I'll pair him up with Chloe bwahahaha!)) ((Oh lord. LoL. *watches another nail being driven in the coffin of Angela and Abel's relationship* emotion_awesome Fortunately Abel is so far from Chloe's type, it's just kind of sad. XD )) ((nah.. I just wanted to punish him for hurting Angela's feelings emotion_dowant LOL)) ((XDD Make him suffer. emotion_donotwant Though watching her walk around in mini skirts and heels might be punishment enough. emotion_awesome ))

gﾑd  Carrying Vivian in with one hand and a large bag of ice in the other, Gad entered the infirmary again and hurried on to where the doctor stood beside Isamu's bed. The boy hadn't opened his eyes yet and that caused a frown on Gad's face while he set the bag of ice on the floor beside the doctor, “She said you have small bags?” He tried to explain why it was one big bag rather than a bunch of small ones as she requested, motioning towards the girl he still had hoisted up in his arms. He couldn't put her down – not until she told him to! He didn't want to upset her, especially when she had been so nice to him before! “Oh, the older woman helped get the ice.” He added, just to give that nice woman some credit. She had left before he could thank her and he didn't want the doctor to think he was smart enough to do this all on his own. Then she may give him unjustified praise and that was the worst kind of praise – worse than criticism!
((Posting this horrendously late because I'm the most absentminded person ever. D8 ))

Chloe was just starting to worry about how long it was taking to get the ice, when the giant man returned--carrying Vivian. And one large bag of ice. She didn't have time to find small bags. Woo! Time to make a huge mess. Chloe went to pick up the bag and...yeah, no. That wasn't happening. Curse her stupid noodle arms.
"Hello Vivian," she said to the woman the man was carrying. "I do hate to impose but I fear I'm going to need your help again," she told Gad. "I can't lift the bag on my own and we don't have time to transfer the ice to bags. If you might please set Vivian down and help me pour this ice on the bed around Isamu?"

gﾑd Ah, there was his order! He nodded and set Vivian down to the ground gently, patting her on the head as she had done to him to assure her it was nothing against her – just another order had overrode her previous one! Gad then knelt and picked up the bag of ice, looking over to the doctor with a bit of curiosity. Could she really not lift this? It was so easy! But.. he wasn't going to criticize her lack of strength. Strength was something he was born with – it wasn't like he earned it or anything, so there was no right to boast. “...You want to.. pour the ice around Isamu?” He said doubtfully as he held the bag under one arm, using his now free hand to tear off the top of the bag. His fingers were too big and clumsy to waste time trying to untie it! He stepped over towards the bed and held the bag over it, looking back at the doctor for confirmation.

"Yes, around him please," Chloe said. "I'll be able to spread some over him as well. For now, let's try to pour it right next to his body so that the ice is touching him. And we'll try to keep as much of it on the bed as possible. This is so his body will cool down faster, and he'll be able to recover." As she spoke, she demonstrated with her hands where she wanted him to pour the ice so as to keep it against this body and from spilling completely on the floor.
She smiled up at him. "Thank you for your help." ((Last post so they can start cooling Isamu down and he can stop dying. XD And I'm off to bed! G'night! ))

That still sounded odd, but the doctor was smart – she would know what to do more than Gad ever could. “You are very welcome, doctor.” He replied, smiling awkwardly back at her for the thanks as he wasn't used in the least to such appreciation – before he had even finished his task, no less! He turned his head back to look at the boy and, without further delay, began to spread the ice carefully as the doctor instructed him to. He felt bad when the first few cubes touched Isamu's form, but.. he had said cold was good, hadn't he? If the doctor agreed, then he would have to take their word for it. It was better than letting him die. He was careful as he moved, pausing every so often to lean over and pick up an ice cube or four if they happened to miss the bed and fall onto the ground. She hadn't said they were to go to the floor and he didn't want someone to slip or fall on it, after all.
Eventually, the man had poured an even layer of ice cubes around Isamu's body as close as he could without outright burying the boy. He set the bag down and sent a quick glance at the doctor to make sure he had done it right, before stepping back and standing against the wall to watch. He would have left to finish shoveling the snow outside, but he didn't know if she would need him again. This came first. If it meant he would stay here for the rest of the day, he would – the man felt guilty for Isamu's dying! He had to at least be scolded by the boy himself for it before he could even begin to relax!

Is having someone I can trust too much to ask for?
During this entire time all Isamu could hear was the buzzing of people's voices. He couldn't even tell who was around him. He could only see through blurred vision. The next thing he felt was an IV being placed into his wrist, then ice around his body. Oh cool ice. Wonderful, glorious ice. It was like a minnie heaven filled completely with coldness. After quite bit of time his body finally decided that it was going to cool down. The boy blinked and slowly opened his eyes, gazing around tiredly. There was Gad... and Chloe? Oh how wonderful. Nonetheless, she had saved his life, and he was thankful.

Um, okay. Ignoring that, he grinned when Isamu opened his eyes. Did that mean he was getting better? He had to wonder what happened. It was just like last time when that creepy nurse had him help cool him down, but this time he looked like he was in a much worse state. He was still upset with the evil nurse for cursing him like that earlier, but couldn't build up the courage to say anything, so he just made sure to keep his distance. He had to make sure Isamu was okay though.

Isamu blinked, was that Rose that he had just heard? He turned his head and spotted the other boy, "Yeah..... im okay...." he replied tiredly. He wanted nothing more than to be held by Rose, but he didn't think that he would be willing to give Isamu a hug. Especially because it would raise his body temperature yet again.

gﾑd Ah! Isamu woke up! Gad smiled widely as he saw the boy stir and stepped forward, ready to beg for forgiveness and receive some kind of punishment for what he did today – but, then another boy spoke up. A boy he hadn't seen before. His heart jumped when the mysterious boy talked to Isamu and his throat dried. He didn't know him. He didn't know him and he knew Isamu, plus he seemed to come from nowhere! That made him scary and, as Gad often did in scary situations, he hurried out of the infirmary as fast and subtle as he could. Which.. wasn't the easiest thing, considering his side, but at least he got out!

((It looks like this is all wrapped up. ; w; My brain is tired and I'd love to read it all and post for Vivian, but there's the winter field trip and stuff and I'm trying to get all caught up so we will assume Vivian helped, worried, and fussed and then disappeared. ))

Chloe finally got the man inside the infirmary, and sort of pulled him out of the way. She looked at the beds and sighed. Yes. There was no way she was going to be able to lift him and get him up there. Her shoulders were already aching just from dragging him in. Clearly, what she needed to do was make a place for him to sleep on the floor. Right.
She looked around and finally deciding on a spot, going to lay a pillow and sheet down. Then she went back to Charlie and dragged him over, situating him on the makeshift bed before covering him with a blanket. There. Silly sleeping man. She wondered if he had some kind of narcolepsy. Or perhaps he'd just fainted because he hadn't eaten breakfast. She gently brushed his hair off his face and smiled, shaking her head as she stood.
Well, she would simply let him sleep for now. She had a few things to work on, then she should probably get herself something to eat as well--oh drat! she'd left her coffee in the hall. So unfair.

After some general clean up and freshening the room after the short absence, Chloe decided to get something quick to eat. It wasn't good for her to skip breakfast either, though she often did. Tomorrow, she would have to make sure she ate properly. Today, she would suffice with an English muffin until lunch. She took a muffin from the package in her food supplies, and went to check on her sleeping patient. He hadn't moved an inch. Chloe wondered how to wake him up. He wasn't really responding to her shaking him or any other methods. Perhaps she should try something the equivalent of smelling salts?
Right as she reached him to check on him, a wave of dizziness washed over her--likely the lack of breakfast and over exertion--and she found herself falling forward. Oh! Ohohoh! She was going to fall on him. She tried to position herself were she could catch herself and not actually land on him, but just over him. Without realizing, she brought up the hand with the muffin, to shield his face and as she hit the ground, smashed the muffin into his mouth.
She managed to mostly catch herself and only landed half on top of him as well.
So it was a save. Mostly.

So he chewed on it anyway.. He paused.. Oof. There's something heavy on top of him. And before he realized it, Charlie saw a lady just on top and base from their position---- Gaah! What in the world-----Urk!
He accidentally choked on the muffin! Which made him hard to breathe.. ♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠ "Failure is not always an option!"
