Grem looked a little flushed . Her hair was in a sort of sleepy tangle and she tried to sort it out with a bit of hasty preening. Smiling she said.
"oh dear this is not at all the entrance I intended to make...no no .. not at all.. I was just waiting outside for the music to stop. No sense in spoiling the fun. "
She laughed nervously and waved to Rhodes With her fingers
"Rhodes.. Heather... Aykon... Hello.. oh and thank you to who ever brought me inside. I sort of forgot how easy it is to fall asleep in this place"
She gave another little nervous chuckle and straighted her clothes
"I must say you are all looking wonderful and not a bit older .. although I feel that I have been away for years and years"

Rhodes *Hot chocolate did sound like it would warm her up. She breathed lightly on her hands trying to warm(although with a lack of breath it didn't do any good) them before speaking.*"Yeah hot coco sounds nice hun, do you want any help?" I wasn't planning on going outside but he told me a red-haired woman was sleeping out there. So, I brought you in and put you on the couch. But you're right, the peace most people find here makes sleep come easily. But not to worry! Come on over and have some cocoa and tell us about what has happened to you these past three years. *Aykon breathed a sigh of relief mentally, you were not mad at all it seemed and that made him feel very happy.*

*Fire hears her name from a female voice and turns around. It was Grem. She smiled a bit and waved while heading over to one of the many tables in the tavern*

Grem got up and padded over to the bar in her socks. She straightened her skirt over her hips as she walked,
"it isn't like it's easy to start.. So much has happened. But I've been fine for the most part. "
She climbed onto a bar stool and crossed her legs as she looked from one face to the other.
"I had a little cottage out in the country... spent some time fixing it up and sold it. So I made enough money for the nail boutique I was always on about.. Sen and I kept in contact for about a year. Then we sort of drifted apart."
She shrugged and sighed simultaneously
"That's the sort of thing that happens I guess when peoples hopes and dreams are miles apart."
Her smile was wistfully sad at that point and she watched the chocolate still swirling from its stirring in the cup

*He returns to the bar and wipes off a little stain from the cocoa preparation and then takes a sip of his cup before speaking.*I am glad to hear you finally got to start your dream, I know how passionate you were, you even ran a little nail shop here for the customers back in the heyday. *He thinks for amoment and then his face lights up*Oh! Sen is actually here. He was wandering around for a bit but I think he went off to his room. He will likely come downstairs before long. Did you guys leave on good terms? *As you mention dream and drifting, Aykon's face falters a little and he stares up at the ceiling. He remembered when Mouselet had created a starfield but the magic from it had long since passed. He felt a form of nostalgia and a bit of sadness but he hid it behind his cup of cocoa.*Ah yes, these things happen. But you know what they say about the most beautiful butterflies in the world... *He fades off and sips some more cocoa.*

Grem caught on to the conection between Rhodes and Aykon rather belatedly 'but she had hardly had the chance to digest that leap of circumstance when she was hit with yet another.
The mention Of Sens presence at the inn shot such a wave of adrenalin through her system in one go that her face first turned deathly pale and then filled with rising colour
"oh"
she said simply and her eyes were wide with shock. She reached for her chocolate but her hand was shaking so much she thought better of it and let the base rest safely on the bar top.
"thats...interesting"

*As Aykon's hand brefily grazed hers, a small fluttering of butterflies tickled her stomach. To ease the overwhelming feeling Rhodes blow steadily on her hot chocolate in order to cool it down. Grem's words made her wonder about couples in general, how would things lay out in the future and just someother things. The hot chocolate tasted delicious as it ran down her throat, it really it the spot.*
"It's sad that you two drifted apart Grem, but it is good to hear that you were able to do some of the things you set out to do."
*Sips a little on her beverage and listens to Aykon.*
"Really Sen is back? Wow it's like the old gang is coming back together, all we need now is Mouse ((I think she left again right?)), Shih ((I forgot if he died or not)) , and Evasem."
*Rhodes momentairly drifted off after mentioning Shih.. she hadn't thought much about him in the years past but some of the memories came back; she almost wished she didn't remember.*

If you left on good terms you might be able to connect again. Just a thought... *Aykon nods*Yeah, I think it would be wonderful to see the whole crew back but I don't know if that will be the case. I don't know about Shih or Eva but I don't think we will see Mouse. Her friend Nisso was here for a day or two but then mysteriously disappeared without leaving any note. I guess she had better things to do. Who knows? *Aykon sipped his cocoa and pondered a smoke but he knew that Grem hated smoke so he felt it was best to wait on that.*

Grem regains her composure quickly and manages a dismisive smile.
"oh yes fine fine.. well well what a suprise. I never imagined to find him here"
When Rhodes spoke of the "old gang" It sent her off into another day dream. Mouse to her was a faint ghostly figure that drifted in an out of the tavern from time to time but they had never had much to say to one another.. Evasem was different the very image of her poor tragic brother. She felt a surge of remembered anguish that brought with it memories of the other hostess. Hakura
oO(Hakura.. I think I spent more time talking to her then any one in this tavern ..oh how we fought.. she broke poor Eva's heart and he forgave her long before I did. Then there was Aetas)
She couldn't help but smile. Aetas had been such a character . Such a force..Namidami.. Kiki..Dorian. her thoughts turned to the lads extended family and a tall pale cleric.She couldn't go there and spoke out loud as if to dispell the image
"Great days hmmm? Such a long time ago"
"oh yes"

*When the bottom of her mug became visible she stood up, took her parcel under her arm and went to the bar. She quietly placed her mug in the sink and nodded to Grem's words. Much like Grem she was caught up in memories, some not so good and others that were wonderful, but Rhodes couldn't help but like the present a bit more since now she was finally with Aykon. She approached him then whispered in his ear.*
"Come get me when you are ready for bed."
*After saying what needed to be said she went to the stairs.*
"Night everyone."
*She didn't wait long for a response before going to her room*

"Aykon sweetie. If you think I have brought all that luggage with me to stop by for a cup of your cocoa you are out of your mind.. "
She smiled brightly and seemed to push the old thoughts away.
"Naturaly I want to stay and If there is a room available I'll take it with gratitude. "
She turned her eyes to the stairs
"Do you still have guards up and down the coridores at night? That vampire you hired gave my nerves quite a work over... such a dark brooding sort of fellow"

*Once the door clicks shut behind her, Rhodes sets her parcel on the endtable. Gracefully she unbinds the string that held the package shut to reveal several tansparent blood filled bags, much similar to those used in i.v's. In her mind she knew if anyone had seen them they would look down at her, her clan aways frowned at blood bags as opposed to hunting, and she was sure Aykon would probably like her less if he saw. She grabbed one of the packs and tore off the corner with her fangs, Rhodes needed a fresh meal after the few days of malnutrition. The vampire tossed the empty bag in the trash on her way to the bathroom, where she stripped down and threw on her pajama top and some socks. Several white flecks caught the corner of her eye as she passed by the window causing her to stop and step out onto the balcony. It was snowing, light and powdery snow, it was absolutely beautiful, she couldn't help but smile.*

Of course I have rooms available, in fact, we are at the lowest capacity in years. Only about three rooms out of 30 are being used. I have plenty to offer you. *Aykon looked at the stairs and then at Grem, he rememberd his old guard but shook his head*Oh, no guards. You see, after we dealt with the attack from some of my enemies, I put up more wards than a holy shrine around this place. If anyone gets through this they are supposed to be there. It even judges motive and overall temperment. Pretty cool huh?
