"Um, let me think - NO!" said Pilata, "I generally avoid dark portals, and especially those who rule them. And, in case you've forgotten, YOU'RE the one who was forcibly dragging me here - why would I want to make it easy for you?"

"I'm not trying to hurt you. My Lord just wants to see what you know. This is my last time asking you nicely....will you come with me?" X asked. Exo stood beside Pilata and drew his sword. "Damn stupid humans," X muttered. He then pointed his sword to Exo and Pilata. "You asked for it!" He then shot the blade out of his sword and sent it flying towards the two.

"Hey, I don't think your Lord would like it if you delivered us in pieces!" yelled Pilata, diving down to avoid being sliced in half, "And what's with the stupid humans business? At least the Exo in our universe isn't some puppet for a dark lord!"

"Is that so? Does he or does he not hang on to your every word and your every movement? Sounds like a puppet to me!" X taunted Exo as he began a series of hack 'n' slash moves. Exo pivoted out of the way of all the attacks and kicked X in the face. "Boy, do you have it all wrong. Hanging with Pilata and protecting her doesn't make me a puppet. It makes me a good friend!"

"And I'm not evil," Pilata added, trapping X by quickly melting and resolidifying the ground.

X snapped his fingers and a group of small, upright walking dragons flew to his aid. "Who's job is it to determine who is good or evil. My master has done nothing wrong. He has given me life, and you have meddles with forces that have done no wrong. But i'm no judge," X said as a dragon broke the ground around him and set him free. "Kill 'em!" X ordered the dragons as he walked away.

"So much for the whole 'alive' thing," grumbled Pilata.
"Not so fast!" she yelled at X, changing to vapor then changing back to normal above X, knocking him to the ground, making his guitar skid away.
"Exo, help me!" Pilata called, struggling to keep X pinned, "If we can knock him out, you can take his clothes, pretend to be him, and trick someone into helping us!"

Exo ran to Pilata and X. "Maybe Monty's spell book could help!!" Exo exclaimed. He held the book high in the air and hit X over the head with it, rendering him unconcious. "Told ya!" Exo laughed. "Now, if we can get rid of those dragon things, we could infiltrate the castle!" Exo said. "Hey! Eat book!!!" Exo yelled as he threw the book at one of them. The dragon grabbed the book and ran off. "Whups..."

Pilata wanted to both smack him and hug him, but resisted.
"Quickly, change into his clothes!" she said in a quiet tone, "Then we can tie him to a tree or somewhere where he'll be out of the way. If we meet anyone on the way over, you can pretend that you captured me. We'll have to get the book back later."

Exo put on X's clothes. "Hey, this is cool. Why don't I dress like this?" He then grabbed Pilata's arm and said, "Alright, let's go see my master.....uh....which way is the castle?" Exo looked high into the air and saw the castle floating above them. "How do you think we can get up there?" Exo asked Pilata. "Wait a sec...I've got super strength! I can just use the power in my super strong legs to jump up there!" Exo concentrated most of his power into his legs and jumped up to the castle.

Pilata clung tightly to Exo, afraid that she was going to fall. When they landed safely, she almost collapsed, so happy to be on something resembling solid ground.
"Okay, where next?" she whispered, "And remember, act evil!"

Exo and Pilata approached the guards at the door. "GRRRR!! ARGHHHH! I'm evil! Let me in!!! GRRRRR!" Exo yelled at the guards. "He must be high again," one guard whispered to the other. The gate opened and Exo dragged Pilata in. "How was I? Were you scared at how evil I was?" Exo asked Pilata, loosening his grip on her arm.

She peered around. "So, where to next?"

"Well, if I was an evil dragon-person, I'd be in the highest level. So let's head up!" Exo said, preparing to make another jump. He paused and said, "Oh, an elevator. How convenient." Exo and Pilata headed to the top floor.
