((Just to make things clear... me and Taryn have an arrangement whereby if one of us is not present whilst the other one is, the one that is present has control over the absent one's characters.))
Taryn looked around, growing more and more nervous. It wasn't like Duellist to suddenly close his mind off to her... she had been so used to having him over her shoulders, it was disconcerting for him to be missing. "Mimi?" She called out.

Duellist "I don't like this, master..." Bertram moaned, as Duellist tied him securely to the bench and then vanished the ropes. "You let the beast out in the first place, Bertie... it's only fair you should put him back..." The assassin patted him on the shoulder as he looked about to cry. "Awww... don't worry... If he eats you, I'll get another lieutenant..." Bertram turned pale. "Very comforting, sir..." ~~ Taryn appeared in the hotel's foyer, suddenly alarmed. "Mimi!" She called out. "I know you're still here!" -Was she hearing things now? As she closed the bathroom door behind her, she heard it again. With a slight frown, the feline made her way across the lobby, footsteps hurrying into a brisk walk by the time she reached the foyer.- Taryn? -The faint frown that had adorned her face deepend at the hint of alarm.- What is it?

((You could always join Prateter Terra...but I somehow doubt you would... )) Actually, I'm working on a charrie for it. I'm just having a hard time deciding. I haven't done any sci-fi arpy in a long time.))

The young woman had an almost frightening look of concern on her face. -Mimi frowned and again she felt sick to her stomach. Duellist and Taryn were one for the other and completely open in their relationship... if Duellist had closed off, perhaps the task at hand was far more dangerous than what she'd been led to believe.- They.. formed a party... Duellist, Sirus, Midori and.. another kid.. -The feline's eyes darted about trying to she could spy the group around.- The kid said something about a spectre and having to dispose of it... Sirus said they'd be back by sunrise...

(( I'm tempted to bring one of my old charries back to life, her name's Ameryn and she's an alien from the planet Trinity... but I don't kow if I should. If I don't use her, I'll use a nameless charrie I've had in the back of my mind.. another lycanthrope but more 'proper' meaning she isn't as compassionate as Mimi. ))

Kourin sighs, and finds a small bottle of sweet and sour cream. She nods, before making her way to a refridegerator, to find the other ingreadent for a drink she was planning on making, since she had found the first ingreadent. She opens the fridge, and spots a box of strawberries. She grabs them and pulls them out. She also spots an ice tray, and grabs that, too.
"Excellent. Now I need a blender and brandy snifter."
It appeared that Kourin had a lot of knowledge about drinks. She was raised in a bar once, and she did read up on the topic a lot, since those were the only things that she could read in her house in a past life. But strangly, that was the only one she even bothered to remember, and besides, her drink knowledge really didn't matter now. She just wanted to find the blender, and the brandy snifter so she can complete what she had started. She then spots the blender, and smiles.
"Good."
She opens the box of strawberries and puts about six in, removing the tops first. She then puts about an ounce of the cream into the blender also. The final thing she adds is about three ice cubes. She places the top on the blender and begins to blend the mixture until it turns into a creamy substinance, and stops blending. She looks around for a brandy snifter, and spots one behind the bar, and grabs it. She sets it on the bartop, and pours the completed drink into the glass.
"There we go. A RRH."
She walks out from behind the bar, to take a seat to actually enjoy her drink. She takes a sip, and nods in approval. She then looks around, noticing the place is empty, at least the bar is. She shrugs, not caring.

Sirus said they'd be back by sunrise... Taryn suddenly felt the relief leave her, and she just collapsed against the wall. "What...? A spectre? And what other kid?" The young vampiress didn't like the sound of it. "Will they be all right?" She asked, nervously. "...wait... that's the man I love out there! They're doomed! He'll think of something silly, and do it..." She collapsed against the wall, almost starting to cry.

TErran(human), Vasudan(from either of the three Vasudas or their moons), and Shivans(presumabley, their home planet is somewhere in the nearly unexplored Beetlegueise system). I'd reccomend, for this one, choosing a human or vampire. The Lycans are normally Isolated with any action they get, leaving to person RP'ing them alone. That's no fun. Or choosing your own minority group of earth creature. ))

The assassin faded into a fine mist, and floated upwards, before vanishing almost completely from any sensory perceptions. Including those of the spirit world. Bertram managed to smile back. "Oh, sure... I can scream when he appears... I can do that..."
