The fairy held her hand in the light, afraid to melt, like snow and spring.

Ivory winced a little. The girl, whose name she didn't even know, had made another pricking comment. I can't help it. I don't know anything. What am I supposed to talk about?! she thought, her face gradually growing distressed after the comment. Her chin fell down, and her gaze dropped to the floor, with cheeks burning in embarrassment.
"Oh come on don't be like that," the girl suddenly implored, the tone warmer, more animated than before. Ivory glanced up at her, startled. She was smirking, and slid an amiable arm around Ivory's shoulders, which made a self-aware feeling of pins and needles go down her spine. Ivory swallowed and forced it down. With a kind enough voice she insisted there were billions of things to talk about, though not a single one could enter Ivory's head at the moment. She leaned closer, as if sharing a secret. "...How about your measurements?..."
The new sound of her voice took a moment to sink into Ivory. "My wha-?" she started, then realization hit her. That breathy, husky element of the voice seared painfully in her mind, on locked up memories. She stiffened, even as the girl blew into her ear, and started to say something more in that dreadful voice, when suddenly a new body occupied the space between her and the girl, pushing them apart. Ivory teetered away, unsteady on her usually graceful footing. Ivory's gaze seemed locked on the ground. She couldn't move it up. She felt suddenly numb. Helpless.
The girl came out of nowhere again, her arms slinking around her waist, too warm. She spoke, and Ivory processed it sluggishly, "besides it's just female bonding. A little skin ship is important to build up your confidence." Her arms crept up, past the point that Ivory could coherently recognize as anything but physical terror. The hands curved around her breasts. Her voice crept into her ears, but even as it did, Ivory reacted.
A shrill scream right out of a horror movie filled the field as the strength left Ivory's legs, and her knees buckled. She dropped like a sack in the girl's arms, her scream warbling, and swept up one arm, to wrench away from he grip and then she fell onto her hands and knees. Her eyes darted up, out of her bangs suddenly soaked with a primal glint in them. People turned to stare at her, some jumping at the sound. Her breath locked in her throat, cutting off sound. Just when she absolutely wanted to run, hide, kick, bite, do anything to escape the flood of fear, she couldn't do anything but shiver. In a late, feeble defense, frost suddenly crawled out from under her, spreading out in a circle on the grass.

But her white skin flashed in the sun, solid, existing, and astonishly alive.

Uh-oh, you missed Ivory's incredible reaction, because the situation just got a lot more than just tense.

Fran was about to blow her whistle but then saw the commotion between Hibachi, Maro, and Ivory. Seeing Hibachi wrapping her arms around Ivory gave shudders to Fran and sighed. "You three!" she called to them. But before she could say anything more Ivory let out a scream that caused the other students to look over to her. Fran walked on over along with Aerith to see if she was alright. When Aerith hoisted the girl up and took her to a more calmer place Fran paid no attention and looked on over to Hibachi. "I won't have any of that in my class, young lady. I hope it won't happen again." she said to Hibachi. If kids were gonna do that then they should do it somewhere where others wont see. Fran took out her clipboard and honestly didn't want to go through with the class. "Let's just call it in for today and we'll resume when we're on our regular schedule" she said as she placed the clip board under her arm and Junna placed the targets back on to the ground. "I think we have enough of a show for today." she muttered.

Aerith frowned when she heard her friend sniffling a bit. She kept rubbing her back to make sure she was calm and ok. For a small person she sure punched pretty hard. She had a few scratched on her arms from when Ivory tried to dig her nails into her. When Ivory came to the realization that it was just Aerith she gave a smile and patted her head. Aerith took off her jacket revealing her white shirt with just short sleeves and slumped in on Ivory's head. "I'm sorry. I wasn't able to really help you." she said sitting back a bit. Aerith noticed Ivory staying quiet and crossed her legs. "Whenever you want to is okay." said Aerith. "You can talk to me whenever you want." she said. Feeling as though Ivory wanted to say something but didnt want to or couldn't. Aerith knew how she felt. She was the same way with Mr. Travoi, his wife, and his daughter. It took awhile but eventually she opened up to them. Aerith wasn't gonna force her. "Would you like to go to the infirmary and stay there for awhile?" asked Aerith looking over to her.

Ivory tried, but she couldn't put a smile on her lips. They merely trembled, and Ivory let them settle in a straight line once more. She gazed straight ahead at the opposite wall of the hallway, hugging her knees cose beneath her chin. Aerith's hand fell out of the sky and, light as air, patted her on the head. Bit with Ivory's physical awareness so heightened after the incident outside, she took no comfort in it. It merely sent a stab of the shakes down her spine again, the tickling of her scalp uncomfortable now. Ivory couldn't tell if Aerith had realized that or not, but she welcomed the barrier of Aerith's coat drooping over her shoulders. It felt like a shield.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't able to really help you." Ivory shook her head, not wanting to be apologized to. After a long, long moment of silence, Aerith seemed to understand, crossing her legs and commenting in a way with as little pressuring as possible that Ivory could say what she was conflcted about in her own time. Now was really as good as any. She mentioned going to the infirmary.
"Good idea," Ivory murmured, one hand, trembling, sweeping out from under the coat to pull it closed from the outside. There, they'd be out of the way. Nobody would walk astray into the hallway in the middle of her story. And the staff-member at the infirmary... Hopefully he would allow the privacy. They could go to her dorm room, but t was farther, and Ivory didn't want to make the treck there. She shuffled her heels off the bench, slapping the balls of her feet on the ground and shakily rose. Her legs quaked, knees almost knocking each other, but she wasn't as lock-jointed anymore.

Aerith nodded as she went and walked beside Ivory towards the infirmary. They could have gone to her room, but then she remembered that she had a roommate now. She gave a sigh wishing she kinda had a room to herself again. As they walked to the infirmary her mind began to wander. Moments later they were there. Aerith opened the door and walked on in. "Plus?" she called out for the medic who was in charge. "Is anyone in here?" she asked as she shut the door behind Ivory and walked around.
