee she had dived in for "Well you were planning to get out some time soon I guess" she smiled wrapping a towel around herself "A bit of a pity really for I am starting to really enjoy our little sessions by the pool we seem to have going" she quietly added getting another towel to wrap around Gil.

Oassu shook his head "It don't really remember how I got them but sure I got a nice bit of practice in, though nothing fancy not like I could pay or steal lessons" he said as they walked on past a road where a large crowd was flanking each side "What's going on with the crowd Felina? Some kinda parade due or something?" he asked not seeing anything on the road.
Gil nodded shaking some of the water off himself and out of his hair before going over to retrieve his towel from Satoshi "Sure it's quite relaxing when you can't drown in it" he said wiping some of the water off his face and hair before frowning and wrapping it around his waist not really liking to wear it over his arms. "Still perhaps we should headback once dried up, getting on in the day after all" he said glancing over at Enkidu still snoozing under the table.
Itaka sighed returning the kiss "Sure sounds like a good reason to get rich again, though it'll be better than the desert at least, don't know how you'd bear living with a family of fire demons if the heat of Tricasia is too much for you" he teased.
Zadina giggled petting Amane on the shoulder and casting a small spell to keep her warm "Yes it is a little odd since we're quite similar but perhaps because we have a consistent structured ruler as opposed to Viera tribes which are all pretty self-governed as I see it" he said as the carriage rolled to a slow halt. "Now everyone if you look out the window you'll see the front gate of the palace" he said gesturing to the window on his side "Amane would you care to look?" he said shuffling aside to let her past.

Seph shook her head "I have never hung around in Tricasia that long and not in the height of summer especially. As for Alpha's place. He actually wasn't living in a fire demon area. You see Iota wasn't a fire demon and had fur. the climate of the fire demon region would have been too much for her to manage so they lived somewhere more mild. And then Alpha never wanted to move she passed away. The guy can be pretty sentimental when it comes to his family" she explained.
Amane paused leaning over to take a look "Oooh that wall is huge, I guess the palace gates would have to be large when you guys can get so tall. but I guess that means that we will be getting off just before the gates perhaps? That is if we are expected to smile and wave to the crowd" she wondered sticking her head out the window for a better luck causing much confusion from the crowd. "Your palace looks really pretty with all its towers, its amazing you manage to keep this place so well hidden. It looks like something out of a fairy tale book"
Hebal nodded "I agree with that but just wait until you see the inside because that's really pretty too" she grinned tucking herself back into the carriage. "Well that was probably the first and only time I will get people cheer at me for sitting down and doing nothing hehe and I bet the palace gardens will look like a winter wonderland inside too"

Felina sighed glad they were walking right along the back of the crowd "This is where everyone goes to see the noblemen/animals arrive. Theres one or two horse fanatics but its mostly to look at nobility. So lets not hang around here too much because these are the type of people who might recognise me" he whispered pulling her hood over her face. Some of these people have travelled really far to get here. That group of really tall and broad guys have to be snow elves for instance. Can't mistake that build. And another group guessing by their language come from Agralia" she pointed out slowly creeping away towards an alternate route.
Satoshi laughed taking a moment longer to spot Enkidu "Must be the most rest that thing has had in a long while. Usually he is always keeping watch over you. But if you like we could always just go now and leave the heat of the sun to dry us off as we walk, that can be quite a nice thing" she suggested giving her hair a squeeze before untying it. Should at least say bye to the family first though"

Oassu nodded hanging back slightly to peek at the snow elves thinking they looked really peculiar "Well that's interesting though I thought all the elves had fled Agralia when the big battle started but maybe they are refugees or something" he said tugging Felina into an alleyway seeing she wasn't fond of being near people "Lets get out of here then, don't want folks recognising you and hassling us after all, you're way more important than any noble that comes down that road I'm sure" he chuckled pulling Felina close for a kiss.
Gil frowned "If you are sure, but my clothes are a bit awkward and heavy to fit into a bag" he said a little bashful about walking half-naked through the streets "Still of course we'll say goodbye to your parents, give them thanks again for the lovely meal" he said whistling to Enkidu who yawned before padding slowly and lazily over to them.
Itaka nodded "I'm sure, I imagine most folks are pretty sentimental about their families" he said idly kissing Seph's horns happily "Still if we get rich again we'll be sure to give you your little boat dream" he chuckled
Zadina nodded gently pulling Amane back as a palace guard dressed extravagantly for the occassion marched up to the carriage window. "Lord Loweena it is a great surprise and an honour to have you here, who are your guests that I should announce them as well?" the guard asked. Zadina nodded "It's a pleasure to be here as well, I hope my Aunt and Uncle are well but these are my guests and trusted companions Jeckhart, Hebal and her lovely daughter Amane" Zadina explained indicating each one as the guard looked around the carriage. "Arriving just after us is Mr Alpha and his daughter Mu they are also my friends and guests so please announce them as well" he said dismissing the guard who nodded and stepped down from the carriage to announce them to the crowd in Elvish "He's just going to introduce us all then we need to get out and go to the palace where we'll pay our respects to my Aunt and Uncle" he explained to the others "So we'll just wait for Alpha and Mu to join us before we head up the path" he explained.

Seph sighed giving Itaka a squeeze "Well its very nice of you to allow it, and we will have that little beach house in Tricasia that you desire though maybe not for use in the height of summer... would make a good dragon festival getaway I think. Since I know you aren't a big fan of the cold" she laughed releasing a small purr.
Amane froze up surprised to hear the sound of trumpets playing outside the carriage "Umm ok sounds simple enough but do you need to go first or do we or is there anything special we need to do" she asked nervously.
Hebal on the other hand simple nodded and let out a brief "ok" before bursting open the carriage door and bouncing neatly into the snow below glad to be able to stretch her legs"
